    Trash on floor and table
    Marta W.

Horrible!!! Went to drive-thru window at 6:50pm on a Sunday. The speaker was incredibly loud and garbled and the employee was hard to understand. Told him I was going to drive up to the window and he ignores me!! I had to ask him twice if he would take my order..he stares at me. I drove around to the parking lot and go inside. It's worse!! Trash flowing out of the trashcans, trash on the floor. Took pictures as proof. Went to counter to order and employee was rude! Placed order and she hands it to us..no thank you or any pleasantry. Went to car to eat...food was mediocre at best. What happened to this place? Who's in charge?? Just terrible....

Employee parking in both handicapped spots

Took forever to even get someone to come to the counter to take our order. The guy didn't say a single word. He just stood in front of the cash register and that's it. No greeting, no reading our order back, didn't tell the total, nothing. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food. Meanwhile we saw car after car after car go thru the drive thru getting their food and there were only 3 of us. When we finally got our food, 2 out of 3 orders were incorrect. They are not known for large portions, but only 3 onion rings? Really? And the amount of onion in the burger was more than the meat. We had been to this location before and someone was parked sideways in the 2 handicapped spots. We thought it was a one off situation but this time was the same thing. Is this what the employees think is acceptable?

Look like it was just balled up in the aluminum foil rather than wrapped.

Had the BBQ sandwich Cajun fries and a cherry cheesecake milkshake The BBQ sandwich was balled up in the aluminum foil. Cajon fries were just regular fries and the milkshake it was was good. when ever I have a first time bad experience at a location. I don't go back ever.

Oh man... Usually I love cookout to death. Going to eat there is something I look forward to very much. It's one of those rare food places I just am HAPPY to eat at. It's very filling and tasty fast food for cheap prices. However, my most recent visit with my girlfriend left us both very disappointed. You can look at the pictures I took - In the first picture we have my Cajun fries ruined with WAY too much seasoning. There was actually so much seasoning in my tray that it got on all my other food, spilled out of my try, and also got on to my girlfriend's food which was in a DIFFERENT tray but inside the same bag. So the fries were ruined and the rest of the food in the bag was made worse by this "mistake." And most of the other food was obviously rushed and undercooked anyway. It almost feels like it was done out of spite towards me and my girlfriend because if you take a look at my cheerwine float in picture number two, you can see the beverage looks like clumpy dishwater... It tasted like that too. So disappointing, I couldn't even finish it. Again, usually Cookout is great, like a 4 or 5 star visit. But this was just awful. All of the food was BAD, so bad it actually felt like this was done on purpose by a resentful employee. Because I love you most of the time Cookout, I wanted to bring this horrendous and out of character occurrence to your attention to maybe make sure this never happens again to anyone. This visit was an absolute waste of time and money and I hope they start picking up their act over on North Battlefield cookout.

Good food, good price. Fam of 4 fed on $18 with milkshakes. Tasty goodness. Very pleased with service, price and quality. Will come back.

Extremely rude workers and don't know how to talk to people. They also mess up orders a lot.

Chesapeake's…read morelittle town center area has really stepped their game up and there are several good options for food and this is one of them. Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall, and we were able to self seat a party of 7 with no problem at all on a Saturday evening. The service was doing their best, but they definitely could use one or two more employees because the person making all the desserts (and there was a line JUST for take out dessert orders- because it's that good) was also the same one that needed to take our orders before we could sit down. I felt bad for her because she was working really hard on two very busy stations. The ambience is super casual so no need to dress up. So now lests get to the star of the show. This is the best chicken sandwich out and I'll put it up against anyone I've had anywhere. Well seasoned, tender, perfectly fried. The buns were potato bread so super soft, the sauces are fantastic and the variety of sandwiches is just enough to have a good amount of options. The fries are also delicious. À la carte so they are sold separately, but the portion makes it worth it because THEY ARE NOT STINGY! Flavor packed and great value for the cost. Last but not least the homemade custard is TOP TIER. Best I've had since i left Jersey back in the day. This place just took the top spot for chicken sandwiches for me and i can't eat to try more flavors.

I love the selection of sauces, they really make the meal! The only negative thing about this restaurant is every time my husband gets a sandwich that comes out piping hot and my chicken tenders come out barely lukewarm. So much so we've once asked for replacements, which the staff was so great and accommodating. Very chill vibe, clean tables, and they're always playing great music. We always dine in when we stop by. The custard is also great! Love the sauces, love the sandwiches!

