I've been getting my lashes done with Jessica E at Cookie Jar for over a year and she is just the most amazing person and be best at her job. She uses glue that lasts and lashes that are simply beautiful. I always get the classic lashes, but I've seen her hybrid and volume lashes, and they are marvelous. I see her about every 3 weeks. Her prices are very competitive and the quality is the best I've found. I wholeheartedly recommend you go see her if you want to get lashes for a special occasion or like me just do them on the regular. I always thought the expense was too much and even said out loud I'd never afford to do lashes for $60-something every 3-4 weeks, but I did it once and I'm hooked. And it's worth it! It saves SO much time getting ready in the mornings. I rarely use any makeup anymore because they create such a nice natural look. You have to brush the lashes and take care of them, but now that I've worked them into my lifestyle and budget, I plan to keep doing them for a while. I don't want to totally trash this place because she did do a nice job on the waxing and shaping BUT the salon is just so dirty and run down. It looks nothing like the website pictures. Maybe it did at one time, but now it has fallen into disrepair and shows too many signs of been neglected. Filled with clutter, dirty floors, very dusty, peeling paint with water stained walls and ceiling. My skin also broke out from the treatment, which had never happened before. Sorry, I just can't recommend, although the esthetician herself was talented and friendly enough. I purchased a 2 pack waxing from groupon, but wont be returning. And really, with all the non essential businesses being closed for weeks there was plenty of time to fix 'er up. Shame. read more

This was my 3rd Brazilian wax in town, and defiantly my best so far! I loved the location, it's right off of 4th and surrounded by other cool shops. The inside was chill, and very pretty. And the owner, was very nice. She did my wax, and was incredibly fast and professional. She uses hard wax, not strips, and this was part of the reason I choose her shop. (The strips are very rough on my sensitive skin) Plus she has a great groupon! I gave her a call to see if I could get an appointment after I got out of work, and she fit me right in. No problem, and no waiting. She kept up small talk to distract me from the pain, and she didn't leave a single hair! Not bad for a 20 min wax. I will definitely be back! read more

Great professional service. I got my brows waxed for the first time and it was a great experience! I usually get my brows threaded but thought I'd try a wax for longer results. They really take the time to do your brows. I really liked the results afterwards. Personally I prefer the shape of threading but I was very comfortable coming here especially for my first time.
