We tried the mango sago dessert and the double skin milk with fresh fruit--both were super fresh, not overly sweet, and had that comforting homemade texture. The mango was ripe and fragrant, and the milk pudding was silky and smooth. Drinks were also a nice surprise, especially the creamy ones like avocado milk. Rich but still easy to drink, not heavy or artificial tasting. Service was friendly and patient, even when it got a bit busy. Everything came out quickly and nicely presented. Overall, a great spot if you're craving traditional-style Chinese desserts with a modern, cute twist. Perfect for a casual sweet treat or a chill afternoon stop.

This review is for their event/buyout experience only…read more Overall it was a positive, delightful experience. It was easy to plan and the event coordinator was professional and responsive to their guidelines (2 business days). There were some things that could be improved. Planning - Two tables were missing two seats so a total of 4 seats weren't there as they were in the info packet diagram. It required some improvisation and worked out ultimately because some of our guests no-showed and the other table had children who sat in their parents lap. - Having done (and loved) their previous afternoon tea service before, I assumed guests would have their choice of tea. In actuality, you choose 6 teas for the whole event. There's no mention of it in the packet and we didn't find out until we arrived. You only get so much time to set up so it would have been better to be able to choose the teas ahead of time to think about everyone's preferences. - a few times I'd send over a numbered list of questions, and they would respond in paragraphs, which generally answered my questions but did not always answer all of them, which meant I had to re-ask or just assume we could figure it out later. Day of Service - Many guests didn't know how much they could eat per the tiered platters. It would have been nice if the waitstaff informed the guests what the items on the platter was and how many items each guest was entitled to. It seemed like most of the time our items were silently delivered and there wasn't a lot of checking in. - They didn't come by to refill the water for our 6 teapots often enough, so we often had empty pots for long stretches of time. Overall a good experience with some tweaks would be really great.

Had to opportunity to check this place out prior to our trek back to NorCal, immediately following AYCE shabu, and I'm glad I didn't pass up on the opportunity, given that my stomach has seemingly reached full capacity. As we entered, we were gifted the pleasure of a warm greeting by a staff member who then sat us down and gave us first-timers a brief overview of the menu, his recommendations, and a brief history lesson about the origin of Fluffy Fluffy. After some waiting, we were presented with three aesthetically pleasing plates of these highly hyped fluffy pancakes. I then grabbed a knife and fork to cut into the stack of pancakes and was astonished by how... for a lack of better word, fluffy they were. Upon first bite, I expected a rush of sugar to register after a few seconds of chewing. However, that sensation never came. The pancakes were just the right level of sweet. A few minutes later, the plates were completely cleared and I was back to suffering from again reaching full capacity and thought to myself, "when will I ever learn?". All in all, great hospitality from staff, clean and upbeat ambiance, and most importantly excellent dessert items that were easy to consume without the feeling of developing instantaneous diabetes after finishing. Highly recommended.

Ehh-not sure how I feel about it…read more The soufflé was decent-got their matcha tiramisu and it wasn't too sweet or bland. I also ordered their waffle salmon sandwich-it came with fries and salad-large portion but wasn't impressive. The restaurant was empty and we had to wait awhile for the cashier to come out to help us-even though there's a little window that I can hear as well as see the chef and cashier talking. Lots of tables to sit and very bright kiddish environment.

This week were herbal tea samples! :))) Meet Fresh is a Twainese dessert chain focus on shaved ice with red bean soup desserts and boba. I stopped to try their matcha dessert along with a Hong Kong egg waffle, and both really hit the spot. The matcha latte was not overly sweet, with that slightly bitter, earthy taste you want from good matcha. That said, the Thai Ice tea is good but desserts feel a bit watered down compared to what I remembered. The base prices seem reasonable at first, but once you start adding toppings or upgrades, the total climbs quickly and can be a little shocking at checkout. The HK matcha egg waffle was fresh, warm, and had that perfect contrast: crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. It's a simple item, but when done right like this, it's super satisfying. Honestly, it pairs really well with the matcha desserts. There a several tables to enjoy your teas.

Came here the other day to catch up with a friend and we both really enjoyed it. This spot is located inside an Asian market next to a dumpling place, and they had so many different desserts to choose from that I honestly couldn't decide I ended up playing it safe and got the bubble waffle with red bean filling. The waffle itself was really good.. crispy on the outside and soft inside. I just wish the red bean filling was a little more smooth and pasty instead of having whole beans, but it still tasted really good either way. My friend also got one of their pudding-style desserts and we both loved it because it wasn't overly sweet at all. Perfect balance of sweetness and super refreshing after eating. Definitely planning to come back to try more of their desserts because everything looked so good. Thank you for the yummy sweets ... you've officially gained a forever customer

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.

The ube slush, the crunchy flakes, the square jellies, the boba, vanilla ice cream and the flan were absolutely delicious. I know people mentioned that it had jackfruit but I didn't seem to find any in mine. The service was ok, they weren't the friendliest or the most helpful when asked about the menu but the service was quick. The only main complaint I had, was that it was a little pricey for not filling the cup a bit more and having large ice balls on the bottom of the drink, which I had initially thought were coconut jellies at first but sadly mistaken. I don't mind ice but it's already a slush so if anything crushed ice or little ice nuggets may have been better, otherwise the drink was great!
