Shockingly delicious gas station cookies! My favorite has to be the millionaires shortbread, which is kind of like a Twix bar. I've tried a few other cookies here, and I'm a bit of a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, and I personally find their chocolate chip cookie to be average. But the millionaires, billionaires, whatever it is shortbread is an amazing cookie. Certain to satisfy the sweetest of tooths. :B

Pulled into a gas station in LA... not for gas, but for cookies. Now that's my kind of fill-up. Zooey's is tucked inside on the right-hand side, and it's a fun little surprise. Small setup, but they've got a solid lineup--probably 20 to 30 different cookie options, all looking fresh and ready to go. I went with a few chocolate chip variations (had to stay in my lane), and they delivered. Good flavor, nice consistency, and honestly a great price for what you get. With gas prices these days, you're basically looking at almost two cookies per gallon... and I'll take cookies every time. A couple leaned slightly toward that "store-bought" texture, but still very enjoyable overall. It's not cracking my top five on the elite cookie tour, but my cookie quest continues--and this one is definitely worthy of a stop. Fun experience, solid cookies, and a much better kind of fill-up. Go for it. Fill 'er up.

We love Zooies. They have the best cookies and brownies. They even have vegan cookies and it hard to tell the difference. The place is just adorable and it smells like heaven inside. There is not one thing that is not made fresh with great ingredients. You can tell by the taste. It is always clean and they have a great selection. You just go to the counter and order what you want. We always take a box home. Their brownies are so great and just packed with flavor. The location is cute and parking is not too bad. Their chocolate chip cookies are our favorite. They also make very unique cookies and they are great. Their prices are fair and the service is so nice. They are fast and will take good care of you, so go there and blow the diet.

    Morning Glory, Gooie, Pumpkin Cookie

Would I brave this hectic gas station lot to get Zooies? Heck yeah.. anything to get that delicious Morning Glory cookie. I've been hooked on these cookies for years and the cravings hit quite often. These are truly my favorite cookies in LA. The Gooie is perfectly soft in the middle and crispy on the edges. I love that these cookies aren't too sweet, especially the Morning Glory so I can even eat them for breakfast. The staff is always so friendly (and kind when I call to see if they have certain cookies in stock). The store is very clean and bright, and feels separate enough that it doesn't feel like it's in a gas station. I've given these as gifts before and brought them to parties (they have cute boxed packaging). My friends have gotten hooked on them and made Zooies our go-to cookie joint.

Only having one outlet in LA makes Zooies kinda standout to me especially knowing they're pretty popular. Beyond that obviously the fact that it's located in a gas station. Won't complain though as it's killing two birds with one stone, getting your car fueled and so do you. The variety of flavors are huge, feels like it can serve any kind of preferences. Their classic top 3 however stays strong as the must-try I think, the Gooie, the Chewie and just the basic brown butter chocolate chip. I did try the Cloud 9, Strawberry Cheesecake, Panda, and some more before but finding myself still came back to those 3. They worked best for my palate both texture and flavors. The service was always super swift as everything's mostly ready to grab. No space fot dine-in as it's literally like your gas station quick convenience store stop.

Vegan Blissful Brownie and Strawberry Cheesecake
    Jenny Z.

Located inside of a gas station, this cookie shop is pretty cool and stays open late! I loved their showcase display of cookies and their varieties from classics to specialty and even vegan options. Service was friendly and quick to package up my order. I tried their vegan Blissful Brownie and their Strawberry Cheesecake. The brownie was extremely moist but thick and dry like a heartburn you would get from too much peanut butter haha. 3/5 The strawberry cheesecake was good but more of a cake than cookie and cold. I assumed they were freshly made, but seems to be fridged. 4/5 Their cookies were decent for the price point. I do appreciate the variety of options and think it's a great place to pick up cookies fast for a party or get together.

These cookies are absolutely awful. I just bought one and it's stale. It's not even worth those $3.

I'm a TOUGH judge on good chocolate chip cookies. I'm not much of a sweets person but I love me a good cookie! So my favorite has always been Bristol farms. But I had to stop in after hearing about this place. And they were good, but not anything special to me. Definitely wouldn't come back for them. They're very similiar to a sandwich shop cookie. Flat, a bit soft. I liked it. But I wasn't like omg these are amazing. Easy gas station parking

Still dreaming of these cookies! Did I drive up in my EV to this bakery in a random gas station? You betcha! The flavor selection is crazy, and the staff have always been super helpful to help indecisive me decide what I'm in the mood for. But no matter what, I can't leave without my brown butter chocolate chip cookie at least. You are bound to be the life of any party when you show up with a box of cookies from Zooies!

    Kris H.

The best cookies in LA hands down! Highly recommend coming to check out Zooies! The panda cookie is my favorite and one of their top sellers forsure! Location is very convenient and they stay open pretty late which is amazing. The employees are really great and friendly. Been going here for quite the while and never had an issue with this but apparently you're only allowed to microwave two cookies per customer? I was taken aback because I was never told this before and I understand that the employees were only trying to do their job but this has never been brought up. If that's the case would it be okay if I had separate transactions because it didn't quite make sense to me. Nonetheless I really love Zooies!

