I couldn't have asked for more. The only suggestion I would make if anything would be to add screens to all windows so they could all be opened. We were there when it was hot and there were only screens on a couple of windows. Important with Alaska mosquitos! Still 5 stars though, we had fans! Cindy provides everything but food. So generous! Even soap, shampoo, paper towels, tp, coffee, etc. The cabin is about a half mile from kenai lake boat ramp. Also next to several stores and a nice restaurant (princess lodge). Will def go back! This cabin can sleep 6! There are two bedrooms one with twin beds and master room with king size and a twin. Then there's a pullout futon couch which is very comfy. Full kitchen and a bathroom. We cooked breakfast and dinner here every day thus saving money as it can get expensive to eat out three times a day ! The view here is awesome! The river is right outside your cabin! The view is unbelievable with the mountains and river outside! Would come back here anytime to stay.

A group of friends and I rented two RV spaces at Grizzly Ridge for two nights. This was a great…read morelocation with plenty of options for hiking, kayaking, rafting, and sightseeing nearby. Additionally there were actually several restaurants and convenience stores in the area which was a change from the remote RV parks we had stayed at previously. The staff inside the store were EXTREMELY friendly. I have seen some negative posts about religion which I do not understand. Not once did I encounter anyone trying to push religion down my throat, nor did I notice an inappropriate amount of bibles laying around. Also, who cares? You don't have to read the bible in the bathroom just because it's there. I would highly recommend staying at Grizzly Ridge! Also there is a beautiful brand new metal deck area with steps leading down to it right on the river. I'm attaching pictures. Must see! Plus: water, sewage, and electric hook ups!

We rented the lower-level Alder cottage and everything was in excellent shape and very clean and well organized. We had eight in our party and it really allowed us to have enough space to be comfortable. The only slight negative was the living room and one bedroom are affected by the occasional upper cottage ceiling noise but we understood that when we booked so not a complaint. We found the store counter staff to be friendly and customer focused especially when we asked for more towels and toiletries. In addition the on-site restaurant offered excellent menu items and was very convenient after a long day of sockeye fishing. The restaurant staff were also friendly and accommodating especially with our multiple item "to-go" orders. In closing we would highly recommend this location as a base camp for fishing or other adventures.

Expedia called the owner and the owner hung up on them and then came out and started banging on my car where I was trying to speak with Expedia about my options. Horrible experience. Noticed that most of the good reviews for the hotel are from several years ago. I recommend staying away from this one.
