The gentleman that worked the gate today (sorry that I don't remember his name) and Colby helped my elderly parents access their vehicle to remove their belongings. They also retrieved the dashcam footage as my parents were unable to figure that out. I can't tell you how much I appreciate their willingness to, in essence, take care of my parents! I live in Florida and it gave me great comfort since I don't live locally knowing that there are kind, knowledgeable people that work for your company. Especially loved the part where my subwoofers were stolen. they told me to get my subwoofers I needed to call adjuster to ask for permission then then I get permission (not attached nor could it be only storage reasons till I could install my sound system one day. ). When GEICO sent it there without my permission when I told them to send to my dealer to empty car out. Then I was given the run around to call GEICO. In the end my subwoofers were stolen... When I had permission to pick them up I cam by and they were magically not there. Must be from the other place they say. Well why were you trying to keep it to sell to the company then. Management is lacking brain cells. They charge you for storage even though you try to pick it up and can't because you have to have an appointment!! They rhymes want to to download an app and wait till the appointment time. The guys loading the stuff are good but I feel for them because management is just dumb. Shitty and unhelpful location. Yard is in terrible condition. Saw two different cars get damaged even more by fork lift because the lot is so terrible. Even with an appointment still waited 2.5 hours. Even though I bought a run and drive, clean title, damage free vehicle and had a dealer plate they won't let you drive it out of the yard or bring it out like every other copart. Paid a tow truck driver $120 to wait with me 2.5 hours and move the car 30 feet. read more

My insurance company uses this facility to store their vehicles. I had to go to them to collect my personal items from my totaled car. They were very nice and accommodating, although I got there almost at closing time. I was able to retrieve my items without any trouble and they even take the plates off for you. I bought 6 cars last week 2/21/2020 my tow truck driver went to take the cars out and it took him 4 hours waiting time and he charge me more then usual from $50 to $75 per car and I understand him that is a waste of time, so this coming week I only bought 3 cars so I decided to go on Monday 2/24/2020and pull the cars out myself and then call my driver to come and pick them up, the guy at the gate started telling me that the cars can't seat at the yard longer then 5 minutes otherwise he will pull them back in and charge me to have them pull out again. I had a Friday off and decided to look at some vehicles at Copart Houston on Rankin Rd. I called them before I went out there to confirm if I'm able to go on the property and look at vehicles. The lady on the phone said I can look at it anytime Monday through Friday. When I got there I stood in line for almost 30 minutes and the lady at the counter tells me that I cannot look at vehicles on sale day (Friday). Very frustrating experience!! I had driven over an hour to get there and also called before I went out there. Nobody that works in the office seems to be a no hurry to do anything. There was a long line of at least 10 people but nobody seems to be in a hurry to help. Folks that I talk to over the phone seems to be very customer service oriented. After 20 minutes on hold , finally a live person. She informed me the driver was stuck in traffic. My benz was salvaged and as soon as they got the notice from my insurance the began blowing my phone up while at work mind you I work 3rd shift with handicap medically compromised kids and babies. We set an appointment to pick my car up for 8am & they were supposed to call 1hr Before arrival time mind you i live about an hr from the auction company. No one ever called Jose the tow driver pops up at my home while I'm at work and refused to wait until I got home to two the car then proceeds to tell my sick mother that I need to mail the key or come drop it off! Buyer beware. You really should inspect the vehicle before you bid if you are actually planning on driving it out. Pay for the pre buy inspection if you are serious. I called the copart at 1655 rankin road to get information on a vehicle and a lady named Katrina answered the phone and at first she was very nice and polite until I asked her if there were any fees, she doesn't say a word and puts me on hold and when she comes back she said there were fees to pay, I asked her if insurance gets billed for those or if we need to bring the payment, she proceeds to yell at me saying that no vehicle can be picked up without a payment, I agreed with her but was confused because normally copart bills the insurance for payment and it was just a different process, she proceeds to put me back on hold again and comes back on the phone talking to someone else about how "I don't want to pay the fees and why quest should pay the fees" which I never said, I simply asked if they were billing insurance. She proceeded to still yell at me that vehicles need to be paid before taking them so I just agreed and asked her what form of payment she accepts. She puts me on hold again and hangs up on me. This was absolutely unprofessional behavior and I have never been treated like this when calling a copart, I am not sure if she was having a difficult day or anything of the sort but it was highly uncalled for read more

Three days ago, we called them about picking up our car. They said it wasn't a problem and asked us to drop off the title and keys at their location the next morning as it was too late to pick up the car that night (Monday afternoon November 5th) the next morning my husband drove all the way there (an hour away from us) to find that they didn't pick up our car (they said about 4-5 times over the phone that they didn't need the keys and that they would have the car) he even called that morning to double check and they said they would have the car between 10-11 am. When he got there they didn't have the car, and they would not specify when they would have it just that would be picked up sometime that day. (Tuesday November 6) He left his keys and they kept assuring us they would have the car that day before they closed. Tuesday passed and lo and behold they didn't have the car. Wednesday comes and he called them again asking about the car and again they kept assuring us it would be there sometime that day. They claimed they didn't know if the driver even have the car or not.They couldn't tell him a specific time of when they would have it just told him to keep calling back. He ended up talking to them over the phone 11 times just on Wednesday. Finally after telling them to have a check or his keys today (Thursday November 8th) and after talking with a supervisor a few times they had the car. We picked up the check and left. Never going to them again. They have so many communication issues and for a large well known company I expected better. read more

I had a question about a damage done to a vehicle that I purchase from them, a lady name Karla was very cut and dry at the beginning of the conversation, to simply put it, if you are not there when they load your vehicle into a trailer with a forklift then you can't claim any damage to it. Karla was less than professional because when I asked her about all the fees I paid for including the loading she simply hang up the phone. I was never rude to her but I wanted answers, so I called back and talked to another lady name Claudia who was more helpful and gave an email address so I can make a claim and express my concern.
