Brooklynne my server especially stood out to me, and her professionalism was on another level. I felt like I was treated with very polished, white-glove-level service while she was still warm, respectful, and genuinely fun to talk to. I couldn't help but notice how well she treated customers around me too and was just blown away! If you're looking for a high level of quality service and knowledge on tea and many other boujee things, she's your girl and this is your spot! I've been to many tea rooms and other high-end spots in Colorado before, and I can honestly say I've never had an experience quite like this. It's a bonus that it's in downtown Golden too! Will be surprising my gf for our anniversary here next month .

This place could be better. So much better…read more I was in Golden and there was a large art festival in the park across the street. It started raining a bit, so we headed over the bridge to find a place to have a drink or an appetizer. It's pretty enough inside, just like the pictures show. I wanted to sit outside, but even on the covered patio, water from the umbrellas would have dripped on us. Perhaps rearrange so one can sit out on the patio without getting wet? The problem was with the service and drinks we received. A Happy Hour menu was provided. Everything on there, I think, was half off we were told. My friend ordered a lemon martini and I ordered a mocktail. Her drink was made with tequila! When she sent it back, the server said, oh, so many drinks have tequila by default so that's why it automatically was added. To a martini????? She asked what was preferred, and my friend said vodka. When our drinks came, mine was about a quarter full. Literally a couple sips and it was gone. The bartender forgot the vodka totally so the martini was like a lemonade. So disappointing. We left to pay and the server said the martini wasn't on the Happy Hour menu, and she had to charge for the shot that was supposed to be in it!!! What cocktail doesn't already have the shot of whatever in it? An extra shot was not ordered, not received. Our bill for two small non-alcoholic drinks was over $26. The manager should really do a quality check and train the bartender and staff properly.

My lunch date had the eggs and bacon and I went with their Avocado Chicken Salad without beans with some extra dressing. There was plenty of parking and I love how they have menus for kids. You should know - not every First Watch has a bar, but this one does! And, if you're a mimosa, bloody mary or even a summer sangria lover, you'll be happy to know their cocktails are waiting :) What I've always loved about First Watch still holds true: fresh ingredients, sourced locally when able, and a hard pass on too many processed offerings. Add the friendly servers, the hardworking kitchen staff in the back and the efficiency of the whole place - you've got a great experience every time. I'm a fan of routine and consistency when I'm not feeling adventurous - or when I have a hankering for something specific. First Watch totally delivers here. We've ordered a pitcher of the blackberry muddled sangria recently and love that it's made fresh. We splurged this past time and couldn't pass up their pumpkin spice donut holes and my guy had their seasonal Maple Bacon Croissant sandwich (I had a bite and vowed to order this on our next trip!). I'm a fan of spice and ordered the Chili Chorizo omelette. No bad orders here - and their plating is so nice. I'm a fan, always have been. If you haven't been, this is your sign.

The coffee was hot and our server brought us regular cream as neither of us drinks the flavored creams. The sweetener selection was nice. I had the Elevated Egg Sandwich. It had bacon, an over-easy egg, Gruyère, avocado, mayo and arugula with lemon dressing on a brioche bun. It came with a side of seasoned breakfast potatoes. I would totally get this one again. Delicious. We took our time and had conversation while sipping our coffee. Our server checked on us regularly. I did need to remember to go up front to pay. I always forget that I need to do that here. A note for anyone needing ADA accommodation. This is not a First Watch thing, but the parking lot. So no shade to them. The ADA spot just west of the entrance, in front of Snarfs, has a concrete wheelstop between it and the sidewalk which impedes if you have a chair.

The host was very welcoming, as well as our server. Our server was quite attentive too. The farm decor was cute & I especially appreciated how clean the restaurant was, including the bathrooms. There was plenty of parking. I ordered the Tri-Fecta breakfast. This included two eggs, which I substituted for tossed greens with a lemon vinaigrette dressing, a Belgium waffle & bacon. This was delicious...a crispy waffle but soft & fluffy inside, nice flavor, served with jam & maple syrup, yummy crisp bacon & a light salad. I also liked that the breakfast was served on one large platter & we had a carafe of water for our table. I'm looking forward to returning & trying some of their lunch items.
