Had to hit up a Cook Out before making it to Florida! We don't have any of these tasty eateries near us in Orlando, so I always make sure to hit up this specific location on road trips. Clean restrooms, quick service and fast made food!

Cook out OMG you're here, well kinda. They are up in Georgia and it was just like the Cook Out in NC. The smell of this restaurant is amazing. Fast service and I decided to try the chicken sandwich and it was so delicious. Closes early so definitely must try!

Place is a mess, trash all over the kitchen floor, food being prepared without gloves. It's filthy.
    Gummy I.

The food was cold, the kitchen a mess, the people in the kitchen are prepping food without gloves, the lady taking order was rude asf, mid-way of placing my order the lady behind the counter looks at me and says hold on and takes the order behind me, then comes back to me and gets my order wrong, my 3 kids orders wrong and disrespected my wife. After we got the food I had to go back and get the orders made right, the woman taking the orders was so disrespectful yelling at me that I didn't do anything about it and that I should have said something sooner.

The best deal, the Cookout Tray.

I never…read morethought I find a better fast food burger and fires better than In-N-Out, but Five Guys is better. I am still trying to figure out if it is a good value, because this is not a cheap meal at all. Two bacon cheese burgers, two regular fries and two milkshakes, was almost $70.00. So yea, Five guys is great but is it $70.00 great? The wife and I ordered the same meal. Bacon Cheese Burger (all the way), regular fries, and milkshake. The burgers are double and huge and getting them all the way is the way to go. The fries are fresh greasy and yummy and OMG, they give you so much. The wife enjoyed her coffee milkshake, and I had to try (are you ready for this), their bacon milkshake because who doesn't love bacon. The Bacon milkshake isn't vanilla ice cream with some fake bacon flavor in it. No sir, it is vanilla ice cream with real bacon, miked in. Yea, this is something new, different and good. So after writing this review I have come to the conclusion that $70.00 Burger and fry meal for two is worth it at Five Guys. After all you get what you pay for.

The patties were made freshly. It was served juicy and hot. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were so fresh also!! The fries were crispy and hot. Do you know how many times I've gotten fast food and the fries are luke warm...a lot! Lol I've never written a review for a fast food place before, but the food, service and cleanliness of this place deserves an outstanding review!! It is a great team of workers here. Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.

It's refreshing to find a restaurant that's a little different from the usual fare and executes everything so well. The business has a small parking lot it shares with other businesses, there is also a small gravel lot beside it that you can park at. If you go at a busy time, parking can be a chore. Upon arrival, the business was busy with both inside and outside seating filled but we were seated immediately at a table with both bench and chair seating that shared the bench with other tables. There is also bar seating and you can sit at a high top that borders the brew stations. It took a few minutes for us to meet our server who took our drink orders. Soda for her and non-alcoholic IPA for me. It took our server a while to bring our drinks and she forgot my IPA so she had to go find it. Once we had our beverages, we ordered our food. We started with the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates - the dates are served on tooth picks and looked great but the blue cheese overpowered the flavor of everything else. My wife ordered the special of the day (not on everyday menu) which was shrimp tacos with a black bean pineapple salsa and house made chips and fries. I opted for the house burger with cheddar cooked medium and chips and fries. It took a long time for our food to come out and after observing our server chatting it with a table of her friends who were behind us, I am pretty sure she may have forgot to order it in a timely manner. When our food came it was auctioned off to us by another team member (no server to be found). My wife's tacos were overstuffed and fell apart. I tried one and the fried shrimp tasted really fishy to me, not like fried shrimp is supposed to taste. My burger was okay but nothing special. Really wanted to like this place but it did not live up to our expectations.
