Al Pastor Torta #19
Tiffany L.

Cook's Tortas has been around for years with their extensive menu of tortas with sides. From vegetarian to loaded meat tortas, they will have something for everyone. My friend and I got the Al pastor torta and the carne asada torta to try with a side of sweet potato fries. The bread is soft and the meat is always packed in. I did find myself preferring the asada to the pastor as it was juicier and meatier. Although this is a casual, order at the kiosk restaurant, the staff here are always friendly, asking if we needed anything else and bringing us water. I did find it on the pricier side though as one sandwich came out to $21 including tax. But overall, if you're looking for a casual spot with solid tortas, good service, and easy parking, this is the place to be!

Lengua Torta #69

I've been coming to Cook's Tortas with my family ever since I was a kid and their food always hits the spot! My go to order is the Lengua (beef tongue) Torta! Pillowy soft and toasted bread with thick cuts of lengua, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and mustard nestled inside. The flavors are phenomenal! It also comes with a side and I always choose the Ham and Cheese Macaroni! I'm not kidding when I say I can eat the Ham and Cheese macaroni every single day and sometimes I order just a large bowl of it! I love that you can also upgrade the size of the sides to a bigger bowl. The sandwiches can be pricey, but honestly so worth it because of how big the portions are. Customer service is always top tier! The staff are always so kind and will answer any questions you have. Huge perk that you can also call in ahead of time to place your order and they offer curbside pick up. If you want to dine in, simply order at the cashier and they'll call you when your food is ready. Lots of seating inside and very clean. Free parking lot available too. Cook's Tortas will always have my heart and I will continue to recommend it to everyone I know!

Mojito

A little pricey but so is everything right now am I right? The service was too notch, friendly and fast. We tried the " mojito"pork was delish and the sweet onions and garlic sauce flavored perfectly with it. Sweet potato fries were crispy and had the perfect salt ratio. My coworkers had the al pastor torta and the bombero. They both enjoyed them. I like the way the menu is laid out with your choice of beef, pork, chicken etc in matching color All of the sandwiches can be wrapped in lettuce. They say their meat is never frozen Each torta was about $17

My first time here i highly recommend this place , a little pricey but very good, I had carne asada torta , the bread is amazing the meat perfectly cooked the potato salad for a side is a great combination it's delicious . Also the Jamaica drink is 100% natural Not to mention great perfect customer services . Definitely coming back .

We've been coming here for years, but the last two years we've only gone once a year and I think it's only after we forget that it's not as good as it used to be. It's a $20 sandwich and the quality is degrading. The meat is dry and chewy. We always order the bombero, it used to be good.

Been coming here for a while and it's still as delicious as the first time I visited. They offer a great selection of sandwiches with different types of meats and they also have a few vegetarian options. I love their macaroni salad and their aguas frescas. The staff is always nice and they are fast to get their customers fed. The restaurant is small but they offer outside seating and to go. I would recommend you give the a try. The Bombero is my favorite.

Turkey and Cranberry

In the mood for sandwiches, we ordered ham and turkey with cranberry sandwiches, both were delicious! Also got side of macaroni and potato salad, unfortunately both needed a little bit more seasoning!

I bookmarked Cook's Tortas back when they used to write their sandwich descriptions on a chalkboard. It's been long since abandoned and here I was trying it for the very first time. I thought sharing 3 tortas would be fitting for a first time situation. I ordered the following: -la diabla #666 ($18.99): mayo, grilled chicken breast, jalapeño, chile de arbol, habanero-guacamole, grilled queso fresco, black beans -carne asada #5 ($18.99): mayo, grilled beef, pico de gallo with jalapeños, avocado, lettuce + sour cream -bbq pulled pork #40 ($18.99): mayo, bbq pulled pork, coleslaw with red onion avocado sauce A lil pricey, however, the sandwiches are a bit longer than your typical torta. And each sandwich does come with a side (ham & cheese macaroni, potato salad, fruit salad, fries, etc). I did not heed the warning and enthusiastically bit into La Diabla, nearly singeingi off my ear hairs. It Is indeed spicy. Not spicy, but SPICY. I wish I could handle spice better because I feel like La Diabla sounds like tasty party. Of the 3, I liked #40 best because this was a very good bbq pulled sandwich - the bbq wasn't too overpowering and the coleslaw offset the sweet bbq taste. To be honest, what pulls each sandwich together is the freshly baked bread. It's this soft, pillowy bread that is the perfect vessel for all torta concoctions. Go wild. Choose what sounds good to you and I'm 100% sure it'll be a top tier torta.

I tried Cooks Tortas for the first time today and it was amazing! The Tortas that are a part of the lunch special are the perfect size for a hearty meal without being overly full. I got the cubano and enjoyed the flavor, though I would say that it is not the traditional cubano flavor. I believe there was added hoagie dressing which gave it a good garlicky tang. I ordered online, and while it was not done on time as expected, it was only a few minutes late and the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable about the order status. I will say, I did try to call to be sure they were open as it's New Year's Eve, but no one answered the phone listed on Google. There is a lot of seating inside, particularly for groups of 4 or less. There is also some seating outside, so bring your dog!

Omg a true mom and pop place, hole in the wall....just 5 min away. I loved the name The name, Little Cowboy. I ordered the #2 taquitos, but it came as the #1...no matter, i loved the flauntas,, they were huge, crunchy, and I had them with the fixings which was lettuce guacamole and crumbled queso...5/5. It was preceded by chips, they tasted fresh and crispy, nearly all were, except for that first one...but i used the chips to scoop up the awesome frijoles, the frijoles were da bomb 6/5, just traditional fijoles, nothing fancy...perfection. The Jamaica was refreshing and not too too sweet. Nothing was overly salty, and it was all reasonably priced. What's a hidden gem. Don't be put off by the exterior of the place...its good here. I'll be back to try everything... especially the chile relleno. I love it when I can support a mom and pop place. Especially when it's so yumm!! Oh and shoutout to Diane for the friendly accommodating service. She made the in-restaurant experience lovely and comfy for this single diner. Thanks Diane.

Date of visit: May 10, 2026…read more Selections: Enchiladas de Mole Experience: We had called on Saturday, aka the day before Mother's Day, to see if we could make a reservation, but were told to show up early and we will be seated regardless if our whole party was fully there. We were going to be there a bit before 11:00AM originally on Sunday since their website said 11:00AM, but Yelp said 10:00AM was when they opened. So my husband called on Sunday to check and they did indeed opened at 10:00AM. When we got there, there were already three sets of groups seated and they had to rearrange some tables for us since our party was nine people, which only took a couple of minutes to arrange. We were served complimentary chips and salsa as well as water as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. I had quickly chosen my dish cause I'm a sucker for mole and there were only two options that had it, so I ended up getting the enchiladas de mole. The servers were great and the food was as pretty good too. I ended up taking leftovers home since I had eaten too much chips and dip before my actual food came cause the server refilled our chips on our end of the table like four times. The mole was pretty good and I wish there was more of it and didn't really enjoy that there was veggies inside the enchiladas since I think I was expecting more chicken than veggies inside. Not a big fan of beans, but they were pretty good with the melted cheese on top and the rice was good too. I definitely loved the decor they had and the designs painted on the walls because they eee so pretty and provided good photo op backgrounds.
