Great customer service, decent prices, yummy donuts and quite a variety. They do run out or get out late Le in the day. Nice ladies, clean and quick service

I stop here at lease once a week for croissant, yes a croissant! It's only $6 for ham egg and cheese and $5 for ham and cheese, and these things are massive! Not only are they huge but they're so light and fluffy and the whole thing just melts in your mouth. The donuts are good but I mainly come for the croissant.

Amazing service and delicious donuts! I can't say enough great things about JR's Donuts. I stopped by for the kids, and all they wanted was a classic sprinkled donut. Unfortunately, they had just sold out. But instead of disappointing the little ones, the staff went above and beyond--they offered to make them for us! That level of customer service was completely unexpected and so appreciated. The donuts were fresh and fluffy. The kids were happy campers. If you're looking for a place that truly cares about its customers (and their sprinkle-loving kids), this is it! We'll definitely be back.

This is my dad's go-to donut shop & I can see why. The donuts are good quality & a good size. They really perfected the twisted glaze donuts. Every donut is sooo yummy.

The day I went, the apple fritter was dry, A LOT of cinnamon, and no apple bits. Would not recommend.

My friend saw that Elk Grove Donuts released their new young coconut series and wanted us to try it. We came around 11 am on a Saturday and it was pretty busy! We ordered two young coconut sticky rice pandan donuts, one young coconut pandan donut, young coconut matcha, and matcha latte. Everything together cost over $41, which we thought was a little ridiculous for donuts and matcha drinks. We were also shocked how small the young coconut matcha was when it came out. Kinda disappointed on the taste too as it was pretty telling when it wasn't a vibrant green. The matcha latte was just okay. The donuts of course were really pretty, but in reality it wasn't with the price over a normal donut. I think it would have been better if the flavors were incorporated into the donut itself versus it just having the frosting and toppings. Both are very heavy, so be prepared for a nap! It was extremely sweet too and a lot compared to the donut itself. Overall, I don't think I'd come back for their speciality donuts. They are pretty overhyped online, however I would be happy to try their normal donuts.

This is a very small donut spot with a small display of donuts, coffee bar on the side with no seating available but found the place very clean. We really loved the nice thin glaze on each donut - they were not too sweet and we were very much impressed by the original glaze and this was my brother's favorite. The apple fritter was my favorite - nice crispy crunchy edges and soft on the inside - although I wish more apple flavor came through this is still a very solid apple fritter. My husband enjoyed the old fashion the best. Our least favorite was the blueberry cake donut as the blueberry cruller tasted way too artificial which is not to my personal taste. If you love classic donuts with no frills, this is a very solid spot located in a small plaza with decent amount of parking.

I immediately saw the donut holes and knew I had to pick up some for my son. For me, I like a good old classic French cruller. I like the airy fluffy inside. The donut holes are 12 for $3.75. I asked for 6 and the lady gave me extras. I appreciate the nice gesture. I think she knew it was my first visit. The selection is smaller than your typical donut shop. I have decision paralysis (lol), so that's fine with me as long as they have the classics. Donuts were average taste but freshly made. From the menu, they also sell few popular snacks like popcorn chicken and Vietnamese Coffee.

The injections or syringes full of sweet fillings are quite novel. Kids love 'em. I know they were super popular when a student's parent brought Bad Bakers donuts to celebrate their birthday. So presentation wise, they have it down. Taste wise, ugh. Texture is all wrong and way too sweet. I grabbed an old fashioned donut to take home and by the time we got home, it felt all mushy, unlike old fashioned donuts at other shops. You know it's bad when the donut sits around at home untouched by everyone! But I'd say it's a good place to go for maybe kids, teens and younger customers who just want a cool-looking donut and some sugar. Our gift recipients thought they were super cool though. I kinda mumbled under my breath that they look amazing but not sure how great they taste (having tried the Roseville location in the past). Neat place but not quite our thing.
