I've driven past this places so many times and never realized it was a restaurant. I'm sure they'd get so many more customers if they more noticeable signs out front. But maybe it's an intentional decision so only people that know, know? I just wish I knew earlier because it's an awesome game day spot with so many giant TVs throughout the restaurant. I came here on a football Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is self seating and it was surprisingly easy to find a spot. Our server was super nice, funny, and friendly. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give us detailed recommendations. I'm not sure which I liked more, my drink or my food. My drink was one of their more popular Hennessy punch drinks and it was probably one of the best Hennessy drinks I've ever had. The flavors paired well with the Hennessy so that you could still taste it but it wasn't overpowering. I got the grilled salmon with yams and rice & gravy for my meal. Unfortunately they were out of lemon pepper sauce so she offered to bring me out the dry seasoning. As soon as the food came out she thought my fish would be better with an actual sauce so offered to bring me out a sauce they topically serve with their salmon bites. I only had the salad with water which was good(I myself wasn't too hungry when we came). But my friends had a burger with yams, wings with potato salad, mac and cheese, collards and garlic mashed potatoes and they were loved their food. Cannot believe I'm just now discovering this place! I was skeptical because of the outside but I'd heard good things and my experience did not disappoint! The food was soo good. These are definitely the best wings I've had in a while (maybe ever). I got the signature sauce and it was tangy, sweet, and savory. I also want to try the lemon pepper flavor but they were out. The Mac and cheese was so flavorful and cheesy and just delicious. The fries were seasoned and good too but I would've liked them a little crispier. Our service was really good. We didn't have to wait long at all for drinks or food and were greeted right away. Their cocktail list looks really unique too so I'm excited to go back and try some. There's so many TVs and the atmosphere was really fun. My only complaint was that they didn't have Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi but I got sweet tea instead and it was delicious - but I'd still prefer a diet soda option. Walking into this space, the house appearance bodes well for the name of the place. House divided is a house that has utilized its space very well to accommodate an indoor/outdoor sports bar. The utilization of the outdoor space is great, there's plenty of seating and I can imagine that during the summer, the outdoor space is their prime entertainment area. My friend ordered one of their quesadillas which took a VERY long time to arrive. Our server accidentally gave it to a man at a nearby table, she returned to take it back after realizing her mistake and went back to the kitchen. Eventually she came to our table asking if my friend still would like the quesadilla special?? Saying the kitchen is behind making them?? At this point everyone else had already received our meals (returned sides and all). She decided to wait as she was excited for the meal. Considering the long time it had taken and the mistake made - she asked if they would discount the item. The server told us that as long as she chooses to eat the meal they aren't going to give her any discount. This is a weird mindset and further dampened the experience. I've been here three times and each time it gets worse and worse. The first couple of times I let it go because it was a new place and you could tell they were still working out the kinks. But now almost a year later and it's even worse. We got there almost immediately after they opened for the day and they were out of most of the main dishes. The food was really good! We were served in to-go containers which I have mixed feelings about, aside from that it was all really good. The spinach dip wasn't hot when it was served to us which just kind of made it more of a solid by the time our food had come out, but the flavor was there. The Spiked Lemonade was really good, but $14 (I got Don Julio for my Tequila of choice). My bf got a House divided punch which has Hennessy, it was served with no ice, I believe ice would've made it better.. but I'm not a fan of Hennessy in the first place. My waiter was nice but she came back to the table about every 40 minutes which elongated our stay.
