Custom cookies $5 per with personalization

I was referred here by at least 3 friends and my usual custom cookie lady is a realtor by day so she has a long lead time. I needed promotion cookies within 3 days and Jess did not disappoint. In fact, she accommodated last minute add-ons by piping in names to match up with the edible paper printing of the original list. Parking is easy- two dedicated loading spots right in front. You will pay a premium for custom cookies 4-5" diameter $5 per and one dozen minimum, but they are individually wrapped and have that wow factor! I also bought some premade, beautifully wrapped bite box cookies for my neighbor and she made me look good.

You need these for your team! As delicious as they are good looking! Thank you, Jess! You always come through and make the ordinary extraordinary!

Another great experience getting desserts from Jess! She did the cookies for my baby shower and now her 1 year birthday. The cookies are so delicious and soft, the cake pops were amazing, and the pretzels were fantastic. The decor was spot on with the theme too! Love her service, great to work with!

Cookies By Jess was located near my nephew's grad party venue so I ended up ordering from them. Jess was super helpful in assisting me with my order. This is a hidden gem. Whenever I need to grab special treats this is one of the first places I think of. I love that I can stop by pickup a box set or create my own. Everyone always loves it. And if you follow them on Facebook you'll see highlights of whatever special treats they are making like this week was all about Teacher Appreciation Week. Which was a perfect treat for the teacher.

I ordered cake pops for my daughter's birthday and they were really tasty and so pretty! I loved how they were individually wrapped. Jess was easy to communicate with and I would definitely use her again. Next time, I would just request a different color tie to differentiate between the chocolate cake pops and the vanilla ones since I had a couple of requests for specific flavors and I couldn't tell which ones were which.

This spot is a delicious little sweet shop in the city of Orange. I stopped in the other day to order some snickerdoodle & chocolate chip cookies that are absolutely perfect. You know when you crave that slightly crisp outer/slightly moist soft inner snickerdoodle? It's here, at Cookies by Jess. It's the absolute perfect snickerdoodle! They have such a cool variety of cookies, cake pops, etc. you'll definitely leave with something sweet. This bag is actually another order I picked up today because the last was so popular with friends and neighbors. Lots of cool ideas for back to school. Love this business. A+

I've been using cookies by Jess since before she had her own shop and was making cookies out of her house. Her cookies are awesome. They taste fantastic and always look so great for whatever occasion I order them for. She has done corporate gift cookies for us shaped like T-shirts and pretty much has been able to accommodate any request I have for gifts. I've literally bought for every special occasion (showers, holidays, graduation, birthdays, sports, school functions,etc). You really can't go wrong. Every time I bring them people ask me where they are from. It's not only the cookies but the other treats as well (cake pops are probably my most favorite!!). read more

Wow! Everything we have tried from Cookies By Jess has been phenomenal! They are very responsive and prompt at completing our orders. They have it all, from custom cookies to their cake pops, everything is soft and fresh. They even offer personalized edible printing on their cookies as well. A friend brought a tray of these cookies to our Christmas gathering in 2016. One bite, and we were all hooked! Absolutely delicious, I have since ordered my own trays for different occasions. When I ordered a tray of bites for a bridal shower, Jess went out of her way to ask me the bride and groom's colors, and even had me email the color shades to her so she could comes as close as possible with the frosting. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! She can literally do anything you want on a cookie. I have been ordering cookies from Jess for a few years now. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! My kids don't like cake or cupcakes but they LOVE these cookies!! We just had a party for about 16 kids and parents and the 60 bite platter was PERFECT!! It came with 3 large cookies and you have so many choices!! We got 2 large dog cookies and a happy birthday cookie on our platter!! The 2nd BEST part is that the cookies come in little paper cups and we didn't need little plates to serve and there was NO MESS!!! The bite size cookies were just right, no wasted cake!!! read more

CBJ iced butter cookies as the best I've ever eaten!! Because Jess is incredibly talented at making the cookies in any custom shape and design I have ordered them for many partys (Super Bowl, World Series (shown below), Christmas, Thanksgiving), and as the guest "favor" for my son's Wedding. Her custom orders are spot on and her shop is always filled with delicious goodness for the spur of the moment or last minute pick up for an occasion or just because. Bad business ethics. Her business hours that are posted online are incorrect. I drove all the way down there in traffic only to find her store closed. I finally got a hold of her and she was not too apologetic nor did she do anything to try and keep my business...I would have offered my customer some free cookies...she could have had a regular customer as I need cookies for events quite often. read more

