Not only do you get to pick out some amazing flavors of cookies that go into the boxes, but they even printed out custom cards with our logo and a note that went on each box. A few weeks ago I saw a bunch of food bloggers that I follow post about Cookie Good and all the unique flavored cookies they offer; so naturally, I wanted to go to experience them too. I found parking right in front of the cookie shop and put 15 mins. in the meter. Upon walking in, the shop is very small. Just the counter, some bar seating, and then the rest is the prep and baking area. It's cool that they use glass so that you can kind of see what's going on in the back. Cookie Good seems pretty popular, there were always at least 2 customers in line while my best friend were in there enjoying our sweets at the bar stool seating. The cookies were definitely unique, cheetos, frosted flakes, salted caramel & pretzel, smores, banana blondie, brownie, etc. I ended up ordering a Salted Caramel & Pretzel per Yelpers' suggestion and a banana blondie. The cookies and bars are about $2 each. Tbh, I wasn't in love with either item I got. The cookie was good but there was a lot going on. Lots of texture and then sweet but salty... maybe i'm just not a huge salty & sweet combo kind of girl. The banana blondie texture was not what I was expecting (like many other reviewers). It's more of a dense cake. While very moist and airy I think I prefer denser baked goods if there are going to be banana flavored. Would I come back? Probably not. I think I prefer Milk Jar Cookies more. But if you like unique and adventurous cookies check out Cookie Good. They also sell "cookie milk" and flavored popcorn. They do give samples so if you are interested, don't hesitate to ask. I got to sample the popcorn and it was pretty good. I didn't purchase any though because it's a tad bit pricey. read more

Really enjoy Cookie Good! Haven't had an opportunity to visit the storefront yet but have tried their delivery and if somebody brings them around the office. They're very good! I love the classic chocolate chip. It's gooey and chewy. I also really enjoy that they have a lot of fun other flavors to check out including birthday cake and caramel pretzel-- both which I really have loved. All very reasonably priced. And this is coming from someone who loves baking and makes her own cookies, so the fact that I make the drive over to Santa Monica from Pasadena just to grab these cookies means they're something special. Their claim to fame - the Cheetos cookies, are seriously good and I've bought them for many friends to try. It's something you must try, even if you're tentative and scared, the cheddar crumbs somehow work with the sugar cookie so well. It's one of my favorite cookies. And the consistency of all the cookies are just chewy and light and delicious. I also like how many different flavors there are. The pancakes and bacon with maple syrup glaze is a tad too sweet for me, but it works together and the bacon bits are so yummy with the maple. The churro one is good too! I haven't tried the brownies or bars, so I can't comment on those. It's a small shop and difficult to find parking out front, but a sweet ambiance and worth it for the cookies. I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I just can't. We purchased a dozen cookies, so we could try a wonderful selection. Of the 12, we actually bought 7 different kinds but some were in pairs. That being said, of the 7 varieties, we only LOVED one, and that was the Caramel Pretzel Chocolate Chunk cookie....... that was 5 stars for sure. Maybe even a 6 if I could....it was CRAZY DELICIOUS !! We also liked the Cinnabun and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch with actual pieces of that cereal in the dough, pretty darn good. You know what the problem was with the other cookies? I hate to say it, but they just didn't snap, crackle or pop with flavor (figuratively speaking, of course). I hate to sound like the all-knowing baker, but when this happens, the lack of salt is usually the culprit.... even just a pinch of that makes baked goods come to life with flavor. Yes, I've watched too many episodes of the Barefoot Contessa, but I know from my own experiences, and missing salt is the key every time. The reason we loved the Caramel Pretzel cookie is because there was a salt component to it just by virtue of its ingredients. Even the 2 cinnamon cookies we liked, they were missing the salt too, I presume, but it's difficult for me to deny anything with cinnamon in it. I know the owner reads the reviews, and maybe I'm wrong, but I think that's what the problem is. I really enjoyed conversing with the owner, I loved what she was attempting to do with her cookie biz, I loved how great the cookies looked and the uber cleanliness of her storefront. I loved all the details down to a little paper insert with check marks of what cookies we ordered. Sure enough, by the time we got home, I forgot what I had ordered..... so there was the sheet