Rotten Chile, scrambled egg, tons of cilantro and lettuce core. Disgusting

I ordered a Chile relleno burrito. They gave me a sour( starting to rotttt) Chile, no cheese wrapped in a beaten egg. Tons of cilantro and lettuce. It was disgusting. I had 2 bites and trashed it. Who serves garbage? Food prices are already expensive, to have to throw it in the trash.

    Wet burrito

Came on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered a wet burrito with carne asada -- so yummy! There's a small parking lot located outside the restaurant. Only entrance/exit is through Fremont, so entering the lot can be hectic. Service is so friendly! Card is accepted as payment.

Small but gets the job done!

Where have I been? Lol this place is so close to me and just realized it's here. I had their taquitos plate. It was good. I would grab it again. The ambiance is hole in the wall if you like that vibe (I do). They were fast and gave three types of salsas for the platter. They were also friendly and no nonsense. I'm Viking back to try their sopas soon!

Food is much better then expected. Will definitely come back. Customer service is excellent and friendly. Prices are average but well worth it. Small dinning area but cozy. Place looks clean.

Yummy barbacoa tacos! I Love the agua de jamaica here too. It's not too sweet. The torta de asada is flavorful and big.

Anyway, onto the food: -Seafood Gyoza, not sure what kind of seafood is inside, but it was crispy and paired nicely with their ponzu dipping sauce. -Geso Fry, fried squid legs with a spicy mayo was decent...but I enjoyed the gyoza more. -Japanese Chicken Karaage Salad was HUGE, generous portion. My mom enjoyed it, and I think it's already lightly dressed, but they still gave more dressing on the side? -Savory Japanese Monte Cristo French Toast, while I didn't try this, my mom says she liked this dish very much. Served with potatoes and salad. -Taro Sago Souffle Pancakes were delicious. Light, fluffy, bouncy and *not too sweet* -- really enjoyed this! They do serve it with a tiny scoop of ice cream, that I mistook for butter/cream, lol, but it melts quickly so if you're wanting this as a dessert/finisher, I'd probably say to wait for it at the end. However, since these souffle pancakes already have 30 min. prep time or longer, I don't know if waiting for it would cause an even longer stay at the restaurant. One unisex bathroom available that was clean. Service was a little slow at times, but I understood as they were very short-staffed...I just can't imagine the flow & delay on weekends. Parking is plentiful and shared for Atlantic Times Square. Restaurant space is clean, bright and A/C worked really good.

I didnt know whether to walk up to the counter to ask for a table for 2 or if they were going to greet me to sit me at a table. They apologized for not seeing me and told me to pick any 2 top table. They really do mean 30 minutes minimum to make the souffle pancakes so order that first if you plan on getting them!! I got the mango one and it was jiggly, soft, and had a tang to it! The intererior was very narrow, and you are very close to the next patron. Noise level was decent. I came during breakfast, but I would love to come back and try their lunch menu!

There are some great views from the top and outside is nice and shady with big trees and a nice size porch. The owner and family were so welcoming as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed a spread of tea sandwiches, warm scones with clotted, cream and jam, fresh fruits, and an assortment of teas each of which were so delicious and perfectly prepared. My personal favorite was chai which is from a recipe from a family friend, my friends' favorites were the peach oolong, sencha with Matcha, and their rose black tea. We were able to try as many as we wanted! Service was amazing. Ellie was our host and server and she did such a great job. The fruit garden was our favorite. Their tier consisted of berries, plate of desserts and a tier of sandwiches. Also served is a basket of scones along with a platter of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs and the curry chicken sandwhich were my favorite but all the sandwiches were pretty good. Price is a bit high compared to other afternoon teas but we were here for a special occasion. Staff was very nice. She would come and check on us or if we needed something and knocked was very responsive.

We chose to sit inside, but they also have patio seating as well. We quickly ordered their My pistachio latte and cafe latte. The Cafe latte came out really hot (which is what we wanted) but my pistachio latte was lukewarm and it had more of a Matcha flavor to it than pistachio. Both looked so cute and tasted good but I preferred their cafe latte. My aunt ordered their American Breakfast and I ordered their Good Morning Omelette (basically build your own omelette). Their dishes were really good, especially their home fries. My aunts eggs and bacon came out perfect. My omelette tasted really fresh with lots of fresh veggies, like spinach, mushrooms, and ham. The only hiccup that we had was that the food took almost an hour to come out. I think they had an issue with the ticket, and didn't get put in so it came out way later. Our waiter Fabian was very apologetic and gave us a discount on our bill. Because of the friendly service and the good food, we will definitely be back to try other items.

On my last visit, I sat at the bar with my husband. He ordered the breakfast sandwich, and I had the Mediterranean eggs. We both wolfed down our food, but the sandwich was way too small. It looked like it was on a grocery store hamburger bun. As my husband is 6'4", he shared the rest of my meal with me. The Mediterranean eggs were so delicious. The spicy labneh is the bomb. Also loved the little salad with pickled onions. Service wasn't bad. They were definitely packed and we waited about 10 minutes before finding seating. I been here 3x this month alone & I've sat at the bar on all three occasions. 1st. We were recommended french fries with our espresso martinis which hello why say no but I kid you not our food was sitting on the counter (where the food comes out) for more than 15 minutes before our server at the bar gave it to us. I had to ask them (they were talking to 3 different servers the entire time) to grab them for us lol thankfully, it was just french fries. And mind you, the fries were the only thing out so obviously they were ours. It was not busy. 2nd time I went it took extremely long for someone to come and take our order mind you there was like two people at the bar, including myself and a friend and about 3 to 4 servers behind the bar, talking to a customer and their dog, touching the dog petting the dog (gross) and overall distracted we called them over like 3 times and I swear we were being ignored! Took them over 10mins just to get us water not even counting the drinks we asked for! 3rd time I went, I know you're probably thinking why do you keep going back if their service is so bad but I'm not kidding when I said I used to love this spot. Any who I ordered food and saw with my own two eyes the food runner, wipe her sweat fix her hair and touch the food not wash her hands and not run a single thing...It was as though she was just hired to stare at the food... lol we sent it back and asked them to remove it from our bill which they did. Each and every time I go these days the service staff look like they can't be bothered and are always talking amongst themselves, which is fine but at least take my order and not make me wait 20+ minutes for some water and drinks while you're getting your chat on with people you see every day... I feel so bad saying this, but they should definitely reevaluate their protocols because the ambience this whole thing gave off was not good. I was embarrassed to say the least when my friend said he hated the recommendation. Ugh .
