The biggest false advertisement of all time. They advertise Colorado's prices for thousands of dollars below MSRP and their price. I drive down there ready to buy one of their trucks for the price advertised, I ended up literally looking to pay $6,000 more, and the reason is because i did not qualify for any of the offers. Be aware people! Even if it's a big Chevrolet dealer you'd still be scammed to pay thousands of dollars more. See pic. Truck advertised price$29,000 but you'll be paying $36,000 before sales tax. This is for the dealer: try bold big letters telling customers you only get this price if you qualify for our ridiculous offers. The salespeople are very nice and are truly in the customers corner. The management and finance people have no respect for the customers and their time. Long story short, I spent a good 8 hours over 3 days at this dealership and without getting into every specific of the deal I heard one thing which sounded good but when it came to put it on paper they tried to get a few things down thinking I wouldn't notice/remember what was discussed. I walked out based on principle more than anything else, for the disrespect of my time and attitude management gave me, as if selling me a certified pre-owned car without giving me a single dollar off the car was some sort of favor. When I walked out, they literally couldn't care less. At the end of the day they lost a sale over $350. They are such whores with money and nickle and dime you. My chevy impala had a recall, I called and made appointment with someone who was very pleasant to speak to.. However when I went to bring my car for service on 4/28/2020 is another story. The guy name Chris the service advisor is not a people person. While I am standing in the circle away from desk he asked me to move back further not sure why I had a mask and gloves and did not touch anything. Futhermore I am disabled and walk with a cane.. other than Chris being rude when it was time for me to get my car back he told me to walk the parking lot to find it out back. I told him I can't do that and he was rude. I will never ever go to that location again. read more

I am baffled at the lack of professionalism at this dealership. I would give a -1 if yelp allowed. I had an appointment to view a luxury vehicle. Spoke in great detail with the online salesman. So he knew which vehicle I was coming to view. He told me the vehicle would be ready upon my arrival and I would meet with Steve B. I drove from Northshore to Brockton. When I arrived Steve said I would be working with another salesman. Ok fine. So they tell me the vehicle is off the lot with another manager. So now a red flag goes up. I said I made this appt early morning. And you all sent 2 confirmations. Therefore 3 hours later the vehicle is off the lot? Prior to me Scheduling an appointment the rep said they have great sales and promotions blah blah. So I mentioned this to Steve B. He said oh there is no wiggle room on pricing. Well this is strike #2. Then the vehicle arrives after 30 minutes. We go outside and my salesman opens the door. Inside there was a baby seat, shoes and personal belongings. Ok I was like is this a joke? This vehicle is being listed as for sale at a specific mileage on the dealership website. Strike #3 I was livid because I don't play these type of games. They are not professional, trustworthy or customer friendly. I strongly suggest you DO NOT do business here. This dealership really deserves zero stars. I never post bad reviews but this is definitely necessary. I recently purchased a vehicle from Copeland Chevrolet. It has been nothing but HELL with Copeland. It has been a month since I purchased my car and I am still dealing with there bullshit today. When we signed for my car, it was a Sunday. They called us the next morning, not even 24 hours later, asking us to get them the check by that day because it was the end of the month and they wanted their money to meet their sales quota for the month I assume. We told them it is impossible to get them the check that day because our bank had not opened until 10:30am that morning, there was no way they would process a loan and cut us a check in the same day. And even if they could, we work and there is no possible way for us to drive up to a dealership that is an hour and a half away to get them a check. They then called us 12 times within two days bugging us to get them a check so they can have their money. We were able to a check from the bank on Tuesday, but couldn't get the check to them by Wednesday. They didn't want to wait till Wednesday to receive the check because it would fall under a new month. They drove to Rhode Island to get the check from us. They can call us 12 times in two days to bug us to get what they want, but once they have our money, they won't answer any of our calls to find out when our car will be ready to pick up. We finally picked up our car, and when we picked it up we were told that they just have to put the plate on it and its ready to go. We left the dealership with only one key instead of two, no owners manual in the glove box which was there when we test drove the car, and we did not receive any Certified Pre-Owned paperwork which we were told we would receive. After many calls back and forth with Copeland to get what they owe us, and a bunch of bullshit excuses they had, we finally contacted GM Corporate office to deal with them instead. GM was able to mail us everything in the mail, that Copeland was incapable of doing. Fast forward a week or two, and I get a letter in the mail saying my registration will be suspended because they didn't inspect the car. If they had to do a 72-point test (in which they check and/or replace 72 different aspects of the car) in order for it to be a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, then why did they not put an inspection sticker on it at that point. We made an appointment to get the car inspected at a Chevrolet dealership close to us. My car did not leave the dealership inspected today because my car kept failing inspection because it wouldn't connect to the computer. They had no idea why the car would not connect to their computer, but they were suspecting a wiring issue. Now I have to bring my car back to the dealership next week and go without a car for a couple days because there is something wrong with my Certified Pre-Owned car. It's only a 2015. Copeland or GM Corporate better make this right. read more

