Strange spot. When we walked in there were no menu signs anywhere. We get to the cashier after waiting for the person in front to order and the cashier worker tells us we can scan the QR code that's on a piece of paper taped to the counter and she tells us to step aside until we're ready to order. That was fine. BUT you get zero service inside. After a few minutes of trying to figure it out we wait behind someone ordering (again) to tell the cashier that we don't have service THEN she tells us there's a (small print) below the QR code with the wifi password... at that point my husband just wanted to order and asked if all of the grilled cheeses were out since there were 2 pieces of paper taped to the front of the POS system that said "out of grilled cheese", the cashier worker just ripped off the paper and said "oh they were defrosting" and we can order some. Sooooo we ordered a side of mac and cheese, fries, and a burger, they were ok (hence the 2 star review) despite the fact that they sell frozen food? Overall, food was ok, the milkshakes did look good when I saw people order them, but the service is pretty bad and the lack of menus anywhere is really odd. My family and I are in town for sports tournament and we stopped by for burgers. Our burgers were good we got the Betty White and kid's cheeseburger. Buns were soft which is important to me, nice size burgers 8oz and kids burger was smaller but still a nice size! Fries were just ok for me. We got loaded fries and it had a slice cheese. Fries had a garlic butter on them and my husband liked it. Fries still were just ok to me. My husband and son got some of the cookie dough and said it was good. My other son said the shake was very good, he only drinks vanilla shakes but he compared it to really good soft served ice cream. Staff was nice. Place is small and seat yourself, but on a summer wed night (7pm) ended up clearing out quicker than we expected and our food didn't take that long either. I would come back. read more

My family and I ate at Cookie Dough Monster twice in 48 hours when we were in town last week. The food, desserts, and staff are amazing! My husband loved the Betty White burger and fries, which were perfectly seasoned. My daughter and I had the Classic Melt (grilled white American cheese on sourdough) and it was fabulously buttery and cheesy. The side caesar salad was really good (crispy croutons, great dressing). Only the mac & cheese was slightly disappointing, as it was rather bland. The highlight is, of course, the variety of desserts. You can choose from ice cream, shakes, and cookie dough. We tried the chocolate banana shake, the animal cookie shake, the banana pudding shake and the cake batter shake - all delicious! Each shake is topped with a tasty treat (for example, vanilla wafers on the banana pudding shake), and the staff do a terrific job of blending the shakes thoroughly, filling the cup all the way to the top, and making it look beautiful. We also got cookie dough to go - sugar cookie, chocolate chip, animal cookie, and birthday cake - and these were such a fun, different, and tasty treat! When I found out this place had a burger named after Betty White, I knew this was a must- eat place when we were in the area last week. I was definitely not disappointed! We each got something different and it was all absolutely delicious! The burgers were rather large and very tasty. One kid got the shells with marinara and the other got the corn dog bites and they devoured them and said they were the best they ever had. And that was just half of the meal! We also got some of the cookie dough bites, they were really big and they had a lot of flavors. They were the perfect end to the meal. The staff was all really nice and helpful to first timers. We came here after a sweet tooth craving we had after doing some shopping in the area while in town. As the name suggests, we came here for the cookie dough. I was never a fan of edible cookie dough as it makes my stomach hurt as it's so heavy and seems to be so much sweeter than a cookie for some reason. That being said, I wanted to give this place a try. We tried a few of the flavors and honestly, only one or two really caught my eye from being unique. We went with two different flavors in the cookie dough and then got a couple of baked cookies. The baked cookies were delicious, but again, the cookie dough ended up being too much for me (even though I have a sweet tooth and love cookies). The options were great and the service was patient as it took us forever to order since there were so many options. I'd be back, but I'll stick with the baked cookies for me! read more

Ignore them and keep moving, things get better...a lot better. My kids both ordered the meatball grilled cheese. It was fantastic. It smelled very much like a pizza when you first get it. The mac&cheese side was also very good. The kids ate everything! A good sign that it's pretty darn good. My wife had the borsin burger which I think was the better of our two meals. I got the CBR chicken sandwich. It was good but the burger was better. We both got onion rings as a side. They were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy on the outside but buttery soft sweet onion on the inside. Loved them. I got a cookies&cream shake that we shared around the table. Again, they hit it out of the park! It's a little pricier than Popeyes, Burger King, etc. If that's what you are looking for then keep driving. The food is really good and isn't overpriced. Just not a fast food joint. At last note, the music might be a little heavy if you have really little kids. Nothing offensive just a bunch of younger guys having a good time cooking good food and listening to music they like. This place opened June 1. We were looking for some place not quiet sit down, but not fast food. This was a gem and I hope more people find it. I asked as we were leaving if there was anything they didn't make fresh and the woman couldn't think of anything. From the variety of grilled cheese selections to the fresh salads (I recommend the chef), there was nothing we didn't enjoy. The assortment of cookies were wide ranging and are $7 for a dozen. And the beauty of the egg free cookie dough options is my kids could get a dessert to bring back and put in the frig. My next visit will include a milkshake, which I was told are fantastic. Within walking distance to the LeConte Center and the Island, this is an excellent alternative to the food choices on the Island. We will be back. read more

Employees were friendly. The menu is huge so be ready to make tough decisions. The burger was good but nothing I'd order again. I don't care for the flavor of the beef. The fries were great but ketchup was a little sweet. I don't know if it's made in house. The sweet tea was probably the star of the show.
