A small donut shop nestled in a dense suburban area in Sac. First time visiting, and I like the type of donut that's here in that the donuts have a bready-edge to them. The donuts have a slight chewy give to them but they're still soft; think of it as donuts that have qualities of a good dinner roll. Get the chocolate cream-filled donut! The cream is really light and pairs well with the chocolate. The bear claw donut has the same good donut base, but the apple pie filling is a little too gooey (reminds me of pie filling from a can). There are also danishes here (not sure if they're available regularly). The danish bread base on both of the ones that I got is a little dry, but the fillings make them still worth getting. Rich, but not-too-sweet, cherry filling on one and boldly-flavored almond paste filling on the other. Pretty good donut shop. Since it's a small place the donut selection isn't grand, but it's still well worth a visit if you're in the area and are craving for some sweet treats!

glazed twist

so i ordered the glazed and maple twists and they were very good. not greasy like most donuts and the frosting was light and not overly sweet. definitely an equilibrium of frosting to dough ratio. very delicious. also the dough was very pillowy and soft like a cloud. definitely worth trying. oh and also the employee was very friendly n the place was hella clean. for sure worth going here. i'd def come back since prices are pretty fair too.

Nice local donut place in Elk Grove. Tried the cinnamon roll and a few other donuts. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Still haven't found an establishment that sells a glazed and frosted donut. It's one or the other but never both. Why can't we get both!?! The apple fritter looked good, I'll have to try that one next time.

Chocolate Coconut Raised and Chocolate Bar Donuts

TL;DR: We love going to our neighborhood donut shop. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet treats, so donuts aren't usually something I crave, but I do love the chocolate bars here. They are huge! I like that their donuts are soft and pillowy and have a nice fluffy dough. I also prefer when donuts don't have a thick layer of glaze or chocolate topping. The ratio of the chocolate bar works for me and one bar is plenty for one sitting! LOCATION/PARKING: They are located in a small shopping center by Taco Bell, next to Zecky's Fish Tacos. The center doesn't really get a lot of traffic, so parking is easy on any given day. ATMOSPHERE: Its a pretty standard small donut shop. Simple and clean. Love seeing the big display full of donuts first thing in the morning. No seating, just the display and the register. SERVICE: The staff is friendly. I've even had some nice conversation with a lady that works there. Overall, the service is quick and pleasant. FOOD: The chocolate bar is my go-to, since I usually prefer less sweet or more simple/classic donut varieties. My BF has tried plenty of options from the cake and old fashioned donuts to the apple fritters. The size of the donuts are larger compared to other shops, so the value is great! I really want to try their Creme Brûlée donut after seeing it on their Instagram page, but I haven't seen it at the shop during the times I've been so far. Their breakfast sandwiches look really good too but I heard they sell out fast and are only offered after 8am on weekends. PRICE: Assorted Dozens are $17 and Half Dozens are $8.50 ($1.50 extra for "fancy"). Individual donuts range from $1.35 for cakes and raised to $2.50 for the apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. Croissants are $2.50 for plain and $4.50 for Ham & Cheese. They also have a variety of hot and cold beverages. A small coffee is $1.95 and large is $2.45.

Sausage egg croissant

My favorite donut shop been going here for years since I was a little girl, even when I moved further a way I still find myself coming back for their donuts. I saw on their IG yesterday that they had a creme brûlée donut (its something that they're trying out. Weekends only and available at 8am). Also on weekends, on a trial basis a sausage egg croissant . All yummy and delicious. I just love how their donuts taste. Its nice a fluffy. I love it when they do new things. Definitely worth a try.

Apple donuts, so so yummy!

Each and every time I make a trip to Sacramento, I make sure to stop by this spot. Donuts are fresh and delicious. Customer service is spot on and follows Covid protocol. I came in and forgot to wear my mask and they kindly reminded me to have my mask on indoors. I will always support businesses who ensure the health and safety of their customers.

