This was our second visit. The first time, my husband and I sat at the bar and really enjoyed the experience. The drinks were amazing, and we loved the chips and salsa, so we were excited to come back and try the food. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The drinks were not good at all, which was surprising considering how much we enjoyed them the first time. The baked potatoes tasted old, although the refried beans, chips, and salsa were still very good. We also ordered the pizza. The flavor was actually good, but it was served cold. The cheese was still shredded and falling off, the meat was cold, and the shell was soft and mushy. I normally don't send food back or ask for it to be remade, but this time it was necessary because it simply wasn't enjoyable to eat. Overall, we left feeling very disappointed, especially after having such a great first experience. read more

We visited this place on Nov 19th, 2025 for lunch. The service was nice and pleasant. The ambiance and the atmosphere is very lively and bright. I totally liked it. Our server was very nice and kind. I had their mixed veggie Quesadilla and my wife had their vegetarian fajitas. Both of the dishes was very well done. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance of this restaurant. Service was terrible, didn't get any silverware because they were out. Took ten minutes to even get drinks people at table beside us dealt with same problem and walked out. Asked for more chips and salsa twice, never came. Server was hardly even seen. Just ridiculous. read more

Celebrated my birthday there. They have a huge room that accommodated two parties at the same time. The service was excellent considering we had a party of 18. The food was good. I shared Molejete Monterrey Steak, chicken, pork, chorizo and shrimp, grilled jalapeno, and cactus. Which was plenty for two people. read more

Went to 1800 Mexican restaurant for lunch. Walked in and was shocked by the vibrant atmosphere and hospitality. The bathrooms are very clean which I always appreciate. Chips and salsa came immediately. Very good quality salsa and the chips were crunchy and salty. The chorizo queso was some of the best I've ever had, lots of chorizo and pico was a fresh twist and not too greasy like some places. The steak nachos, fajitas and burritos exceeded my expectations and was some of the best Mexican food I've had. read more

I came here with a large group of about 25 people. I made it clear from the start I needed my check early so I could pay and leave on time. I asked for my check four times, at the beginning, during the meal, and again toward the end. The server ignored the request each time. Because of this, I was stuck waiting until the entire group paid. That defeated the whole reason I asked to pay early. I even missed getting my to-go tacos on time for my friend because of the delay. I have to say that presentation is 90% of most meals & this one knocked it out of the park then I tasted it and I tasted my wife's meal and they were wonderful. I think the margarita was too. I couldn't believe how good this place was considering the name. It was so close to the Highway as we were heading South on a long drive and this place was open till 10pm on a Sunday which was great. I loved the vibe inside and all the staff were so friendly. The mixed meat Queso was delicious, the shrimp cocktail was absolutely full of shrimp and was served in a massive glass. The coconut shrimp is so bomb! Their rice is pretty great, but the rest of the food is just a little beyond average... the first time I went there the chef was heavy handed with the salt but my second visit was a lot better. The margaritas are awesome, good portion and pretty strong. The horchata there is pretty good. This place is perfect for large parties, they have lots of seating and are pretty fast. read more

I stopped in for lunch while traveling 95 on a Saturday, it was fairly empty but a few tables were full. The service was very good, prompt and friendly. Food was delicious and hot. I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks and was not a fan at all, the taste was so bad but I would definitely stop in again for food. read more

It's actually a pretty nice place all the way around, but there is definitely room for improvement. The soups are very watery, like thrown together quickly. The beef and the chicken parts of the orders are often dry and tough. They also like to overcook the shrimp. Ambiance is very Mexican and service is snappy and friendly. The menu is quite large. I go there often. The chips and salsa are tasty and plenty. The margaritas are good and they will make them from scratch if you ask. The owners are charming and magnanimous and there is always more than enough staff. Parking lot is big and there is always space to park. The restaurant has two dining rooms, so I don't think they will ever run out of space. Go check it out! read more

The start of our experience wasn't very good because the girl answering the phone was very rude. I asked a question about an entrée as I had never been there before and she kind of laughed made me feel stupid.
