We celebrated my birthday here. The restaurant is so nice. It's nice to see the bottles of wine. We ordered a sangria, appetizers, chicken entree and pasta. Everything was delicious. For dessert we got the crème brûlée and cookie with ice cream. Dessert was so decadent. The service was great. Our server was attentive. I want to return soon and try other dishes.

We went to the St. Charles location. The place is very nice and big, lots of seating and parking. We had a short wait, but there are things to see, shop, there's a bar, etc. I like to see the collection of wine displays. We ordered the sangria, chicken Madeira , prime rib sandwich and cookie with ice cream. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. We will be back for the brunch and bubbles.

Bread came with the meal warm and delicious

I went here with my mom on a Friday for a late lunch There is a side area / atrium seating area where we sat Service was slow and we didn't order wine with our lunch so in some strange way I think this left us a bit neglected. Our wait person took a long time to check on us during our meal Food was good but a bit to much oil for my liking Will continue to explore other options in the area A bit disappointed as I know many friends that belong to the wine club and enjoy their time here.

Becoming members here was one of our best marriage choices ever. Cooper's Hawk provides a consistently excellent go-to for date night. It has the best wine in the area with no markup on bottles... amazing. The tastings are always a highlight of the visit but I will also say that the staff here is older, more experienced, and all around fantastic... such a plus in restaurants. They know us by name! It's clear that Cooper's Hawk treats their staff well because retention is high, even through the pandemic. I even know of someone who worked here through a difficult cancer journey and Cooper's Hawk management was incredibly supportive throughout. One more reason to be so happy to support them. All the food is great but if you're stumped then get the Brussels sprout appetizer, medallion trio and truffles for dessert on your way out. And be sure to get a bottle for the table--they can bottle up anything that's left for you to take home!!

Great service! Suggested different items. Great choices. I went in thinking I wanted a moscato not sure how I ended up with a martini It was delicious! I had never been to this location just happened to be in town for a team meeting. I'm so glad this was the chosen place to eat. I watch a lot of food network television and they always talk about braised ribs and risotto so this was my perfect opportunity to try it and it was delicious. I had a small corner left and had to take it with me. I ate it cold that evening. (Only 2 spoon fulls) delicious. I really wish I had gotten the servers name because he was awesome. I can't wait to go back!

Of course the Pretzel bread can not be beat

Curbside order -- late, huge line, had to go inside. Just skip it -- too many other good restaurants in the area.

The inside is relaxing and the outside area is super cute with plenty of seating. There was live music when we were there so we sat outside and enjoyed our wine flights while listening to the music. Can't get better than that! Service was great- the girls working were amazing. I liked talking to Lisa. She was really nice! The wine is incredible! We are sweet wine lovers and that's most of their wine menu. They have so many unique sweet wines. I particularly enjoyed the raspberry dragonfruit, black cherry, and orange sangria. I love how they set up the flights. The first wine you list on your sheet is at the top of the flight and then it tapers down to 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I've attached photos. They also offer wine slushies, which we thought was really cool! We will definitely be back when it's warmer out to enjoy those!

Our driver was patient the entire time when some of the groups got a bit rowdy and overall was a great guide. Things were mostly on time (our initial pickup was a little late) and everything went seamlessly from winery to winery without any issues. They picked fantastic wine spots to visit and we were all very impressed with the entire experience. I booked this for my friend as part of her bachelorette party and it was perfect for that! There was also another small group of girls for a birthday and a few couples there, so really it's for anyone. I can confidently recommend the tour with Windy City Tour Company to visit lower Michigan wineries! It's the best way to get picked up in downtown Chicago, be driven from place to place in Michigan, then get driven back home. Don't drink and drive, be responsible and use Windy City Tour Company!

They kept pushing back saying I will have the credit waiting for me for when I book again but I didn't know when that would be and just wanted a refund. I then hear nothing and ask for the status. They informed me then I was now 19 days away and they have to charge me 10% fee for not being within 22 days as that is their policy even though I had booked the trip only 3 days before. Any company this rude and that makes you go through this many hoops just to cancel a reservation is not someone I ever want to do support! Despite things being a tiny bit disorganized....just a tad! "Once again, I have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to do." I'm not going to name names, but I heard one of the celebrity chefs say this upon my walking into the event. I truly felt a bit bad for the chefs involved because things didn't seem very well put together. The best part of the event was the celebrity chefs! I enjoyed the cooking demos and the silly guys kept them interesting. Ted from Chicago's Best (the show which has guided me to many great food places) was a great host! I was surprised how funny, personable and quick on his feet he was in person. Clemenza's demo was great and Josh was easy on the eyes. :D The demos were great but they need to have a camera on the food and a TV screen so we can actually see what's being done and cooked. The first thing that was odd to me about this festival was that there was no program. It would have been nice if they had a program saying what booths were there, when the demos were happening, with who and what they were covering. When we checked in, we were also given plain wine glasses that still had price tag remnants and told etched wine glasses would be mailed to us. That's sad they couldn't get their glasses done in time. When we went back up to the front to ask what the demos were on, they said they weren't sure but they would happen hourly. Facepalm. Most booths were set up and going when we arrived at 1115am for the VIP time, but some were not. I honestly feel bad for people who paid the full $125. There was not the amount of vendors I expected at all. It was a very pricey event for those that paid for it and I would be livid if I were one. There were a few food samples, but honestly not many. I even saw one lady yell at someone who tried to take a second sample. It turned me off to see her say that to a little old man, poor guy. Many of the samples were very small which was surprising to me because of the pricing, and some of the liquor providers literally gave me one sip of their non-bubbly to try. I was also surprised to see a bath fitting booth? Knives, pots and pans I get...but bath fitting? How does that fit in with food & wine in any way? I enjoyed the beef at Glen Prairie and greatly appreciate the free appetizer card! The pot sticker from Szechwan was yummy and I was surprised they had Mai Tais! I have to say those Mai Tais at Bob Chinn's though were amazing! I can understand now why my family is always feeling the need to go there for meals. Two Brothers had yummy beer and a tasty bite - I've got to make it out to their Roundhouse Brewery! The Bloody Marys were yummy and a good size, I loved the little toppings you could pick and choose from. I was also very happy that there was actually a lot of seating for us to sit with our samples. Honestly though, it was pretty dead from 1115-Noon and there was just a lot of empty space. They could have packed in a ton more vendors! I'm wondering what happened here really....It could have been great! I was happy there was a lot of parking and it was free - a big plus! With booths saying one sample each and nobody selling actually food, it made it impossible for us to stay the entire length of time for the event. We finished up with the booths about 1230 and demos around 2 and rolled out. I honestly wouldn't buy tickets next year unless I saw a vendor list prior that shows a whole lot more vendors than this year. I had a fun time, but this event needs to oil the squeaky wheels.

