3 Specialty Tacos x 2. Whiskil Tacos. Cremita & Taco De Chicharron. So good! ( ^_^)b
    Kevin M.

We came to redeem our SGV passport items as the time is getting closer to the expiration dates. Los Taquero Mucho is located on the outside patio section of the BLVD MRKT. The line wasn't bad at all and staff explained which items we could redeem. The deal was for BOGO on any specialty taco for up to 3 tacos. My wife ordered 3 Whiskel Tacos which were all vegan. And I orders 2 Cremita and 1 Taco De Chicharron. The orders took 10 or so minutes to be ready but it was certainly worth the wait. These tacos were delicious! I really enjoyed the freshness of the tortillas. The cremita was unique with all textures and ingredients. The pomegranate seeds gave it a nice pairing to the chicken & crema. My wife loved her Vegan option tacos as well. Everything about their tacos was memorable. I can see why if a popular option at the BLVD MRKT and well worth the redemption from the SGV passport. I'd love to come by here when we visit this area. There were more options from the menu I'd like to try. I think others should come give Los Taquero Mucho a shot. Thanks! ( ^_^)b

BOGO up to 3! What a steal!

My husband stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. We were there to redeem an offer from our SGV Passport: Buy one, get one specialty taco (up to 3 for free)! The cashier informed us that we could mix and match our tacos too. I decided to get all 3 of the same: 3 Whiskel (V). The Whiskel tacos have grilled squash with rajas sautéed in coconut milk, topped with chia seeds, and cilantro. They were light, sweet, creamy; and they also went well with the green and red sauces. The chef was generous with their portions; a lot of the squash and rajas kept falling out after each bite. I didn't mind because that meant I had more to eat lol! If we ever find ourselves back here, I would get this again.

Specialty tacos at Los Taquero Mucho are truly an experience, and the deal through SGV Passport makes it feel like a total win to explore the full special menu in one go. El Cremita is cheesy yet surprisingly light, never greasy. The chicken is soft and juicy, and the pops of pomegranate add a bright contrast that lifts every bite. Whiskil Taco is a dream for veggie lovers -- sweet, tender squash wrapped in a creamy, nutty sauce that feels both comforting and fresh at the same time. Mixta Taco stands out with its sausage and avocado combo -- rich, savory, and satisfyingly balanced. Taco de Chicharrón brings a fun textural contrast: crunchy, savory chicharrón paired with fresh, vibrant pico de gallo that keeps it lively. And the Pork Belly Cochinita Pibil? A showstopper. The generous slab of pork belly is smoky, buttery-tender, and practically melts into each bite -- deeply flavorful and indulgent in the best way. If you're looking to try a spread that hits creamy, crunchy, fresh, smoky, and sweet all in one sitting, this lineup absolutely delivers.

Was in the area in the morning looking for some breakfast and found this spot! This restaurant is located inside BLVD market with other businesses. Very cutely decorated and have menu set outside. Breakfast menu is limited but with some very delicious options. I chose to get the steak and egg burrito, they took a few minutes. The burritos itself came out so warm and was delicious. Steak was well cooked and mixed in with egg, beans and tater tots. They also provided a salsa which was so tasty and flavorful, not spicy at all. Overall, enjoyed my meal and hope I get to try something else next time.

Their cochinita pibil burrito is to die for. I've had it twice so far, and it's definitely on my top 3 flavors after birria and surf/turf. Even the al pastor is worth having and has decent flavor at an affordable price. I was a little sad I couldn't add their iced passionfruit tea to my online order, so my boyfriend asked when we got there to pick-up, and the employee said they didn't have it that day. It's definitely a must try since they add the seeds to it. The ambience of this food court is unique and overall a peaceful atmosphere, and I was so happy to find that there are clean public restrooms available. As for parking, there's plenty of spots in a lot just across the street.

Carne Asana Burrito and Al Pastor Nachos

Tried Los Taquero Mucho and it did not disappoint! For two people we split the carne asada burrito (asked them to cut it in half and they did) and the nachos with al pastor and both were super flavorful and filling. The outdoor seating area is really cute with plenty of tables, and it's set up in a courtyard with a few other stands around so there's lots of variety if you want to try more than one spot. Service was super quick and the staff were really nice. We went later in the evening so it wasn't too busy, but I can see this place being a fun hangout when it's more lively. Definitely a great spot for tacos and chill outdoor vibes!

Have been coming here since they opened at the blvd market. The chilaquiles are soooo good and I love that there's beans on the bottom. The beans at the bottom is the reason why this is one of my favorite chilaquiles spots!! Their meats are delicious, I especially love their chicken. I had their Burritos, Tacos, and Quesadillas. I recommend everything all of them from Los Taquero Mucho. Everyone is always friendly here and they make awesome recommendations if you don't know what to get or try. Eating here is so nice and theres a lot of seating so you enjoy your food nice and fresh.