to remind me. Made me smile. Nice touch !! The other flavors we tried were Chocolate Chip Brownie Chunk, Pancakes and Bacon (for my hubby only), S'Mores and Just Plain Sugar. We didn't try the brownies/blondies, but they all sounded/looked good. She even has 4 beverages that were made to taste like their namesakes.... in liquid form. She had frosted flakes, mud pie.... I tried that one, and although it was too sweet to get an entire cup of that, I at least got to taste it. If you love ultra sweet liquids, you will love these. The other 2 flavors of that were a banana cream pie and chocolate with peanut butter cups. I still awarded 4 stars because I could tell the owner really pours her heart and soul into what she does, the quality is still excellent...... I just didn't like whatever was missing in the cookies we tried..... whether it was salt or something else. I wanted 30 cookies for my husband's 30th birthday and they were accommodating and gracious. For a small fee, they delivered straight to the door with a little note. My husband thought it was a novel and moving surprise. A box of cookies is a great gift for any occasion and a nice change of pace from the usual and trite bouquet of flowers. Even though I bought the box the Saturday after Valentines Day they still had some of the V-day flavors available. I also got some of the daily flavors. The bf and I agree that the white chocolate raspberry cookie was the best thing in that box. Real bits of raspberry!! The Cheeto cookie is actually pretty good. He was nervous to try it, I was excited--and I think he liked it more than I did. Tasted like a sugar cookie with a slight salty/Cheeto hint to it. I don't think you can go wrong with trying anything here. Also the staff is super friendly and patient, even over the phone. A box of 2 dozen is definitely too much for two people, but I got overzealous since not having a "real" cookie/brownie/sweet in so long. Who knew cookies could be so darn GOOOOOD!? A couple months ago, a drug rep brought a box of these delicious cookies to our office, and they were a huge hit with everyone. I got to eat bits of each flavor, and I was blown away with how many unique ones there were. Not just your typical chocolate chip or white chip macadamia, mind you. Rocky Road, S'mores, Red Velvet, Circus Animals, Cowboy, Caramel-Pretzel-Chocolate Chunk, Apple Pie.. just to name a few. Aside from the delicious flavors, the texture of the cookie was also perfect. Slightly crunchy on the edges, and chewy in the center. Perfection. Because of the awesome packaging, on top of the box, there was a card with all the flavors we got marked off. The name "Cookie Good" was smack center, and I knew I had to bookmark it because that was not going to be my last time eating those cookies. Since I work nearby in Santa Monica, I waited for a day where I'd get off work early so I could just stop by here after work. Visiting the actual store was awesome! Cookie Good is more than just cookies. They got brownies/bars and MILK! (Milk as in dairy, not MILK the LA ice cream store) They have your average whole and almond milk, and then some flavored ones, like S'mores. I got to try some samples, and it was pretty good. (: Flavors change often, but you can check out their website to see what's baking now. My current top three favorites are probably Cowboy, Caramel-Pretzel-Chocolate Chunk, and S'mores... but that may change as I get to try more of their flavors. The employees at Cookie Good are really nice they are accommodating. I called there once every day for 4 days asking if they had rice crispy treat cookies and they said no but every time I could tell they felt really sad for me lol. They have over 70 flavors which is why the flavors switch out. That's a good thing and a bad thing. Good because I try flavors I've never had bad because rice crispy is gone. I looked inside and one of the the owners, Melanie asked me to come in so there I was, in cookie heaven! The variety of creative buttery sweet salty, chocolaty, peanut, pretzel flavors- you name it are so deliciously decadent its pretty much impossible to eat just one. Their packaging is so cute and non-commercial it would make for a nice gift when you come to a friends house or place of business. First off, I have to say that Ross is extremely polite and is very accommodating. After a failed order attempt, we found another reason for a coworker celebration (aka excuse to buy delicious sweets). After exchanging a handful of e-mails back and forth, I finally managed to order a semi-customized assorted dozen. When our boss returned with the box of cookies, I was impressed. They were neatly wrapped up bow and all, and we ended up with 2 of each of the following flavors: red velvet, caramel pretzel, s'mores, lucky charms, circus animal and jr mint. The latter were individually wrapped, I assumed to keep the mint flavor separate? I quickly snatched up the circus animal flavor, since I am addicted and will get them at yogurtland every