Then, I went to the drink machine, and noticed that the back of the ice dispenser appeared to be dirty. The Shaniac Burger is a 1/2 lb. tasty cheeseburger complemented with a massive amount of tender pulled pork and delicious coleslaw. We ordered this as a combo meal, with golden brown fries and a thirst-quenching Coke! Value-wise, this was a perfect choice. Satisfaction-wise, it was insanely EXCELLENT! It was too much to eat all at once, and I was hungry going in! Thank you, SHANE'S for NOT SKIMPING on ingredients and quality! They packed in plenty of pleasantly sweet pickle chips in the mix. I have never walked out of a restaurant crying until now. I explained my order to the staff member at the register and when I received my food it was wrong. They apologized and said "sorry, we lost your ticket". So I explained exactly what I wanted once again... which was not difficult to begin with. Loaded fries... sub bbq sauce instead of Buffalo. They bring me back another order that's still completely wrong. So I go to the front counter to explain again.... The cooks in the back begin yelling about me so disrespectfully and distastefully. We checked our bank account and the charge for the order went through so we called the store and spoke with the manager. He was not very nice and refused to help with the situation and when we asked why our money wasn't refunded he said we would have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund even though the order was canceled. We later received an e-mail from Shane's saying the order was canceled by the Powdersville store and they would look into it for the reason it was canceled. The food is very affordable and I love the deals they send to texts on my phone. Everything I've tried has been good. I'd you are a regular I recommend signing up for getting the texts at the register. When ordering carryout to grab something during my lunch break, I wish they would go ahead and put my drink together for me instead of giving me an empty cup. I had to wait behind three older people at the drink machine that were enjoying their day out at a slow pace. I had to get back to work and still try to have time to eat in the time I had left on my break. The food is fantastic though. But aside from the food, the floor is always sticky. I have seen small kids that weren't being watch by their parents try pouring their drinks out into the rubber mat under the sweet tea containers because they thought it was a drain. The pulled pork actually doesn't have a ton of flavor on its own, but you have the option to add one of their four different bbq sauces, which make a big difference. The sandwich I got came on Texas Toast, so while it was good, it was covered in butter so if you eat it with your hands, they will be super greasy!! Their cole slaw was a unique texture; very blended, but I think that made it better. I've also tried the house salad, which is basically iceberg lettuce with a couple slices of cucumber, tomato, and lots of cheese and comes with their prepackaged dressings. My favorite so far, though, was their honey bbq boneless wings! They were just sweet enough with sauce that doesn't fall off, and the wings themselves were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. read more
