In a time where excellent customer service is essential, Dr. Ian Young and his staff meet and exceed all expectations that one may have when looking for a quality dental care provider. As a person who is no stranger to the drill, I used to dread going to visit the dentist! Now a trip to his office is quick, painless, and most of all HONEST. Most offices these days are trying to recommend something that a patient really doesn't need, but would be nice to have. Dr. Young and his staff were very upfront and honest about the best course of action to take towards my dental health, without pushing unnecessary products and procedures. (my definition of integrity) Everyone on the team, including Katherine, Jennifer, and Dr. Young were courteous and cheerful taking the anxiety away from the normal visit to the dentist. On my most recent visit, I was in and out of the office in under two hours for a crown procedure. The CAD/CAM process and equipment makes the entire process for fitting a crown possible inside a two hour window! As a professional pilot and instructor, I am always seeking businesses that are up on the latest technology and procedures. Worst experience ever. Three years ago I was in desperate need of a root canal. Being new to the state of Arizona, I did not have a dentist, especially not an oral surgeon. I searched the web and someone mentioned this location so I thought I would give it a try. I had had a root canal before and knew that, if done PROPERLY, you could be fine in a matter of hours using nothing more than Advil because the point of a root canal is to DESTROY THE NERVE. I spent more than 6 hours with Dr. Ian Young, received an awful permanent tooth that resembled a lego and was sent home. I went back the next day in tears telling him how much pain I was in. His only solution was to prescribe vicodin. Ridiculous. Now, three years later, I went to an amazing oral surgeon and was informed I would need another root canal on the SAME tooth because I had an infection at the base of the nerves due to poor cleaning by Dr. Ian Young.I was also informed I would need to get another crown because this crown does not fit properly and had a sizable gap where infections can breed. I had the root canal replaced by a much better oral surgeon in the morning and was eating a sandwich that afternoon. Thank you for wasting my time and money Dr. Ian Young. I am one of those persons who was terrified of the dentist due to a previous experience receiving a root canal. I had vowed after that experience I would just try to take care of my teeth the best of my ability (flossing daily) and never go back. Well, that was not a sustainable plan and after many years I had a dental issue which needed attention. My sister recommended this dentist to me stating that they were awesome (I thought she was lying just to get me to go start going to a dentist again). I made the appointment and was told that a root canal was needed. I was completely terrified at the thought of having this done due to the past incident with the other dentist. To my surprise (and I am still shocked about it) I had no pain during the entire process!!!!!This dentist and their whole team is really amazing. It is evident they are passionate about their work and their customer service is really phenomenal. This experience has completely changed my attitude about going to the dentist and I will never see any other dentist than this one. When I walked in for the first time, the office was clean, professional, and modern. I appreciated the computer self-checkin as a new patient (saves errors, time, and paper). I became drawn to this office by the CAD process (computerized, get a crown in a day, great fit and no painful temporary!), as I needed a poor fitting crown from my previous dentist fixed. My first visit I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel welcome as a friend and not just as a customer; I look for and appreciate good service! Dr. Ian Young is very respectful, friendly, honest and accurate in his work. I instantly felt confident in his team. I have had a CAD crown, filling, and a couple cleanings so far at this office and have never felt rushed through door or pressured into any unneccessary work. I'm usually very nervous about dental work as I've had 9 crowns and a multitude of fillings over the years, but his office staff make me want to keep up the good habits and return again. I am petrified of the dentist and usually will avoid all dental appointments but Dr. Ian Young made me feel comfortable and at ease. He explained everything to me before he did the procedure. The ENTIRE staff was friendly and courteous. Dr. Young, his assistants, and staff were attentive to my needs and continuously asking how I was doing. I could tell they cared about me and my pain. I will be a loyal patient to Dr. young no matter where I live in the valley. I will recommend Towne Center Dental and Dr. Young to all of my family and friends.So when I thought the dental experience was a good one and the day was over Dr. Young called me at home to check on me and to make sure I was doing good. I give my whole experience here a 5. The staff is friendly and very helpful. My first visit here was in september 2010 because I had chipped a tooth. I hadn't been to the dentist for 6 years because of bad experiences at the dentist, so I was kind of nervous, but the WHOLE staff made me feel at home and took the best care of me. I called them as a referral from my brother in law. They were able to squeeze me in the day I called and took great care of me until I was done. I have been working with the dental staff to make sure that all my dental problems are fixed. Their payment options are awesome and easy to work with. Their staff is very knowledgeable and easy to understand. I have no complaints with this dental group... well except that its still the dentist... but the best I've ever had! This is going to be my first review on yelp as i was so impressed with this office and staff. I had to get two extractions (ouch) I left the office that day with a temporary bridge and very minimal pain. When I got the perminant bridge it looked better then my real teeth did. I am not covering my mouth when I smile as I did before. My smile is amazing. The staff is very inviting and made me feel very comfortable and I could not have asked for better work done on my mouth. Dr Young is very gentle and compassionate. He made sure my experience was as pleasurable as could be. He is the only Dentist I will ever go to. I highly recommend this Dentist office. read more

I had a crown done a couple years ago and all the sudden it broke in half. I went back to their office and let them know what happened. The dr took a look and let me know that he would replace it for me, free of charge! Well I had to wait a couple months for a Dr release, and I got a call that they received the release and were ready to schedule. I went back, and found out that Dr Young was no longer there (super sad!), but the new Dr also honored the agreement that they would replace the crown for free! Great service! I was taken in as a new patient and had full x-rays completed in minutes. Dr. Ian Young was great. He was able to complete my checkup and review my x-rays immediately. After my checkup he advised that I needed a cleaning, and Jennifer was able to help me maximize my insurance benefit and fully explain my entitlement. Lori then started my cleaning and was able to do my whole mouth instead of having to make another appointment or multiple appointments. Great experience was able to complete everything in one visit. I had a toothache and they were able to get me in the same day and do all my treatment. Dr. Young was awesome, he explained that I needed a bridge. His benefit coordinator Jennifer was so helpful too. She helped me understand my insurance and also helped me with payment arrangements! It's soo hard these days with the economy, but they have a really great program with tight budgets. Dentists usually make me nervous, but Dr. Young made me feel comfortable. My husband and I both had some dental work done at this office. We both saw Dr. Young. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. His work was great. The office staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. The office is clean and state of the art. I like that they take pictures of your teeth as well as x-rays. So, while you sit in the dental chair the dentist can pull up the pictures of your teeth to show you exactly what he is talking about. Dr. Ian Young DMD was amazing. I was a new client with an emergency and they got me in within an hour. I had a broken tooth and in a good deal of pain. They accepted my insurance and were close to home. Dr. Young made me feel at ease that I would be feeling a lot better than when I came in.
