    Cherry and Peaches

Returning to try the Cherry and Peaches add in was the best thing to do for giving another try at this place. So much better than before and was a delicious treat! Service is very friendly but there is a waiting time of 15 to 20 minutes due to waiting for the order to process depending on how busy the restaurant is. So go if there is a flexible schedule and not in a hurry. Overall the food was great and I enjoyed the flavours of Cherry and Peaches together. The fruit was very fresh. The ambiance is very casual and it can be crowded during rush hours, but busy is a great thing for business.

I really enjoy the butter burger which is just my size and always delicious. It taste like a real hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion on a toasted bun. There is plenty of comfortable seating in this very clean Culver's.

If you follow my feed you might get a hint that I have a little affinity for a good burger. When I make my greatest burger chain of all time incarnate list I'll be sure to add Culver's to it. Even-though it is not as easily found in the part of Texas I'm located in I must say that it is always worth stopping by. The environment is pleasant, the persons who work here are friendly and this place always has new mixtures of custards to make sure you never lose that weight

Stopped by at 3:45 PM on a Friday afternoon and they were busy. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were able to order straight away. There were several people waiting on takeout orders. Quite a few tables had not been wiped down so it took a minute to find a clean table. The food came out fairly quickly. The server was extremely nice. They forgot to give me my vanilla shake. When I brought it to her attention, she got it immediately. The food was good. One thing I like about Culver's is they always have the sauces you want. The hubby asked for cocktail sauce and I asked for Malt vinegar. They had both. Had Men & Women's bathrooms. Only two stalls in the women's and one was out of order. Hopefully, that will be repaired quickly.

Drive thru was crowded so we came inside. My first time at Culver's and they have such a wide variety of food on the menu. Rachel took our order and she was super knowledgeable about the menu. High energy. We ordered the veggie burgers which was sooo good, small but good. Fries with cheese sauce on the side. Cheese curds. Sweet tea. Everything was on point. Cute table decor.

We decided to stop in for burgers and milkshakes around 7:30pm after finishing up at the baseball park. After waiting about 15 minutes in the stand-still drive through line, literally not moving( which is becoming more and more common lately at this restaurant), we decided to try our luck getting out of the line and going inside. I'm pretty confident the pictures speak for themselves, but what's not pictured are the multiple staff members walking right by these messes over and over to deliver food to tables and run food out to cars waiting in the drive through line, only to pass the mess again on the way back to the kitchen to pick back up on the social hour happening behind the counter. When we first entered the restaurant, we waited a few minutes before someone finally poked their head around the corner from the drive through line area to acknowledge us, and after finishing the last bite of food she just put in her mouth and the conversation she was deep in with other staff when we walked up, proceeded to come out to take our order. If I had to guess, there were maybe 10-12 staff who were visible from the ordering counter, including the kitchen staff, drive through staff, and "runners". Of those, maybe 6 or more were congregating at the drive through window having loud conversations amongst themselves and often laughing very loudly. We continued to hear them throughout the restaurant from the dining area as we ate our meal. On numerous occasions I watched staff walking in and out the main entrance (while wearing their meal prep gloves) to get a glimpse at the drive through line, which remained wrapped around the building from the time we bailed on it to the time we finished our meal and left the restaurant, still barely moving (I wonder why). Two different staff members were also witnessed grabbing a wet cloth to wipe down maybe 4 tables total (almost as if to only meet their assigned quota), continuing to ignore the trash all over the floors and in the self-service drink area. Fortunately for this visit, our food was good quality, however there were multiple items missing from our order when it was delivered to our table. It seems that over the past 6 months or so, this particular Culver's has gone downhill and fast. The service has dropped off tremendously from when it first opened, and it appears that it's primarily being run by teenagers. If you're looking for a good fast food burger or ice cream, this Culver's still delivers, but if you're looking for quality/efficient service and a clean restaurant, you may want to take your business elsewhere.

A four star with grace, rather than a three star. I was…read moresurprised to walk into this seemingly "fast food" restaurant to see a sign that said, "please wait to be seated." Wow! Not even ordering at the counter and getting a number, but a legit throwback to the old timey diner approach where the order is taken at the table. Which is great except it took five minutes from our entry in the restaurant to taking our order (or any attention). But there was the floor manager and one person waitstaff and in my opinion, the waitress was hustling and her "boss lady" was not, but the boss lady was delivering the food orders. We were concerned about the wait time since there were four or so tables that came in around the same time and the staff sort of acted surprised that lunch hour was upon them. At any rate, we did order 5 minutes post arrival and drinks came 6 minutes after ordering them and another 9 minutes the food arrived. For those of you keeping score at home, it was 20 minutes from arrival at the restaurant to arrival of the food, or 6 minutes from ordering until food was served. Which is pretty good. I noted all of this since it was a sit down and order process and I was curious how the timing would stack up on that. Under the short staffed circumstances, I was impressed. Which is why I went the extra star instead of dinging them on the initial time thing, but I will say that at first we considered bolting for another restaurant because we didn't know how much longer this was going to take. Good recovery, though! The restaurant was playing low volume country music and they have really good brewed iced tea. We were done all total and comfortably within 36 minutes and that is important for the lunch hour crowd. Even served a "to go" iced tea. "When in Rome....", so of course, my order was the signature "Steakburger, Original Double with Cheese." This features two thinly smashed steak patties, American cheese, pickle slices, onion, ketchup, and mustard on a toasted bun. Maybe they invented the smash burger, it certainly tastes like that, man is that a good burger! The meat is smashed on the grill to give a lacy, crunchy edge to the patty for what they call a "signature texture", and now I call it that too. It is made from freshly ground, higher end cuts of beef, hence the "steak" part of the "steakburger." The fries were as advertised, shoe-string, with slight crunch exterior, soft interior and cooked in 100% beef tallow. Very good, but they are all random sized, so eating them in bunches is more challenging. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and speed and can see this being a regular burger joint for us.

Not only do we enjoy their Steakburgers and shoestring fries but there is a bit of nostalgia involved as we used to go to SnS occasionally when we were dating (and wanted something "fancy" ). So, we were happy to drive a few miles out of our way on the way home from Atlanta in order to dine here. Interior is typical red, black and white "50's diner" vibe (the restaurant started in 1934 and has lots of vintage black and white photos on the walls). Our local SnS restaurants tended to have a "covered in a light layer of grease" feel and this location did as well. It also had a somewhat unpleasant odor noticeable upon entering, stale grease or something like that. I was so happy they were open it was something I was willing to overlook. We were greeted and seated immediately and our order taken promptly. Service was friendly and cheerful. Food arrived quickly, hot and fresh. My garlic double steak burger (thin patties) was delicious, with garlic sauce and topped with garlic butter. Fries were crispy-not-crunchy. Happy to have my Steak n Shake itch scratched for the time being.

Dumont Creamery & Café did exactly that for my wife and I last week. I'd heard about it but thought, "It's ice cream, how different can it really be?" Turns out, very. The staff were fantastic from the moment we walked in; warm, welcoming, and eager to offer samples. The owner took time to share information and helped us choose the Kheer and Hokey Pokey flavors, both of which were outstanding. We also tried a couple of macarons, and they were great as well.
