Today's buffet lacked! Trays were empty, starting w/the chicken fajitas, spinach enchilada, potatoes, Chile colorado, asada, rice I had to scrape! The Chile colorado was not the same in consistency from prior times I've been there. Also, menudo was not available. I did see chicken pozole( no hominy) available + a different item (sopes) but already prepared looked messy! What really made our day here , was the young woman server, so attentive & on top of everything, making sure we were doing alright. 10/10 I tried the spinach enchiladas 7/10 Salad 4/10 wilted salad no bueno Rice is good Chicken fajitas 7/10 Chile colorado 5/10 not he same today Asada adobada 6/10 Cucumber gets soggy after a while mixed in lime juice w/the cantaloupe & oranges. Too much inconsistency! Presentation is everything to the eye when you eat!

Stopped in for lunch while working in the area and opted for the buffet, which was the best value. The food and service were decent. Not great but it got the job done. The space has a nice modern cocina feel, though the music was a bit loud for a lunch crowd. Overall, a solid stop if you're nearby, but not necessarily a spot I'd go out of my way for.

Well right off the bat I came to try Chonito's all you can eat breakfast brunch I've been wanting to try and it didn't disappoint! The service was real good all the waiters including the Manager/Owner was super kind and welcoming. I thought I had the stomach to really eat but 1 1/2 plates of food is all my stomach allowed me lol I loved their Chile verde de puerco it's so flavorful and tender like butter not rough at all, I tried their Chile Colorado as well but it can use a bit of seasoning but still the meat was tender soft and juicy texture overall was perfect on all the meats! It's really clean inside and I love that they played some chente and other og Mexican folk music. The vibes was amazing and I highly recommend this to everyone that's looking for a great Mexican Buffet. Much love to the staff keep the great work and hospitality till next time

Chonitos has turned divey and dirty over the years. I remember coming here back when they first opened and the experience was definitely different compared to today. The food experience is alright and plenty of drunken afternoons were had here! I feel the quality has changed, and drinks are getting pricier. Never tried the lunch buffet, but have heard it's not too bad. The service is a bit slow here, waiters kind of disappear in and out. The overall layout of the restaurant is a bit odd as well. I think they need a bit of modern renovations to bring the place up to date. Overall experience was alright. I think I would return to try the lunch buffet. A modern update and step up the service a bit would make the experience better next time.

STEAK and CHICKEN FAJITAS were so good.

It was here where I introduced bowling to my mom and we come back every year to bowl as a family. When we arrived, it was only a 10 min wait and staff were really nice to squeeze us in since it was pretty a packed house at 10 am! Things were nicely renovated and the AC was a comfortable cool to escape the heat. Snack bar was open but we didn't get anything. I do miss the foozeball table, air hockey, and the few arcade games that lined the hallway at the prior establishment. Despite the gutterballs, we all had a great time and thank you for keeping this place alive and going. We'll certainly be back again!

TLDR: Improved technology, more modern look, still affordable…read more I had been meaning to check out this newly reopened bowling alley for a while now, so I'm glad I finally got to go! I'm not sure if it's being run by the same owner or if someone else took over, but the building looks much more modern now. It's a little bittersweet to see all the nostalgic pieces of my childhood gone, but it's hard to deny that it's for the best. Prices were still pretty affordable. The staff member let us know that there's a cheaper deal on weekdays, which is pretty normal for bowling alleys. There is clearly a lot more seating on the top floor. The addition of all the tables is really nice. I also noticed that they removed the extra TVs that used to either play ads or sports and stuff. They also got rid of all the pool tables that I never saw anyone use. The screens and control panels are all updated to this modern design too. Something else that was interesting was how the old bowling ball racks were moved to the side of the building to make room for bag hooks behind the people bowling. Although it's a good idea, it's kind of hard to watch your belongings when they're behind you like that, so it leaves your stuff kind of open for stealing. It's also easier to grab the bowling ball you need though because they're all in one place instead of spread across the whole building. The only thing that I kind of hate is the seating down by the alley. There's actually less seating down there with these standalone dining table sets replacing the old benches. Since our party arrived when there were many other people there, we only had one side of the lane while strangers were on the other side. It's just a little awkward to sit at a dining table with strangers like that. Not to mention, the seating arrangement left a lot of people standing and kind of made it hard to communicate with each other. In terms of bowling mechanics, I think the amount of time it takes for the bowling ball to return has been reduced significantly. I'm so glad we don't have to wait ages for the ball to return for the second throw! The machine also didn't seem to experience incorrect racking, which used to happen all the time here. Sadly, the screen does not tell you the mph your throw was at anymore. I always thought that was a very helpful feature, so it's a shame to see it go. Lastly, the floors seemed well cleaned and waxed. I didn't have to powder my shoes and felt like my bowling ball glided pretty smoothly down the alleyway. Overall, I think this bowling alley is nice. I'm glad to have an alley that's close to my house again!

The decor is also very nice, it's like a transformation walking into a tasting area in a winery. I get why this place is the way it is, it is a different persona from the other owned establishment, but wine can be intimidating. You have the reds, whites, the sweets, the sparkling and etc. Not only the difference in profile, but you can pair it with food to enhance the overall flavor. There's potential to display educational decor or have sessions to educate. They do provide a wine club, but small steps can establish commitments with a new customer base. The pizza is delicious. The sauce is great, the crust is solid, and the toppings are of quality. If you want something light and fresh, the Margherita. The most underrated pizza since we are all accustomed to a lot of toppings on pizzas. This is a must try. This place out of the other owned spots has burrata cheese. I think adding mozzarella with burrata would improve this pie, but nonetheless still good. The truffle pig pizza was also good. If you're looking for meaty and something not too light, this would be a good option. I definitely will be back. Thanks for everything!

I remember when it was the Diner on Main and, since then, the interior has been remodeled. The interior is comfortable, clean, and the lighting makes the place quite intimate. As for the food, I thought it was very well-seasoned without being too salty. These were the dishes we got: Chicken Salad ($28): A cold chicken salad with fried taro strips, pickled peppers, shredded carrots, cilantro, and sweet pickled onions. I thought this would be very bland, but it turned out to be my favorite dish because of how refreshing it is. The chicken is boiled like hainan chicken and seasoned with a light, tangy sauce. Everything went well together. 4.5/5 stars Orange Chicken ($18): This is a pretty typical orange chicken. I don't think it wow'd me, but I liked that it wasn't overly breaded. 4/5 stars Black Pepper Filet Mignon with Mushrooms ($25): I'm not a huge mushroom person, but I really liked the mushrooms here. It was a combo of oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms with cubed filet mignon. The beef was also really tender, almost melt-in-your-mouth. 4/5 stars Shrimp in XO sauce ($25): This dish was slightly spicier than I expected, but it was also pretty good. The size of the shrimp was huge and the vegetables were on point. It had snap peas, bell peppers, and mountain potato (aka Japanese mountain yam). 4/5 stars The service was very attentive and the owner of the restaurant was very kind. The owner helped us mix the chicken salad at the beginning of our meal and helped my mom cut her birthday cake at the end of the meal. 5/5 stars for service. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
