Reservations are highly recommended. It was a busy Thursday at 6:30pm and the place was literally packed, even the bar. The two of us were seated in a large, dark, alcove booth fitting for six or perhaps even eight. We had a reservation, so the hostess said, "we may as well fill it" since it was that crowded. Being such, it was five minutes before we were noticed and placed our drink orders, another five before our water arrived and we ordered and about 30 minutes later to get our food. In between we were left to ourselves. The service was not negligent, but it was minimal and not really friendly either. It was a busy night, so we will have grace. But the mussels were delicious. We both had the Provincale, a rich, savory, Mediterranean sauce of tomatoes, garlic and white wine. River Streets Sweets has some unique flavors that I have never heard of before, such as Bear Claw, Blueberry, Hazelnut Coffee Crunch, and Pink Grapefruit.
