    Spicy chicken and waffles.

First time eating here. The pork belly breakfast tacos are good but I'll get the ham and cheese omelette next time. The chicken and waffles was really good. The coffee was weak and not something I'll order again. The waitress was great. They provide a military discount which is nice.

Cute artwork and sayings around the restaurant.

Great food and eggs done right. Excellent service and very whimsical atmosphere. Great little restaurant.

Same owners who own Crockett's next door own this place. It has a totally different menu, and it all sounds good. My husband & I arrived around noon, so we were in the mood for lunch type food. We opted for the signature Bloody Mary, Rueben with home fries, and Pork Belly tacos. We were pleased with our choices and would order all of them again. But, we're anxious to come back and try other things on the menu. Good food, great service, and comfy atmosphere. Note: Menu pics taken from online source.

A great new breakfast spot in the area! There was no wait around 9am and the staff was friendly. Our waiter, Will, was very attentive and kind. I like that they serve alcoholic beverages and my mimosa was delicious! The South of The Border omelette was huge and tasty! My husband enjoyed that they serve lunch for breakfast too and he enjoyed his smash burger and fries. Definitely the place to go for great portions, no wait time, & quick service!

Amazing food!! Doesn't break the bank either. I had the shrimp and grits which were spot on!! My wife had the pork belly tacos which were just as amazing. Definitely recommend Over Easy Al's.

We visited Great Smoky National Park and wanted to grab a bite after. We settled on Over Easy Al's - very large interior, lots of seating, a bar and kitchy egg farm decor. The staff was right on top of things with fast service. The table ordered: corned beef hash - large chunks of bold corned beef was amazing (meat was a 4) but hard as a rock poached eggs, The server provided another poached egg but the yellow part must have fallen out because all I had was the white part. I wasn't going to ask for another. The breakfast sandwich with grits - a solid 4. The chicken salad croissant was ok and the Eggs Benedict was good but also had one poached egg that was absolutely over done. Asked for another one for the eggs Benedict and the second came out better. I think the cooks were in a hurry and didn't take the time to provide the proper way to poach an egg! The interior was clean and open.

Love this place. The service was excellent. The menu really does have something for everyone and it's mighty creative as well for those who like things like funnel cake nachos.

Avocado toast with a sprinkle of hair

This is our first time coming to Tennessee and wanted to try a good breakfast spot. We were enjoying our food until realizing there's like lent and hair in our food. Then observing the atmosphere it seems segregated as if the waiters are sitting all of the black people on the opening area and the white people in house.

    Chicken and waffles

Our first visit to Over Easy. The restaurant itself was clean and bright. No sticky nasty menus you would expect at a travel location. Service was prompt and courteous. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the stuff French toast with cream cheese pumpkin filling with a side of bacon. Bacon was fairly standard and good. The French toast was a good hefty portion with lots of filling. Chicken and waffles also a good portion. The waffle itself probably couldn't stand on its own as it didn't quite have the vanilla sweetness I would expect. The chicken by itself was crispy and had a good flavor but the hot honey was nearly undetectable. The French toast was extremely sweet and tasted wonderful but I'm a morning sweets person and that's what I expect. Overall I'd give this a solid "will visit again" and a good alternative to its sister restaurant next door Crocketts. We also had a shareable fried deviled eggs that were pretty good.

Food and service was excellent. For a new breakfast place in Gatlinburg, I highly recommend it, our server Tania was the absolute best.

There was tons of yummy corn, beef, brisket, and they were nice enough to put my thousand island on the side because the sandwich is huge. I couldn't finish it there. The potato salad I ordered on the side was delicious, it had some bacon in it, and it was more savory forward in it, Amish style potato salad that has some sweet relish. Which I enjoyed a lot! Now the sandwich wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it, and we luckily got some seating and some rest from the rain while enjoying our really good food! My boyfriend got the Cuban, he was a bit worried because he hadn't had the sandwich before, but I knew he would like it so I ordered it for him and someone ate their entire sandwich (not me) so let that speak for itself! They make sure to pile those sandwiches high with meat, and they move so quickly our food came out, not even 10 minutes after we put our orders in and we were starving so it was much appreciated after walking the strip in Gatlinburg. I shared a Crab Cake Po'Boy with hubs. The sandwich was a daily feature and huge. Really huge. And delicious. My brother had the Oyster Po'Boy that I highly recommend. I tasted the large succulent, hand breaded oysters. This is the sandwich that makes you want to make the trip to Gatlinburg. My daughter and SIL had a half Muffalatta sandwich, which was huge and fresh packed with olives, meats, cheese and other good stuff. The kids shared a fish platter which came with a huge fried white fish and home fries. They actually ate their whole plate. The kid's meals are awesome. This is possibly the best cafe in Gatlinburg. We started out with fried green tomatoes and then hit the very interesting salad bar. That alone was worth the trip. My wife had the soup and salad combo with crab bisque being the soup. She said the soup was quite good. I ordered the New York Strip steak and added a skewer of shrimp. Here is where things go slightly sideways. The food runner brought my steak and it was a ribeye instead of a strip. I sent it back since it was not what I ordered.