Thanks to Candice G. from Yelp Chicagoland for setting us up with these great VIP tickets. We had…read morea great time and really enjoyed ourselves. I expected the event to be bigger but I had a great time with all of the vendors that were there. When we attend an event with many vendors, we like to talk to each of them to find out about there product and what there inspiration was. We had some great conversations along the way and made some new friends in the process. I heard that Saturday was very disorganized but I did not experience any of that when we checked in on Sunday. I did find it funny that the guy said to me at check-in, "Sorry we will mail you out your official glasses!", as he handed us two wine glasses. I looked at my wife and said, "He doesn't even have our address!" I guess that they ran out of the official logo glasses. I have no idea why I needed any glasses because every vendor had there own sample glasses. After an hour, I finally ditched the glasses because a few people asked me if I brought my own glasses from home. Of course, I always carry a wine glass with me just for these events! I want to highlight some of our favorite things at the event. First we loved Chad and the rest of the Two Brothers Brewing Crew. We hung out way too much here but had some great conversations about beer and life. I even found out that Chad and I have the same mutual friend...we are like that Kevin Bacon Game. If you have not had Two Brothers Beer then you are missing a really good beer. I highly recommend you try it or pick it up at your local store. Or you could just drive out to there location in Warrenville. We also sat in on a few of the stage presentations. The first session included Ying Stoller who makes Ying's Sauces. She was teaching us how to make pot stickers. My only complaint was the event organizers did not set up a camera so we could actually see what the cooks were making. This is a must in a cooking demonstration and if budget was an issue all you need is a camera, flat screen tv and a cable...yes it is that simple. I could have brought my own equipment from home. We were able to speak with Ying at her booth and had a great conversation. She even encouraged us to post pictures of our attempt at pot stickers on her website. Challenge accepted! Our favorite thing about the stage show was the host. We were so lucky to have Ted Brunson from Chicago's Best as the emcee. If you have never seen him, then you are missing a truly amazing host. This guy put fun in funny. His improv is some of the best you will ever see and I hope Chicago holds on to him as long as possible before some major network scoops him up. We had a great conversation with him and we even snapped some pictures with him. The poor guy had to work all day at the event and then run off to downtown Chicago for the local emmy awards. I also felt honored to help him with his cuff links...he joked with me and asked if I was going to tweet about this moment. I told him I would never do that but I didn't tell him I wouldn't Yelp about it. Ha!!! Our favorite food at the event was from Adelle's in Wheaton. They had an apple, squash, and pumpkin soup that was truly amazing. We also learned that the Metra Station is very close to them, so I see a train trip from downtown in our future. The menu looked really good too. We had a great time hanging with Bob from Mangia TV. He has a great rub and we were able to sample some shrimp and chicken. It was so cute because his brother was grilling everything fresh at the event. He also was able to show us a sample of his upcoming pilot show. I am looking forward to it because they use manly things to cook like a weed whacker and a blow torch...look out Tooltime Tim Allen!!! And who doesn't like hanging with One Fat Guy from Two Fat Guys. Kent Thomas was great...recently we just met his business partner at the Mariano's Grand Opening. Now my life is complete because my circle of meeting both Fat Guys is complete. Kent was also using his spicy sauce to whip up some Bloody Mary's. Wow were those good and we had to walk away because Kent was going to get us blitzed if we didn't. We also got to meet Bob Chinn's nephew Tyler. He was serving up shrimp, crab claws, key lime pie and Bob Chinn's famous Mai Tai's...can I say yum. Tyler owns Chinn's 34th Street Fishery in Lisle and he is serving up some incredible food. The fish was incredibly fresh and is available for your next holiday or corporate party. The key lime pie is one of the best you will ever have outside of Florida. And we can not go wrong with Chinn's famous Mai Tai's...those are so good. Other fun vendors were the Vegas.com crew...yes we tried the slot machine for a free trip to the Cosmopolitan but we were not lucky. Two people won on Saturday and one person won on Sunday...my wife was very close...we were packing our bags! A fun event in the burbs and we can not wait until next year!!!
