New Lady Cakes cookies!!! Gotta try them all!
    Carl P.

There really are no words that that truly describe the cookies from The Very Best Cookie!!! Simply the best cookies in Los Angeles and honestly in the whole wide world!!! Amazing ingredients make amazing cookies! These babies aren't cheap, but are worth every penny spent! IYKYK!!! Please go and support this local female owned family business I promise you you'll love everything sold here! They also serve premium coffee and coffee drinks along with some locally made gelato too! (The chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches are fantastic) Go here NOW and bye the way, don't forget to get some RKT's (Rice Krispy Treats) they are the original items that got me hooked on The Very Best Cookie!!!

Cool place. Good cookies. Nice customer service. I'd have to try them again because they didn't leave the best impression. But for a good cookie, stop in.

    Ignoring me

When I arrive, there was a lady eating and on the phone and another lady that was at the counter and there wasn't anyone else in the shop I was totally ignored. I first was looking at items that they had for sale and talking on the phone and then I walked up to the cash register for someone to help me no one ever came out and the person by the counter never said I'll be right with you after five minutes of her ignoring me. I finally asked her. Is there someone that can help me and then the lady that was sitting down at one of the tables came behind the counter. It was the most disorganized shop I've ever been in very rude and what a horrible experience. No wonder there's so many negative comments both employees where just plain rude & ignored me

Came here on my birthday for a special sweet treat. I am a huge CC lover and had high expectations. the OG was perfect, crispy on the outside but gooey and melty on the inside. Lots of places don't do oatmeal chocolate chip, so I had to try it here since I love oatmeal cookies. Loved that one too! (please don't get rid of it) Overall great cookie shop and will be returning.

The name says it all, this desert shop is incredible, their CCC is on another level and having tried almost every treat they offer there's not a bad option in the case!

Good cookies, cute interior, fast service, but a bit overpriced for what you get. Best to come in the middle of a weekday so you can find street parking.

Stumbled upon this spot and saw they had the Dubai chocolate cookie and just had to try it. It's a 12 dollar cookie and although I was shocked about the price, I was pleasantly surprised that the inside had a good amount of the pistachio kataifi. The cookie is pretty hefty which is good but I'm not sure I'd spend 12 dollars on it again.

You must get the Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats!!! They are now my favorite item at this shop. They are so good!!! The brown butter and toasted marshmallows give this chewy, delicious Rice Krispie treat a 10/10. I have bought many Rice Krispie treats from this place and shared it with others, and they too fell in love with it. They are a little pricey for a Rice Krispie treat, but are super good! Thank you the Very Best Cookie!

OHHH-EMMMM-G SHE DID IT AGAIN!! Hello Dubai Bar Cookie! Seriously the *BEST* cookie in the entire Los Angeles right now. I know I sound so dramatic but this bomb.com bite I just had completely blew my mind. At first when I started eating the cookie, from the edge, I thought there must've been some kind of mistake because it just seemed like a regular chocolate chip cookie but when you take that second, third to infinity bite and dive taste buds first into the gooey pistachio-ey, but yet crispy middle that's meshed in with the super generous chunks of melted chocolate, dear God there goes my hips! This cookie is insanely decadent without any guilt. It's incredible that it's just the right amount of sweetness and the play on texture is genius - I declare this my #1 FAVE FAVE FAVE!!! XX

Truly the very best cookie. I placed an order ahead of time for a vegan chocolate chip cookie. It was perfectly soft and crispy and mixed with the right amount of chocolate chips. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Truly the best cookies in Los Angeles. Only problem is the street parking is limited. You may have to park in a nearby neighborhood depending on the time of day and week. I would definitely comeback.

Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