Panda donuts

Best donut shop around. We have been coming here for years. The ham and cheese croissant is hands down THE best! They recently made custom donuts for our baby shower and man were they a hit. Soooooo cute and of coarse delicious.

Hella donut holes for $1 per dozen...
Tram T.

Really cheap dozen donut holes! Coworkers hate me on Payday Fridays because I'll come in with 6 dozen donuts so delicious. I get the stink eye and grumblings as they pass by my desk and grab handfuls. Of course management gets first dibs...how else does one move up the corporate ladder?? OH...I forgot to mention my kids love coming here sometimes on the weekends for their great variety of glazed and sprinkled treats. Note: On weekdays, get there 30 minutes before schools starts. The school kids buy everything up pretty fast.

Best donuts I've had. Service is great. In and out with a smile. Love the crispness of the old fashioned and fluffiness of the maple bar.

I have had my share of donuts around Sacramento over the past 30 years. These donuts are by far some of the best!

Soft coffeeshop study music is playing in the background. The workers were friendly and the coffee came out fast even with a line but the sandwiches took over 20 minutes to come out. The coffee and food were at market prices; the sandwiches are larger than normal and easily shareable. Parking was easy thanks to the parking lot next door. The coffee was well balanced with many milk alternatives available and not overly sweet brown sugar or vanilla add-ons. The Turkey Panini was savory, the red bell peppers gave it a kick, and the bread was toasty. The Bacon (turkey) Breakfast sandwich was fluffy and It's refreshing to see this type of vibe in EG.

All the sandwiches were good but the bacon sandwich left a huge impact due to the fluffy eggs. The aioli they put on the sandwiches is amazing. One complaint is that they put so much arugula and some of them are uncooked so it's quite hard to chew and I ended up choking on some of them. Be prepared to wait for your sandwiches though. There's plenty of seatings inside and outside + lots of parking spaces. The cafe is super cute and they even have couches!

She chose Carpenter coffee roasters which is a small local coffee truck right off Elk Florin. We parked and walked up to the truck. I was hesitant because of the small menu, but let that fool you because the coffee they use is really REALLY GOOD! We ordered an iced vanilla latte and an iced white mocha. I usually stay away from drinks with dairy (lactose intolerant, LOL) but my daughter ordered my drink and gave me the: "just try it" look. And boy was she right! The coffee they use cuts through but the white chocolate created a smooth creamy aftertaste. Soooo good! As for my daughter Latte, it disappeared, but failed to give me her review jumping on the plane Like any place, for food or drink not everyone's palette is the same so you'll have to try for yourself but be honest for other yelpers out there. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee flight and my girlfriend ordered the Vietnamese coffee floats. In hindsight, we should have shared one flight because we didn't even finish one whole flight!! The portions were much bigger than we expected. I tried the Biscoff flavored one and it was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend drank her Matcha and Vanilla. She said they were yummy!! I also ordered a Croffle with Nutella. Our server added bananas and whipped cream. OMG. It was sooooooo tasty!!! She ordered an order of "Dirty Fries" that she had seen on Instagram. It was like a decomposed crab roll on top of perfectly cooked French fries. They made a non-meat option for people celebrating Lent. The service was amazing and the owner of the store even took the time to come chat with us. It sounds like they are opening up an outside seating area soon as well as offering a brunch menu. The gals behind the counter were awesome. They were busily working the whole time. The cafe was a little busy when we got there (10:22) and by the time we left (11:45), it was HOPPIN'! Everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. We will definitely be back with some more friends!! P

I did not like how the menu was chaotic. There are menu items on the screen above the register and then they had advertisements of other random items just on the glass. I ordered the Mango Sticky rice drink. I'm not sure it was even a drink?? It had sticky rice on the bottom and mango slush on top, so it was kinda like a drink but you needed a spoon for the sticky rice. What was annoying was that not only did you have to ask for a spoon, but the spoon they provided had a small handle for such a deep cup. It was just a sticky mess. I'm good off this place.