Stopped by today to pick up Cookies and give out as Christmas gifts. I ended up buying chocolate covered pretzels, bite size cookies and red Rice Krispie treats. I packaged them with cellophane and it came out looking great. The cookies are delicious, and the store is super cute, with a large variety of cookies, candies, etc... My go-to for special occasion cookies! Haven't yet tried the cake pops, but they look amazingly good. Always have the cutest holiday and theme/gift boxes and bags in decorated containers, ready to go. Great for teacher appreciation gifts, office parties, any time, actually. Don't let the location fool you - it's worth the drive, and now there are two "reserved" parking spots right in front, which makes it even easier to run and grab something quickly. read more

We had a Celebration of Life for my granddaughter on Thursday. There were beautiful platters of cookie dots in all different shades of purple ( my Katherine's favorite color.) Your eyes were just drawn to them. They were just the right size for a couple of bites of a delicious buttery treat. They were so good and everybody loved them. Thank you so much Jess. Love these cookies. They are beautifully decorated and taste great. They are not overly sweet and melt in your mouth. Parking along the street can be a challenge, but there is now a reserved parking sign out front, so if you are lucky enough to get it, you will be right at the front door. read more

A few years back I walked into a bakery hoping to order custom made cookies for my daughter's 21st birthday party. This is the sweetest little bakery in all of Orange County. Their signature Cookie Bites are absolutely delicious -- very simple, buttery sugar cookies with fantastic frosting. The great thing about the cookie bites is that it enables you to order a big, impressive, crowd-pleasing tray of desserts without spending an absolute fortune. I constantly order her big $45 trays that are filled to the brim with cookie bites along with a few larger, decorative cookies. I've ordered them for parties we've attended for New Year's Eve, Christmas, Super Bowl, Easter, Valentine's Day and the list goes on. Also, because she includes so many cookie bites, you can feed an army with one tray. And if you don't need to feed an army, she has a ton of smaller options that are super cute as well. All of her custom work on larger cookies is also beautiful, and she offers other great treats like cake pops, Rice Krispy squares, brownies, etc., although my family is obviously nuts for the sugar cookie bites. (Did I mention we like the Cookie Bites?) I grabbed some small trays and boxes for my kids this Valentine's Day, and they were so happy -- my older one's college roomies devoured it all in about 3 seconds. The shop is an industrial area in Orange, taking up a corner of her husband's automotive shop and definitely cute-ing up the area -- just double check days/hours since they aren't open 24x7. The old adage "You can't judge a book by its cover," is true here. This place looks forgotten, ignored, unassuming, but produces the finest bakery items in Orange County. You enter and have to immediately get into a line. Inside, it is like a aged cafeteria of your childhood. You have to wait for a young lady who can't even look over the top of the counter because there is so much stuff piled high. She stands on tip toes to see you and you have to shout at her and point what you want. The problem is when she sees you, you are near the cash register, so you must say excuse me and walk in front of a line of people to point and shout out what you want. It is so poorly designed and complicated to order. We all endure because like the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld, the product is worth it. They sell the world's best Olive bread, scones, and strawberry crossants. If you survive the line, you make it to the cash register, pay, get a bag and leave. There is no where to sit. There is no internet. They shuffle you through and on to the next one. The pastry items are incredible and worth the trouble.

Someone cut in front of me and they didn't care. Free parking and plenty of it since it's a large plaza.

We decided to pick up a couple of loaves of bread. We got one sourdough and one cinnamon brioche. We tried them both this morning. We made French toast with the brioche and made sourdough toast with butter and jam. Both were excellent. We were only going to buy the loaf of sourdough but the guy helping us told us it was buy one, get one free so we choose the brioche. What a deal! We don't know if this is their regular deal or it was for the holiday or what but we were thrilled. We don't live in OC but we're not too far so we can come visit our friends and pick up more bread when whenever we want. So happy we tried the bread. If you live in OC and want delicious bread I suggest you try them.

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.
