If the reasoning is because they're "appointments only", then let us know. I give this place two stars...only because they apparently pay TOO much attention to how your hair looks. So if you don't mind waiting, then this is the place for you. But most people don't want to wait that long before being seen. I won't be going back.

Today was unique as I had not had a haircut since this whole COVID-19 thing started and so she had a lot of clean-up work to do. My first haircut there, months ago was just ok. I hesitated to return but I will admit, I was desperate after 2 months of no haircut. I was frustrated by the scheduling, I was scheduled at 11:05 and finally sat in a chair at 11:40ish. I was told that there was a 'scheduling mistake' and granted, he was polite, professional and apologetic but I felt I was switched around to fit in a regular customer with another stylist but in the end, it worked out cause Kristen was amazing. I will return because of her. Quality cut and high-end experience.

Don't lie about it. If you can't then I'll move on. But when you wait until you're in the middle of the cut to realize you don't know what you're doing, that's not acceptable. Did you think I wouldn't notice what a mess you made of it? I was actually speechless when she turned that chair around. But I was a good sport about. I told her I didn't like it but she could just stop. I paid for it and even gave her a tip. But please know I'll never come back. Just be honest and pass up on that one haircut. It's better to not have made that $35 than to get it and a bad review.

The service is consistently excellent, and the prices are unbelievably low compared to other barber shops, yet the quality of the haircut and beard trim is always the best. The shop carries a huge selection of hair products and even offers free Wi‑Fi. Rick is incredibly generous and always has free coffee, hot cocoa, candies, mints, cookies, snacks, and even donuts on weekends. He truly spoils his customers. Sid Sr. started cutting my hair when I was 8 years old; today I'm 63 years old. Sid Sr. retired and his son Sid junior has been cutting my hair for about the past 25 years. You will not meet a better person than Sid junior. We have gone fishing together several times. Sid Sr and his brother Billy are outstanding musicians. They have traveled the world playing music there entire life. I always look forward to getting my haircut! Sid junior is like family to me.

Billy especially will take the extra time to look for stray hairs and just overall pays attention to the cut. I don't know how to describe this stuff because I'm not an expert, but it beats the hell out of going to Procuts or wherever and having someone clip around on you while they're waiting for perms to set.