    Birthday Cake, Salted Caramel, S'mores
    Zan L.

I never would have guessed that some of the best cookies that I've had in LA are in a small gas station in the Palms district. I'm not a fan of Crumbl at all and thankfully these cookies are nothing like that. They are soft but not cakey soft and are packed with flavor. They have at least 20 different flavor options so it's easy to try something new each visit. Pricing is fair and service was very fast. When we arrived there were 4 people in front of us and 3 behind us so the secret is out on these bomb cookies. Parking can be a little tricky when the gas station is busy, but they do have a at least 6 spots on the north side of the station. Inside looks like what you would expect, a full service gas station but in one corner is Zooies and is run by their own employees. For my first visit I tried the Birthday Cake, Salted Caramel, and the S'mores and loved each of them. I would honestly get each of them again and already plan to be back in the near future to try more flavors.

    Ron L.

Who knew possibly the best chocolate chip cookies with 40 other varieties of cookies could be found on National Boulevard? National Boulevard, I expect Randy Newman is going to redo I Love LA and replace Century Boulevard with National Boulevard because of Zooies. But wait, there is more that will blow your mind. You can fill up your car in a sleek, semi futuristic gas station, circa 2029, while exploring a large selection of junk food at a clean convenience store that shares space (are you still with me?) with the right 1/3 which is ZOOIES!!! When you enter the glass doors that magically open as you appear and you smell the Sirens smell of chocolate chip cookies, they have you so do not blow the opportunity to enjoy reasonably priced delicious cookies and for people like me who are gluten intolerant/celiac and generally relegated to the kiddie table in the dessert world, there are about 6 selections including chocolate chip, berry citrus, coconut, Cloud 9 and others. Praise the Cookie Monster! So get your gas in order and roll on down the road to get the best driveby deliciousness.

We walked into a compact space with limited seating, but the interior has a cute and welcoming feel that fits the bakery concept. The setup is different from a typical bakery, with the counter and display case taking up most of the room, but the cozy atmosphere makes it feel more intentional than accidental. The bakery selection is the main draw, with a mix of Japanese style breads, buns, and pastries that are soft, fresh, and visually appealing. The salt and butter roll is one of the highlights, with a fluffy interior and a lightly crisp exterior that gives it a nice texture. The curry pan is another standout, with a satisfying savory filling and crispy coating that makes it feel like a more complete snack rather than just a pastry. The bear shaped pastries are also a fun touch and add a playful element to the bakery case, making the display feel more curated than a standard pastry counter. The drink menu is worth exploring as well, especially the matcha options. We ordered a matcha latte, which had a stronger flavor profile and paired naturally with the sweeter bakery items. The specialty drinks, including options like the taro latte, add some variety if you are looking for something beyond coffee. The presentation of the drinks also fits the overall aesthetic of the café and makes the experience feel more unique, with each drink coming out looking as thoughtful as it tastes. Since the café is inside a hotel lobby, the seating is limited and it can get busy, especially during peak hours, so it may be easier to grab something to go rather than expect to find a table. The staff were friendly and the ordering process was straightforward, which helps keep things moving even with the smaller space. The service was quick and efficient, and the team handled the steady flow of customers well. Okayama Kobo Bakery & Cafe is a charming spot for Japanese style pastries and matcha. The combination of fresh baked goods, creative drinks, and a cozy hidden away location makes it a nice place to stop when you are nearby. The salt and butter rolls, curry pan, and matcha are particularly worth the visit, making it more than just a quick coffee stop.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. I suspect that the "buttercream" was made with milk and margarine and powdered sugar.....so much powdered sugar. It was sickeningly sweet, and it was dry too. And a true bettercream doesn't even use powdered sugar. So not only were the cupcakes terrible, they were not even what they purported to be. This is like calling a cut of meat a filet mignon and serving a hamburger. Von's, Ralphs and Albertson's make better cupcakes than this for a fraction of othe price.

He took the time to explain the menu in detail since it was our first time dining here, which made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food was delicious. Employees like Theron are a huge part of what makes customers want to return. Bottega Louie is lucky to have him on their team. He truly deserves a raise, for the level of service he provides. Thank you for making our first visit so special. We will definitely be coming back!

came for brunch on a saturday w/ a reservation and was seated right away…read more our server was great, super kind and helpful. he gave us a fresh piece of bread that was still warm and butter which was a nice surprise! the le pancake is a super fluffy souffle pancake w/ a sweet strawberry syrup and a chantilly cream that was light and fluffy. the croque madame was a delicious savory brunch item. the room was on the dimmer side and i think could have used a little bit more lighting. the interior decor feels elevated yet simple and the desserts are a beautiful display. i came wanting to try the desserts but decided not to b/c of how expensive it is. until someone tells me its the best thing they've had, i'll hold off on boutega louie desserts for now