The wind from an incoming rainstorm knocked over the giant inflatable chicken outside. I made up my mind right then and there to stop by for a visit one day. When I finally got around to giving it a try, I dined in and was only semi-pleased. The staff were very nice, as the district manager was there at the time. The chicken itself can get quite chewy and hard to bite. The sauce is OK at best. The fries leave a little to be desired. The spiciness levels are very noticeable when requested at high volumes. I like that they offer slices of pickles with everything you order. The bread isn't too bad, as long as it's not soggy. When you order one of the Mozzarella Cheese Planks, they give it to you in a little box with a cup of sauce, a slice of bread, and a couple of pickles. I was not expecting it to have such a presentation and I have to admit, the charming nature of it almost brought a tear to my eye. It was just about the cutest damn thing I've seen in a long time. I mean, who thinks enough to do that!? Just pure thoughtfulness, that's what it was! It is VERY loud inside and the music choices aren't great. The interior is very flashy and riddled with graffiti-styled "Art". The one on Battlefield is a little better food-wise, I have to say. Which is disappointing. Maybe I'll give this one another try in the future. I still feel bad for the giant inflatable chicken that fell over in the parking lot that night. A force of nature shouldn't hinder the efforts of plastic poultry that's just trying to get the word out about Hot Dave and his line of spicy offerings.

I walked in love the vibes - the 1950s retro look - big lush booths. I ordered Freddy's original double combo with no mustard. The two steakburger patties with melty cheese, slices of red onion, and my favorite part of the burger - two long sandwich slides. As my side, I opted for the tater tots over the fries and it still included the signature fry seasoning. There are so many options to dip my tots in -- I grabbed my standard - ketchup, and I decided to try Freddy's signature fry sauces (the original, jalapeno, and smoky). Of the three fry sauces, my favorite was the smoky. I found myself dipping my tots for the smoky umami flavor. I finished the meal with the best cola ever - Pepsi!

The burgers are okay, but super bland no matter what's on them. The fries are some of the worst, most pathetic excuse for fries I've ever seen or had. They're like little grub worms. The custard is really good as are the ice cream sandwiches, but this location never seems to have the Oreo Sammies. Whether dining in, drive-thru, or pick-up orders, they always find a way to screw everything up. This location's been here for years and they still can't get their act together. It's also overpriced for what you get. The word "Value" has lost its meaning over the years and this place is an example of why and how. The cheese bites are pretty good, I have to admit. But they're not world-changing. The burgers have only as much flavor depending how much salt you put on them. Honestly, for any of their food to be flavorful, you'd need to put so much salt on it, that you'd be accused of preserving it for the winter. It's also too loud and RED in there. It's like if Target had a cousin in fast food.

You have claw machines, a British telephone booth, a bear brick painting painted like Iron man next to a neon "good vibes" sign and a large comfy sofa in the front in case you want to take a nap after eating their delicious chicken. Placing all judgment aside based purely on the aesthetic environment, this place makes some slamming soy garlic chicken and some tasty fries! That's all you need to know. Service was pleasant and the one gentleman seemed to be hustling bringing out people's food to their tables or calling out their numbers. The lady at the register kept the line moving. It wasn't busy when we initially ordered, but then there was an influx of customers out of nowhere! Initially I thought the price was kind of steep for 6 pieces of chicken but then I saw the size and they are huge! I added a side of fries and a drink and it came to a total of $17 and some change. If you dine in there are free refills. One of my friends came back to our table with a mini cup of ice cream. Apparently they have a freezer of ice cream and popsicles that are complimentary! So that was a nice added touch! They offer military discounts! Just show your ID! I asked. Not too soon after, I heard a gentleman that had purchased food prior to me comment out loud that he wish he knew that earlier. I just always try to ask wherever I go, the worst they can say is no. ‍ I don't go to Chesapeake often, but if i'm ever out this way, I would definitely stop by again. The entrance is a bit confusing when driving up. While it faces the main street of Battlefield Blvd you have to turn at the traffic light and go behind another building that's adjacent to it, just make sure you don't overshoot and miss the turn. This place seemed to have a lot of not so great reviews or were a mixed bag, but I figured it was at the point of I'm just going to figure this out myself and experience it. I'm glad I did.