time!! Amazingly, the cookie tasted just like the circus animal plastered on top...somehow the sugar cookie with the white chocolate chips and the nonpariels all managed to replicate the flavor precisely. Not to be greedy, I split one of the Lucky Charms cookies with my neighbor, and that one was as true to the original as the circus animal. The "oaty" cookie really does taste like the cereal bits, and the marshmallow bits are still crunchy in the cookie! Didn't get to try the rest of the batch, but everyone who had one raved about how good it was. Safe to say there wasn't a bad apple in the bunch. Cookies are one of my favorite treats to eat because they are small and hopefully packed with a lot of flavor. Good things do come in small packages :) The cookies at Cookie Good do not disappoint. The texture of the cookies are firm but still chewy and soft, which is how I prefer cookies. I think I've had at least half of all the flavors they offer here. I believe they change the menu of cookies they offer every week. I'd say my favorite go pancakes and bacon, chocolate chip, cinnabun, and sour cream coffee cake. Others I've had and thought were good and recommend are: Birthday cake, caramel pretzel chocolate chunk (I believe this is the one people know them for) chocolate chip brownie chunk, cookiemonster, churro, cinnamon toast crunch, smores, coconut cake, crumb cake, strawberry pop tart, and cocoa krispies. Ones I didn't care for were red velvet, strawberry shortcake, peach cobbler, ice cream sundae, chocolate peanut butter cup, Cheetos, and Apple Jacks. And that made me sad because I love these flavors. The cookies are good just not what I expected. The red velvet unfortunately tasted like a chocolate cookie. to me when I hear red velvet I want the tanginess of cream cheese somewhere, and this has no cream cheese! I also love to eat strawberry shortcakes but the texture of this cookie was super soft and it fell apart in my hand and the taste was a little too sweet. The peach cobbler was a overall good cookie but it didn't remind me of a peach cobbler -- I'd say it was like eating a good sugar spice cookie. Ice cream sundae sort of reminds me of birthday cake. Chocolate PB cup -- if you like chocolate and PB, you'll like it --it's just I've never cared for chocolate PB cookies. The Apple Jacks had a hint of the cereal taste but not memorable. The Cheetos has a hint of the taste but other than that I didn't think it was all that great of a cookie -- Cheetos should just stay as a chip From what I've been reading you're either a Cookie Good person or Milk Jar person. Milk Jar is another popular place and I do like their cookies too but if I had to choose I'd go to Cookie Good. Milk Jar cookies are bigger (but do cost more), the flavor of the cookies taste more mild compared to Cookie Good, and I'd say the texture of Milk Jar cookies are closer to soft baked cookies (and I like my cookies to have a bit more firmness). read more

I'm pretty bummed that this establishment operates like this. I get that it's COVID but most restaurants and establishments still have walk-in ordering. Driving all the way from LA with traffic is not fun but I'm willing to do it for this place. Disappointing. read more

I drive by here almost every day and have often wondered... What do they sell? Just kidding, it's Cookies. Obviously. But other questions have popped into my mind like "How good ARE their cookies?" and "Are they better or worse than Mrs. Fields?" Yesterday, I found out the answers to my questions, which were "Delicious" and "Yes!" respectively. I'll be honest, I was a little skeptical when I walked into the store and saw that one small/medium size cookie cost almost 2 dollars. Could they really be that good? I stepped into the store, which also has a counter with seats where you can enjoy your sweet snack, and the smells of deliciousness overwhelmed me. There were so many luscious looking cookie options to choose from (the pretzel caramel which they are known for, the standard chocolate chip cookie, you get the picture). I chose the chocolate chip brownie bite cookie - with chunks of brownie actually baked into the cookie, and once I took a bite was transformed into a believer. I'm salivating just writing about it. And yes their cookies are worth every penny. And I am now a believer not only in the power of the cookie in general, but in the power of feeling "cookie good." I'll be back at Cookie Good for sure, eating my way through their many offerings. Now the only question is, which cookie do I try next? read more

These are hands down the best cookies on the west side. Their sea salt chocolate pretzel cookie is out of this world as is some of the old classics like chocolate chip and sugar cookies. You really cannot go wrong here and you can always try flavors out in the shop if they have something new. They also take the time to mark the cookies in the box you buy if you get an assortment which is nice so you don't forget what you bought! read more
