They are still around! Thank goodness. Love their cookies. Came in early Saturday morning, which was great! Every cookie was available, so I almost got one of each. There was only 1 person working, but she was wonderful and even gave me an extra cookie since it was broken and she could not sell. Same great cookies, same great customer service. The place is as cute as ever!

I'm a first time customer. I didn't know this store existed and would know today unless my friend took me there. It's tucked into the back of the Kohl's shopping center.Quite a long walk from the entrance to Kohl's. They have their own mini parking lot to go with the surrounding 4 businesses or so. The shop is petite. The gentleman that helped us was friendly and professional. He knew his cookies as we inquired about a few. They are all $3 with the exception of the s'more which is more. They have a good gluten free, sugar, free, and nut free selection. They even have one made with Splendia. I had my eye on the lemon one, it stated it was gluten free, I'm not on any special gluten restriction diet, but I am a lover of lemon and I got it. It was delicious. I couldn't tell it was missing the gluten. I also got the white chocolate Macadamia nut cookie in memory of our little girl Belle, it was her favorite cookie. The only negative side of the shop is the cookies are $3 each. That's a Hefty price tags for a single Cooke. It's probably the going rate for cookies these days. There is a lot of competition out there for cookie shops. My girlfriend took me to one in DOCO as they had gluten free cookies that she really liked so there is an audience that is after those gluten free cookies. So for them this sounds like a break through as those ingredients don't come cheap and if you only want a single cookie this is the way to go. I really liked there lemon cookie and if my girlfriend takes me back I won't complain. It was nice that it was here treat this last visit. Maybe I'll get lucky again and she'll take me back.

Lovely service by the nice young working the counter. The name intrigued us to visit but nothing uncommon or standout about the cookie selection. They weren't bad, they just weren't memorable. If you purchase a dozen you'll get a lagniappe. It would be nice to have seen some deals if less than a dozen, but understand overheads and the reality of thin profit margins in the food space.

We didn't even know this place exist until we went to the fried chicken chain next door. I love cookies but never found a place in town, so I need to try it out. This looks like a place with just cookies (no cake, brownie, muffins). Pricing is for individual piece and no bulk discount. Its listed on the chalkboard behind the counter and not on the window. The lady working there is very nice/pleasant. There is some allergy information written like about gluten free, which was nice (at least 2 types are gluten free the day I visited). There are lots of variety behind the nice window display (anything more than 20 varieties to me is a lot). We got 4 cookies for shy of $20. There is a 3% surcharge is you pay by credit card (not clearly displayed until check out of you read the terminal). I don't recall any seating area, so more like purchase to-go type. Its good to have options beyond crumble down the street. There is no cookie smell on the street to attract you to go in through door (like how the St Louis Galleria Cheesecake Factory, the only Cheesecake factory that do that to me! Or Christine's in Nashville! Or William Greenberg in NYC!). The store is not as brightly lit like most chocolate/cookies stores. You have to look up to tell it is a cookie store. I find it nice to have a cookie store you can go in and just get one as a reward lol. No fancy box. If the cookies speaks for itself you don't need the fancy box. Yes it is bagged in those ugly donut to go paper bag but who cares about the packaging if the cookie is good! So is it good? The cookies we got were: 1) White chocolate almond. First time trying as most places offer the white chocolate macadamia. I like this one the most. 2) Rascal, which is chocolate peanut butter. The lady at store is super patience to explain that to me when I asked. When I heard peanut butter I knew I have to get it! It taste as good as the snickersnoodles. 3) Snickersnoodles. That is what my hubby likes to get so need to get him to check it out. Whe I told him in the car he was like "did you get it?". What a cookie monster! It taste good. 4) Smores chocolate something that I fogot. It was the first one caught my eye in terms of appearance. It got chunky chocolate pieces which is nice touch. It had the Nestle Milk chocolate which came with an after taste which was not my favourites but it taste pretty good. If it were better chocolate this would be a much better cookie, but I understand it will be difficult due to the pricing. In general it tastes way better than Crumble. If it was open on the other side of the complex it probably will be busier. That side of the complex is usually too quiet until the Hot Chickz just opened. We will return if we come back to this side, and probably dodge milk chocolate cookies options because I am not a fan of the Nestle milk chocolate maltose after taste.

A classic cookie shop! I went to a coffee shop that had no cookies left, so of course I had to come here. This is such a quick little stop, with each cookie being $3 which is pretty standard. I got the chocolate chip cookie which tasted exactly like what comes to mind when you think of a chocolate chip cookie, something your grandma would bake. My boyfriend got the crackle which was really yummy and chocolatey, a little dense on the outside but super fluffy on the inside. Such a nice little snack, amazing service, and cute little shop. Also, they had samples of the exact cookie I was curious about, yum!

Finally tried it after seeing this place all my life LOL. Jus went to get a chocolate chip cookie. When i first walk in it honestly smelled weird and bad, idk what it was but it was not a good bakery smell.... But anyways when i walked in there was two people who came. The one chocolate chip cookie was 3$... which is kinda expensive for the small cookie. The cookie was very doughy, which i don't hugely mind but it was interesting. Def not my favorite cookie place but it was alright, glad to have tried it. They had a ton of cookies on display/to sell too and i went around like 4.

Great customer service. Excellent selection. Wish the black white and tan cookies were sold more not just Tuesdays.

Cookie Jar is one of my favorite cookie spots and I would always go when I am at Elk Grove. I got two dozen chocolate chips and an assorted dozen. I brought some home and unfortunately there was a blonde hair baked into the cookie. Even more unfortunate is that someone else saw the hair and not me. Service was great and their selections are not complicated. I wish we didn't see the hair.

It was definitely an eye catcher. They also had smaller cakes and slices you could buy as you come in also. Specialty cakes needs to be orderer prior. I didn't get a chance to taste the cakes, so I can't say much about it, but it was definitely nicely decorated. The pastries were decent. Nothing I haven't already have elsewhere before. The drinks were very good though, I'd say. My passion fruit tea had real passion fruit in it. The mango smoothie, also had real mango bits in it. Tip: order drinks then take a gander of the pastries, so while you're waiting for your drinks to be made, you can pick out your pastries. This was our first time here and won't be our last.

I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

My fave was the Ube Coconut. The mango ones were good too; the mango flavor really came through. They both tasted pretty much the same - just that one had sticky rice and the other had sago. The donuts were soft and not too sweet. If you like chocolate, you'll love the Dubai Chocolate donut. The chewy Dubai cookie is like a stuffed mochi - quite sweet. We picked up two Dubai Chew Cookies, which I really enjoyed. The mochi exterior gave them a fun texture and they were surprisingly good. We also tried their Mango Sago donuts, and while they were definitely different from your typical donut, they were unique and delicious. To round things out, we got a classic sprinkle donut, a chocolate glazed donut, and they even threw in three donut holes, which was a nice surprise. For drinks, we ordered the Dot Cake Coffee Latte ($9) and the Dot Cake Matcha Latte ($8). The drinks were decent, but both had way too much ice. The matcha latte tasted more like milk than matcha, which was a little disappointing. Altogether, our order came out to around $54, which feels pretty pricey for donuts and drinks. Overall, I'm glad we finally gave this place a try. The specialty donuts were creative and tasty, and you can tell they put effort into making something different. That said, because of the price point, it's probably more of an occasional treat for me rather than a spot I'd visit regularly. Definitely worth checking out at least once if you're curious
