The people are so nice there! I had a big order and they were so courteous and friendly. The food was great and their sauce is the best. This is my family's favorite fast food spot.

My visits to the Raising Cane's Chesapeake location were two different experiences. The first was a solid 5. The second was rounded up to 4. The food was equally good both times. I chose the Chicken Tenders Box Combo both visits. It consists of 4 large pieces of tender juicy chicken & true Deep South Cole Slaw prepared with a light sauce, just like I grew up with. Also included were Crinkle Cut French Fries & awesome Texas Toast. I opted out of their Special Sauce, which I am told is delicious by those who like dipping Chicken Fingers. Lemonade, which is really good, was my drink choice. Perhaps the difference in the visits has to do with time of day. The first visit was mid afternoon, having had a doctor's appointment in close proximity. The personnel were friendly & welcoming. What must have been the manager told us we should come back the next week, on their First Anniversary. We decided to support the restaurant on their Anniversary, meeting friends who lived in Chesapeake. The drive from the Shore Dr corridor to Greenbrier at rush hour was much longer than anticipated. So it was in the midst of the dinner hour when we arrived. The restaurant was extremely busy. The staffing seemed similar to our mid afternoon visit, which wasn't quite adequate to handle the dinner hour level of business. It wasn't an Anniversary crowd. My Chesapeake friends indicated that the restaurant was always that busy. The food tray came so quickly that I was still talking to one of their pleasant personnel, maybe a manager. Although we were able to order quickly, very soon there was a long line snaking past our table towards the back of the store. I was shocked when we left the restaurant at the extremely long line of cars waiting to go through the drive thru. The parking lot of the restaurant didn't come close to containing it. Told that it was always like this, I understood that the staff must be struggling to handle that many customers at one time. One big complaint on my second visit is that one of their 2 unisex, spacious bathrooms was completely out of toilet paper & paper towels. The soap dispenser had the front taken off, obviously by a patron trying to find soap. The inside replaceable plastic bag of soap refills had been squeezed, obviously in an attempt to get the last of the soap remaining. I planned to tell an employee the state of that bathroom but they were so busy that I decided to just return to my table. Obviously this was a good location choice for a Raising Cane's. But I do think they should increase their staffing level during the busy dinner hours. The location was filled with framed Chesapeake History. It was fun to walk around and see the articles & pictures. One was even a page from the 1955 Oscar Smith High School Yearbook. I'll return to this location both for takeout after a doctor appointment or to meet my Chesapeake friends. But I'll definitely leave earlier or take a different route. And I look forward to the opening of their planned Lynnhaven location.

Raising Cane's in Chesapeake is consistently one of the best fast food spots in the area. The store is clean, nicely decorated, and always has a welcoming atmosphere. It's actually so pleasant inside that I often prefer to dine in because the drive-thru line tends to stretch out into the road due to its popularity. The service here is always friendly, fast, and enjoyable. The staff genuinely seem to care about creating a positive experience. As for the food, it's exactly what you'd hope for.

I recently tried Raising Cane's for the first time and went with the 3-Strip Combo. It came with three chicken tenders, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, and their famous Cane's Sauce. As a big chicken tender fan, I was not disappointed--the tenders were hot, juicy, and perfectly breaded. The Cane's Sauce added a delicious, tangy kick that I couldn't get enough of. So good! The cashier recommended I try an Arnold Palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea), and I'm so glad I did. It was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant was clean, and the whole team was incredibly friendly, from the greeting at the door to the quick service at the counter. Overall, I had a great experience!

Not getting what all the buzz is about. Overpriced, greasy chicken tenders served with soggy fries and Texas toast??? . Am I missing something? Is it simply the fact that they are open late? I mean there isn't even much variety on the menu either . For all the HYPE this was a very Underwhelming experience. Chicken was tough and greasy. I just don't get it.. I feel like my money was taken lol I was had yall. This was not worth $20 in my opinion ‍

Sorry I ate all the food before I could take a picture, too juicy and delicious!!

The food was amazing! I don't know what the cooks were on that day but the fries were crispy and well seasoned, the toast was just right, and the chicken were juicy and tender!! The service was mid, but the food made up for it. The ambiance is welcoming as the music and decorations were so fun and classic! I would could here again!!!!

Been to this Cane's a couple times and it always is delicious. I got a three finger combo with extra toast instead of fries and it hit the spot just right. I enjoyed looking at the art pieces inside while waiting for my food to come out, which didn't take long at all.