Stopped by to eat at this taquería before attending a small music show a few doors down. My friend ordered the 3 specialty tacos. I wasn't too hungry, so I just ordered a mulita with carnitas for myself. The guy at the register was helpful in making suggestions. The wait? It was eternal!! I understand that they make their tortillas on the spot, but they need someone faster making the tortillas or more than just one person. Maybe they were short-staffed? Regardless, the food was pretty good, especially the specialty tacos. My friend really enjoyed the mixta one. My mulita though? The masa was wayyy too thick. I ended up just taking one of the tortillas off and folding the one with the fixings and eating it like a taco. But yeah, they need more consistency and quicker output with the tortilla. Overall, I'd give them another try if I was in the area.

You'll feel elegant while eating these delicious tacos. The genius behind these great tacos is invited to my carne asada. Wow! You can taste the creativity of each quality ingredient added to create a unique elegant tacos experience in every bite. This is a must try! The tortillas a Mano, amazing! The Cochinita Pibil brings cultures to LA. The Mixta taco is very unique and delicious. The Chicharrón taco is ancestor approved. Great tacos. Mexican tacos done right. Bravo to the chefs and salud to all the staff for tbe amazing experience.

Always a pleasure! Great food, great people, great vibe! What more could you ask for?

First of all, I walked to up the window and no one was there. Waited for about a few minutes and this guy looked at me and walked away. I get my order in and it takes a REAALLLYYYY long time for me to get them. Keep in mind, there was no line and I didn't see people order before me. I've never waited so long for tacos. So I finally get my order and they're SOOO oily!! My hands are drenched in oil. And the tortilla was soggy from the oil ): also these were pretty expensive for what they are. I strong do not recommend getting food here. Save your wallet, stomach, and disappoint and get anything else in the Blvd Market.

My personal favorite is their burrito, pretty much with any meat. They do a great job balancing and rolling it so that you get a good mix of everything in each bite, which makes a big difference. Family favorites also include their carne asada tacos, tacos in general, their nachos, and the tortas de milanesa. That said, the food can be a little hit and miss at times depending on how it's prepared and served. For me, the one thing I usually skip here is the al pastor. It tends to be a little too soupy for my taste, and in my experience it does not have that fresh off-the-trompo texture and flavor that I prefer. As for service, it really depends on who you get. It can be hit and miss, but for the most part the staff is not rude and things usually move along fine. Ambiance is pretty minimal in my experience, mainly because I usually take the food to go, so I'm not really coming here for the dine-in atmosphere. Pricing is decent, the food is generally satisfying, and this is still a spot that has earned its place as a family favorite over the years. Not perfect every single time, but definitely a place we've enjoyed and will keep coming back to.

Looking up 'Best carnitas in LA', and there's a good chance that 'Carnitas El Momo' will pop up in your search results list. Starting as a food truck in Boyle Heights in 2015 (which is still open), this brick-n-mortar location with indoor dining in Monterey Park opened in 2022. It ended up being a bit longer walk than I anticipated coming from the East LA Civic Center Metro station, so my brother and I were drenched in sweat on this 90+ degree day. We walked into the air conditioned uncrowded building, and were friendlily greeted, and offered a simple taco of pork burnt ends. It was good and gave us a taste of what the rest of the meal would be like. Between the two of us, we ordered a sample of each taco ($4), stuffed in a decent tortilla. The meats are available are buche (pork stomach), cueritos (pork skin), maciza (pork shoulder), and migajas (burnt ends). We also got the Mix (all the meats aptly named aPORKalypse) and also a mulitas ($12 for all the meats except stomach). Everything was ordered con todo, which meant a lot of cilantro and pickled white onion with lime wedges. I also got a large horchata ($6). There is self-serve water available near the simple salsa bar (choice of a hot green sauce, and even hotter red sauce and hot pickled peppers). All the meat is cooked in lard low and slow and seasoned according to the patriarch's (aka Momo) original receipt from Salamanca, Mexico. The slow simmering definitely was noticeable and we enjoyed the flavors. My favorite was definitely the Mix, with a nice blend of texture. I think have a crunch factor (like chicharron) would have added even more texture, but I understand that would not be authentic. Also I noted that they call buche here pork belly, which is a very different pork belly than in Far East Asian cuisine. I like buche though in moderation, and this version was very good, especially mixed with pork muscle cuts. Pork skin by itself in a taco is too much for me. I would definitely get the mulitas again, replacing the pork skin with buche, and putting on it a milder sauce than the hot ones offered...definitely need a lot of acidity to cut through the very fatty meal.
