I can't take the reviews seriously--feels like they're coming from friends or family. I don't enjoy leaving one-star reviews, but this place honestly feels like a joke. The cookies are clearly frozen. No question. They taste like bulk frozen cookies you'd get from somewhere like GFS, then reheated and dressed up with store-bought toppings (cereal, marshmallow, etc.) to try to mask the lack of quality--but it doesn't work. At the end of the day, you're paying $5 per cookie for what is basically a dressed-up frozen cookie. If that's what you want, just go to Costco and save yourself the drive and the wait. At least Crumbl--while not amazing--makes their dough fresh daily, and you can respect the effort. This just feels lazy and overpriced. Simply put, Cookieee Boys is a great place to get dessert. It's known for its cookies, but it's an ice cream shop, as well. The most popular menu item is the CB; a warm cookie skillet loaded with ice cream and toppings. I've tried several cookies, the Reese's milkshake, and the C-T-C CB. All of the cookies are made in-house. I've had red velvet, chocolate chip, cookie monster (M&M), and s'mores. Of those, I preferred the red velvet. The Reese's milkshake was incredibly rich, but delicious. The C-T-C CB was my favorite dessert overall. This features a sugar cookie, cinnamon ice cream, and cinnamon toast crunch cereal. I highly recommend the C-T-C, or a CB in general. Cookieee Boys may be trendy, but the quality of its desserts does not take a backseat. It is on the pricier side, but I'd much rather support a family-owned establishment over a rival chain. read more

We discovered this shop when we ate at Two Hands Corn Dogs - it was across the way. I love cookies so I wanted to see what they were offering. Stopped here for the first time this past Friday night, service was great. What's fun new ice cream spot. Basically they are making you a fresh cookie sundae. We got the shareable size CTC so Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Fresh baked sugar cookie with cinnamon ice cream with caramel and ctc cereal on top. It was delicious. We stuck with the breakfast theme and also tried the fruity pebbles shake which was delicious, tasted like fruity pebbles without being too sweet. We ended up sharing them to see what the other person's milkshake tasted like. The fruity pebble milkshake tasted good, you can taste that they blended a good amount of fruity pebble cereal into it. However, the cookie monster milkshake that I ordered wasn't that good. I could barely taste the cookie and the milkshake seemed watered down? It wasn't as strong and creamy as the fruity pebble one. Giant warm cookie served in an aluminum pie tin, topped with ice cream....what's not to love? I got the The CB Reese's and it was gooey peanut buttery goodness. Not to throw shade, but I'd go here over Crumbl Cookies any day. Fun interior. My kiddo loved the neon Cookie Monster and eaten cookies. This place has been open for 2 days (8/28) but they have been operating from a food truck for 4 years. My sis had seen some posts on Instagram and since we were passing by we thought we'd give it a try. It's in a plaza off Big Beaver (shares a plaza with Condado). They have limited hours until after Labor Day when they'll open longer hours (they currently Operate 3-8). These guys are very friendly & helpful and local! I'm always for supporting the local business. The interior is fun...I could certainly see some instagramable photo moments here. There plenty of space to sit inside and out. They are known for their cookie with ice cream--it's a huge cookie with ice cream on top....we didn't try that as I was a bit apprehensive. I'm not crazy about all these cookie places (Crumbl, Insomnia, Detroit Cookie Co)....but BEHOLD! We've discovered a delicious cookie! They serve these cookies warm...the cookie is crispy, gooey, not too sweet, perfect chocolate taste! These are a winner. We only got 3 and all 3 we're great. Chocolate chip & peanut butter being our favorite...the s'mores came in 3rd. These cookies are different--very good! I'm a chocolate chip cookie snob - when I heard about this place, I had to try to it. It certainly does not live up to the hype. The atmosphere is loud and chaotic. The music is blaring and there was no organization to the line. The employees at the counter didn't seem interested in trying to get people through the line while some folks in the line were more interested in socializing, waiting for someone or just gawking. The menu could be a little more clear for those who've never been here. Of course the incredibly loud music didn't help. Once we got to place our order -- first thing the nephew ordered a drink: "that's not working right now." Order placed and waited and waited for a dozen cookies. A VERY, VERY expensive dozen cookies. Now, a good solid cookie could save this place and make it a "must go to." Sadly, it's a tragically bland cookie that's lacking any character or real flavor. A little more sugar (granulated and brown), a little variety in the chocolate (dark, etc) would go a long way in improving this cookie.