I ordered the 3-piece chicken tenders with a lemonade combo. The food was good, but my only downside was that it could have been a bit warmer. Service was great overall. The drive-thru was long, but the inside was beautiful--I really loved the artwork and atmosphere.

Fast service, tasty friend chicken in a moderate portion. Love the ambiance and creativity of the interior design.

I am so happy they put a Raising Cane's in Chesapeake. I went for opening day. I stood outside from 7:45 AM and I had a great time. I danced, sang, and even got a feee tshirt. I love Canes (as a ODU grad) and now there's one even closer to me! The service was great, as always.

As far as tenders go. It's up there with the best in fast food. Always hot, juicy, light and crispy. Love how you can swap any side you want. Texas roast is the kicker. Friendly staff, quick, and clean restaurant with a good vibe atmosphere. Love me some canes. This location is great!

So happy to have a Raising Cane's in Chesapeake! Came here for grand opening and it took us half an hour via drive thru, but it was worth the wait. The food tastes the same as the Cane's brand I love :) No complaints here. Make sure to get a Caniac Club Card and register for a rewards account. You get a free box combo reward 48 hrs after registering and validating your email address!

I came to get a rewards card that is about it but I did order just a 3 piece tenders only and a drink. There was no long line when I went in quick ordering and waited no less than 3 minutes for the bag. It was very busy, but it was fast and quick. I just didn't get ask for any sauce and I didn't think to check for sauces. The service was quite nice and helpful. It was nice and clean and spacious inside I like it. Will come back next time to try the cane sauce and toast for the combo box.

They always ONLY have one lane open for drive thru. That would be fine if the service was fast, NOT!

Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall, and we were able to self seat a party of 7 with no problem at all on a Saturday evening. The service was doing their best, but they definitely could use one or two more employees because the person making all the desserts (and there was a line JUST for take out dessert orders- because it's that good) was also the same one that needed to take our orders before we could sit down. I felt bad for her because she was working really hard on two very busy stations. The ambience is super casual so no need to dress up. So now lests get to the star of the show. This is the best chicken sandwich out and I'll put it up against anyone I've had anywhere. Well seasoned, tender, perfectly fried. The buns were potato bread so super soft, the sauces are fantastic and the variety of sandwiches is just enough to have a good amount of options. The fries are also delicious. À la carte so they are sold separately, but the portion makes it worth it because THEY ARE NOT STINGY! Flavor packed and great value for the cost. Last but not least the homemade custard is TOP TIER. Best I've had since i left Jersey back in the day. This place just took the top spot for chicken sandwiches for me and i can't eat to try more flavors.

You have claw machines, a British telephone booth, a bear brick painting painted like Iron man next to a neon "good vibes" sign and a large comfy sofa in the front in case you want to take a nap after eating their delicious chicken. Placing all judgment aside based purely on the aesthetic environment, this place makes some slamming soy garlic chicken and some tasty fries! That's all you need to know. Service was pleasant and the one gentleman seemed to be hustling bringing out people's food to their tables or calling out their numbers. The lady at the register kept the line moving. It wasn't busy when we initially ordered, but then there was an influx of customers out of nowhere! Initially I thought the price was kind of steep for 6 pieces of chicken but then I saw the size and they are huge! I added a side of fries and a drink and it came to a total of $17 and some change. If you dine in there are free refills. One of my friends came back to our table with a mini cup of ice cream. Apparently they have a freezer of ice cream and popsicles that are complimentary! So that was a nice added touch! They offer military discounts! Just show your ID! I asked. Not too soon after, I heard a gentleman that had purchased food prior to me comment out loud that he wish he knew that earlier. I just always try to ask wherever I go, the worst they can say is no. ‍ I don't go to Chesapeake often, but if i'm ever out this way, I would definitely stop by again. The entrance is a bit confusing when driving up. While it faces the main street of Battlefield Blvd you have to turn at the traffic light and go behind another building that's adjacent to it, just make sure you don't overshoot and miss the turn. This place seemed to have a lot of not so great reviews or were a mixed bag, but I figured it was at the point of I'm just going to figure this out myself and experience it. I'm glad I did.

After the delivery I realize the wings weren't there. I called and spoke to whoever that "personally packed and cooked my food". They bluntly told me I ordered what I ordered and that I didn't order wings. Even after I questioned about the sauce the guy dismissed me and kept it pushing. The food would have been good if he wasn't being a complete prick about the interaction. Didn't receive paid for sauce nor extra sauce for received items.
