Called to get a service appointment. Told it will be 3 weeks. I accepted it. 3 weeks later nobody came. Called and and was told service person was held up and can we come the next day(ok fair enough) The Next minute the service person called and said i can be there in an hour. Told him the office said tomorrow. "Oh let me check and call you back" No call back received. Next day after the appointment time passed we called and were told service person held up and will be there later. So after blowing two appointments we just called and told them to cancel. We called another company, and they said we will be there Tuesday. No 3 week wait this time! and they already sent us a text which will update us on the service persons arrival. A waste of 3 weeks, and if we ever need something fixed quick who wants to wait 3 weeks! read more

I learned a costly lesson. If you aren't having a problem with your ductless ac do not call for a spring checkup. a service man came, turned remote on and off, cleaned a clean filter and vane, went outside and looked at condenser. For this I paid 149.00+. Not a joke when youre over 80. read more

Owner Jim basically took the job and my money and left. Over a month of back and forth , gave him a long leash since he seemed like a nice guy. End of day he looked me in the eye after month back and forth and told me "I'll be back first thing the next morning "and he was a no show. Poor customer service. Air conditioner stopped working and apparently a part was needed that was difficult to obtain. Office provided little to no feedback on eta. Part finally arrived after about a week and was installed pretty quickly... unfortunately ac stopped working later that night. Workers came back the ext day and tried unsuccessfully for several hours to fix the issue. Was told the new piece must have been defective and a new part will need to be ordered again. Don't blame the workers as they truly looked like they were trying to fix the issue, the the office/owner never once followed up to let me know a new part being ordered (maybe offer to expedite... something?). They choose to go radio silent and do nothing. Got a new guy in who fixed the issue within 2 hours. Biggest issue is any lack of respect for the customer's time or the decency to follow up with any type of update. Still never heard back from owner/manager... disappointing, but better off. read more

I wish I could give them negative stars !!! one is to good for this utmost unprofessional extremely nasty horrific excuse of a business. I have never in my life wrote a bad review on anything but this is just unbelievable. After waiting for 8 months for a part to come in and being told it due to covid they can't get the parts. This we understood , didn't like it but must understand we are all in this together. Finally when they did come to fix it the service man handed us a bill at which time we said it's under warranty or should I say it was when it originally broke. He then called the office and they told him the same thing. No charge . A few weeks later we get a bill in the mail for $473.61. After several phone calls to talk to the owner about this bill with of course no return call back. My husband goes down to the office and is told " well you should have bought a better unit" . CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS !! The owner who sold us this one said it was perfect for our kitchen/ dining room area. At a cost of $3,000 mind you. The owner then yells at my husband don't pay the bill just get out of my place and don't call here again. Today I get a bill for the same amount saying if not paid you will be put into collections, of course I call them right away but she can only take a message. I know from all the times i've called to say it's not working no EVER calls back. Save yourself , never use this company. read more

I have dealt with this company for a number of years now, and they have steadily gone down hill. At this point basic customer service is non- existent. I booked a yearly maintenance appt for my cooling system and was told they would arrive "after 12." I took the day off from work since this basically is the whole day. At around 4:30 pm I had yet to see anyone, receive a phone call or a text. I called them the receptionist told me someone would call me back... nothing. The day was a waste. I called the following day and the service took my number again stating I would receive a call... nothing. In addition, I have spent thousands due to the fact the first outdoor unit they installed crapped out within 1.5 years. Owner told me they were made out of state so they were faulty. One sub- standard tech, who no longer works with them, took 5 mins for a maintenance check!?!? Also, installing the incorrect thermostat during the first installation. Overall, they are a disgrace in all regards, especially basic customer service . read more

They did a great job installing 2 systems in my house. Central AC upstairs and a split system downstairs. During the install, there were 5-6 guys working hard and the finished everything in 1 day! They cleaned up after themselves and kept the house clean. Happy to be a customer! read more

