I'll start off by reviewing each item purchased. Service was nice and quick with a drive-thru so that's a bonus. Ambiance - it's outdoor so you can't beat that :) Banana Split The banana split at Frosty Freeze is a classic treat that doesn't disappoint. The fresh bananas are perfectly ripe, providing a sweet and creamy base. Topped with scoops of vanilla and chocolate. No strawberry ice cream only topping so it's not traditional. Each bite is a delightful mix of flavors. The sundae is finished with a dollop of whipped cream and a cherry on top creating a visually appealing and tasty dessert. Missing the peanuts so I'm a little disappointed. The chocolate and strawberry sauces add an extra layer of indulgence, however not much is put on. It's still a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Hot Fudge Sundae Frosty Freeze's hot fudge sundae is a rich and decadent delight. The contrast between the cold ice cream and the hot fudge creates a pleasing sensation with every spoonful. The sundae is topped with whipped cream - no cherry or nuts so a bit disappointed on that as well. Root Beer Float The root beer float at Frosty Freeze is a refreshing choice. The combination of frosty root beer and creamy vanilla ice cream creates a fizzy, sweet treat that's perfect for a hot day. Overall, Frosty Freeze offers a delightful array of ice cream treats that cater to different tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a sundae, an almost classic float, or an almost loaded banana split, you're sure to find something satisfying. Only disappointed that the items are not truly the traditional version missing the most important parts - nuts, lots of chocolate and the cherry on top. Here's a better look of the menu.

As a vegan it's very difficult for me to find ice cream shop where they serve non dairy options. As far s I'm concern, none of the dairy mats in area offer anything like this. This one does and I'm very happy about it! They have almond milk ice cream which you can turn into most of their dessert options. As a previous blizzard fan, I had to go with oreo freezie. My hubby got a regular dairy twist vanilla chocolate flavor. We both went with medium size and they were huge! Especially the oreo freezie. In comparison to DQ sizes, it was like a large. Next time definitely small size, because there will be next time for sure! Also, they have a drive thru option which I find very convenient during covid days.

Really nice ice cream. We had a hot fudge sundae with nuts and marshmallow and a twist cone. Service was perfect.

Whoa. Maybe I have to give soft serve another chance. I have often wondered just what the point of soft serve is. The texture's often icy, the flavor never really that satisfying. If I'm going to rack up the calories for some ice cream, I'm almost always going straight for the hand-scooped variety. After a small hot fudge sundae from Frosty Freeze, though, I may be reconsidering my position on this scoop vs. soft serve issue. I don't know what they do to make the texture of the soft serve here so dang smooth, but Ryan is right -- it's a bit amazing. The texture is a bit different than most soft serve -- almost more creamy, like frozen custard. I'm not usually in ice-cream mode when I'm in this neck of the woods. It's often mid-day and I'm running errands or headed here and there. But then again... if I can enjoy soft serve, well then I guess I can have Frosty Freeze any time of day, too!

The Reese's you see on top was it, none blended in like it should be in a freeze

After reading the previous reviews I kind of expected to be blown away by the ice cream here, unfortunately that was not the case. Drove the the drive thru which two cars were ahead of me, wait was about 12 mins. I ordered a small Reese cup freeze, which is basically their version of a DQ Blizzard. I agree with what other writers said about the creaminess of the soft serve, that much is true but the freeze itself was blah. The only Reese cups were on the top, it was not well blended at all. And there was probably a teaspoon of Reese's in the whole thing so it was mostly a cup of vanilla ice cream. Pretty disappointed.

So far this is the best soft serve custard in Oakland County. My all time favorite is Wally's of St Clair Shores. It's rich and creamy. The Woodward Dairy ___ fill in the blank places suck. Icy tasteless cones of nothing. Not worth the calories. This is my new favorite for the area. It is creamy and tasty. Twist cone was good. Tried cotton candy dip, something new. Not bad. Low prices. We will be back.

By far, the most amazing ice cream I've ever had! So pure, rich and creamy! The customer service was also on point. They're very polite and aren't intimidating. I try to get something different every time, but my go-to favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake. The Coke Float is also really good!

Dutch Chocolate Freezie with only chocolate ice cream, instead of twist (choco + vanilla soft serve). The Medium is pretty big!

They serve Hershey's ice cream. $5 minimum required for credit cards, which means at least two people need to order.

This is the last standing frozen yogurt in downtown, unfortunately…read more I have only been to this place out of pure curiosity and desperation to have frozen yogurt. It's a galley style layout, kind of odd. I trie( their sorbet and chocolate froyo with some Oreo cookies, PB and caramel. I know they have a bunch of random stuff to put on your frozen yogurt, but I am usually disappointed when I put too much stuff on my frozen yogurt or ice cream. It was rather expensive for what you get, but they do give you a lot of toppings and certainly interesting. The service is meh, just staffers that weight out your bowl and take your money, felt very transactional from what I recall. I was always bummed that it was this place that survived and not sweet earth, which was definitely better quality.

Spotting it from afar and being from New York thought it was 16 handles. It wasn't but very similar. Upon entering greeted warmly and with bright smiles. Proceeded to look at flavors to decide flavors. It does offer seating to dine inside. Very cute. Selected pomegranate and strawberry with coconut and other toppings. Saw topping looking like gummy bears that cashier recommended not a fan of gummies but decided to try. Whoa I was like a kid in candy store. They were like bubbles popping in your mouth. I was so enthralled I couldn't get enough wanted to return and purchase a cupful lol. When I say it's the little things. All in all sweet tooth satisfied, check and check.

Their vegan ice cream is out of this world ever since they changed their base from rice milk to coconut and pea protein. It's so creamy and the best vegan ice cream I ever had. They are most famous for their Kookie Monster flavor...a nostalgic blue color that's favorite of both kids and adults. You can find their food truck at various events in the area, food truck rallies at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and Urbanrest Brewing Co. I absolutely love their Kooky Monster flavor: blue vanilla ice cream with Oreos and cookie dough. The ultimate cookies & cream flavor! Not overly sweet and the sandwich version of this is amazing too (sandwiched between two soft chocolate chip cookies). And I've had the cherry marshmallow flavor which was great: it didn't taste artificial and the marshmallow was a nice touch. It's cool how they have all these unique flavors and I'd love to keep coming back to try more!