Total disaster! We had an a new top of the line TRANE system installed improperly and have to replace it in less than a year. Have tried repeatedly to contact them and no return call or email or text. He is a good sales person but they put a system that does not go in the attics (water 90%) and vented it out a pipe onto the roof - total HACK. The electrical was not hooked up but he put a fake shut off switch on top. We r so sad about this total scam. We had two great experiences with Cool Solutions and the owner Jim. First we replaced our hot water heater. Their estimate was lower than the others we got. They were professional and great to work with. They replaced it without issue. They even came back to make sure everything was working properly. Next we converted to gas and at the same time converted to central air (we already had pushed heat so we did not have to do any duct work). Again, Jim gave us a great price and offered to help with financing. The crew came in for the whole day and removed the oil tank and did the conversion. They were clean and tried to be as disruptive to our daily life as possible. Again they came back to make sure everything worked properly and came the first time that the heat turned on since it often smells bad. We had a minor issue a week or two later and they sent someone right over and he had it fixed in minutes. We've recommended them to many people. They deserve 0 stars. This is long, but worth the read. I waited about 3 years to finally write this - I couldn't stomach to think about my experience and recount all the B.S. I went through. Here's the short version...bought my house with existing 3 year old unit. One condenser wasn't working well, and all wall unit blowing room temp air. They send a young guy named Emil (or something) who shows up in his personal car. No tools. Says I need more refrigerant, so he added some without measuring or using any sort of pressure gauges. He went inside and held his hand up to the unit saying it's blowing cold and it's fixed - no thermometer, and it was still blowing warm. Charged me over $200 and it still wasn't blowing cold. He said give it a few days. I called back a few days later and spoke to a despicable man named Augie. He asked if I knew who original installer was, and I told him no. I didn't elaborate and tell Augie that I do know that the original installer is a commercial installer and did the job as a favor to previous owner because they are family friends, but he didn't have time to help me. Augie asked for the unit's serial number and said he would call me back. This is when the real circus began... Augie never called me back and dodged my calls for 2-3 weeks. In the meantime I called Fujitsu and explained the issue and they were floored by the incompetence of the technician Emil and couldn't believe that he added refrigerant without using pressure gauges to measure. They told me I had to have the unit dumped and re-weighed back in and that it would cost well over $500 to do this. When I finally did speak to Augie he took a turn for the worse with his attitude. "I did some research and let me tell you what I found out. Your unit was installed by a fly by night installer who isn't certified and the whole system wasn't installed properly." A complete lie. Then he went on to say that the unit was a salvage from a house that was destroyed by hurricane Sandy. Also a complete lie as I did some research base on the serial number and was told by Fujitsu that the unit was manufactured years after any major Hurricane that we had. Augie also told me that since the technician who installed it was not a Fujitsu certified technician, the warranty is complete voided, so I need to keep my mouth shut for my own good, or he was going to call Fujitsu to tell them to void my warranty. I called Fujitsu myself and relayed ALL of this to them and they assured me that all of that was false. I demanded that they come back, dump the unit and re-weigh it back in, but Augie refused. I spoke with the owner Jim who said he would speak to Augie for being so rude and get back to me with a solution. I put all my cards on the table about the nonsense that Aguie told me vs what Fujitsu had to say about it. He then dodged my calls for a week or two and when I spoke to him he doubled down and sided with Augie. Ultimately I called P&B who dumped and re-weighed the unit, then properly diagnosed the issue as being a loose valve. They said if the other technician took any time to actually diagnose or look at anything, this whole issue would have been avoided. This cost me over $600 in addition to the $200 plus originally charged by Cool Solutions. I demanded that Cool Solutions reimburse me. Jim said he would do me a favor and refund the $200ish that I spent with his company. Months and countless emails later, I finally gave a hard deadline as to when I would be filing in court for the full $800 I was in because of their mistake. Jim never responded, but his daughter did. She was the only one who was actually a nice and decent person. She sent the reimbursement and hand wrote a letter apologizing and then signed her dad's, Jim's, name. It was a disgusting experience full of incompetence and lies. My issue should have cost a simple service call fee - something around $125. Instead it cost over $800 and a ton of headaches. Even with the $200 I got back, I still spent roughly $500 more than I should have because of this disgusting company. This business should for the world a favor and shut down. read more

I hired Cool Solutions 7 weeks ago to diagnose a Fujitsu Halcyon System which kept shutting itself off with a "Communications Error" (which I determined myself). The first visit, the tech thought he fixed it but it failed again before he left the house. The tech left without charging me since he'd have to come back with more time. The second visit, the tech believed he diagnosed the problem as a Zone Control Board, for which part number I'd asked for, and he wrote down on the invoice, for which I paid for the service call. I called them days later to see if they got the board, but they hadn't tried, saying my 8-year-old system wasn't supported by Fujitsu any longer. I called Fujitsu. They did support it, and the part number written down for me turned out to be invalid, not even recognized by Fujitsu. I called them again another day later and told the "owner", Jim, about this, and he said he'd look into this and certainly get back to me. I emailed him with details of our conversation per his request. I didn't believe he'd ever get back to me, so three days later I found the PC board on eBay and got in in about 5 days and changed it myself. It was not the problem. It was, as I was told, the problem. It wasn't. I immediately called another HVAC guy, and a week later, my system is fixed because of a $25.00 thermistor that failed. And Cool Solutions never called me back. Cool Solutions was listed at the TOP of Fujitsu's Authorized service techs, but I found out that the "points" these techs get are for the number of courses they take, and they all take the easy ones just so they can say they're certified. In 2008 my husband and I converted to central air. We asked Cool Solutions to recommend the best type of air conditioner to keep the house at about 65 degrees. My husband likes it cold. Since we had the unit we have had to replace the freon every year because I believe we were sold a re-conditioned unit that was damaged with a leaky a frame. In addition, the air handler and the motor were two different manufacturers leading us to believe that parts were taken from older units and a unit was built out of used parts. Every repair person that has come into our home has commented on the location of the air conditioner. We had to pay to have a filter access built because the handler was installed in an area that's very difficult to get to. Finally, there are rooms in our house that never get cool. The ductwork was not installed properly. Please do yourself, your home and your bank account a favor and don't do business with Cool Solutions. read more