(April 2015) I found the staff very polite and helpful. This dealership was very non-pressure oriented, as opposed to most. The staff made sure the sold vehicle was clean, fully-fueled and oiled and helped me pair my iPhone to the cars Bluetooth etc. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. 'Ping Pong' negotiations were very equitable and this was not a stressful experience. I have had truly awful experiences at other dealerships. I felt the staff were actually interested in striking a great deal for the customer and this included not putting great sums of money-down and getting a good rate on the note. In the past I have had such bad-experiences at dealerships that I have wanted to return the next day to have a full-do-over. However, at COPELAND CHEVROLET every effort was made for courtesy and a comfortable environment and a GOOD DEAL and I entered and left extremely happy. My car continues to run great. Bought my second car from here 3 years ago and it has been nothing but problems since getting it. I chose a 2012 Malibu certified pre-owned. First, the steering column needed to be replaced 5 months after buying it. New brakes shortly after that. The check engine light has been on for multiple reasons over the years. Issues with the electronics in the dash. Now, the door/passenger window seal is leaking causing water stains and puddles on my floor. Called service to ask if I could swing by later to check it out as well as order a part for my electric rear view mirror and sunroof controls (it was disconnected and missing the piece that connects the wires to the mirror). The mechanic didn't seem to know what I meant with the mirror at all. After trying to explain the issue for about 10 minutes in various ways, I was was told I could come in today to check out the mirror part but they would have to do a water test to see where the leak was, so I'd have to come in another time for that. I asked if I could bring it in Saturday and was told "we don't staff enough on Saturday" isn't Saturday a busy day? so I asked when they had an available appointment and wasn't given a straight answer. Ended the call on the premise I would go later to get the part ordered. After hanging up I felt my issue would not end up being resolved here, andthe mechanic didn't seem very knowledgeable. I stopped by McLaughlin Chevy in Whitman instead and spoke with the person there who understood my issue immediately. Within 2 minutes I had an appointment for next week. Now reading the other reviews, i will definitely never be returning and will be taking my business to McLaughlin! read more

BUYER BEWARE Today stopped by Copeland Chevrolet in Brockton as we are in the market for a new car.Looking at small to mid size SUV's.So we walked around the parking lot for about 15 minutes looking and thinking maybe someone working there would step outside to see if we needed assistance but no one came outside.So we decided to go inside and started looking at the vehicles in the showroom as I am looking for brand new.We started opening the doors on the cars in the showroom as they were not locked and it had to be obvious that we were serious shoppers how ever there were several sales people their sitting at desks starring blankly at their computers oblivious to customers.I drove in, in a Chevy Malibu so did they think I was a window shopper which I was not.But I will tell you this my next stop to shop will be Ford as I walked out of Copeland Chevrolet like I had been invisible and obviously with service like that they do not need business so I will take my business elsewhere.Saw Copeland Toyota on my drive home and wondered if you'd get the same service there.Won't be buying from COPELAND DEALERSHIPS! read more

A DISHONEST DEALERSHIP Copeland Chevrolet listed online a new 2016 Chevy Silverado for sale. I called the dealership and inquired whether this truck was still available The sales consultant told me that this particular truck was still for sale and also mentioned that someone else was interested and may be looking at it later that day. I told the consultant that I could be at the dealership in an hour. When I arrived at the dealership the sales consultant I spoke with on the phone introduced me to a young salesman. I explained to the salesman that I was interested in the special online price of$25,690 for the Silverado He told me that he would bring the truck to the front of the dealership so I could test drive the truck. About 10 minutes later, the salesman returned and mentioned that the truck I inquired about was sold. He told me that he had similar trucks at the special price. Come to find out, there were not any trucks at the price that was advertised and that I could buy one at $33,100 Needless to say, I was very upset that this dealership lied and wasted my time. read more

I recently bought a 2015 Impala LTZ from salesman Chris. He didn't know much about the cars electronics package. Every question I asked ended with "I don't know" or "I think so". On the pick up day I messaged him to confirm the car was ready. I get there and the car is not ready and I'm told I can pick it up but will have to come back the next day so they can finish what they needed to do. The car was not cleaned in the inside and there was still trash in the center console. The mylink does not have navigation like he said it did. Turns out the onstar is only turn by turn and does not include a mapping system. An 8" screen and no map.... I contacted him and he would not work with me to resolve the issue. I asked for a manager and got no where. I called their main number and asked for a manager and was connected to Chris, who is not a manager. Seems they go out of there way to ignore you till they know you're stuck. A bunch of scummy people. Go elsewhere. read more

So because of that I thought I would stop at the dealership and that's when I was approached by Carlos one of the sales associates, he flat out told me I wouldn't qualify for any of the rebates and that there was no way I could get into one of their trucks . I had my truck towed here on Friday. On Monday I received a call that my fuel pump needed replacing and it would cost $900 and was told my truck would be ready on Tuesday. I received a call on Tuesday and was told that I needed a fuel module which means they replaced the fuel pump for no reason and to boot they overcharged me. I I had to call again on Wednesday and told that they were still waiting for parts. Well the bill was now up to $1400 so I called another gm dealer to get the price of the parts I was given a much lower cost (over $300). I did bring it to their attention and they lowered the price. I would stay far away from this dealership since they are very dishonest and are nothing but lying thieves. had I gone to another dealership for serviceI wouldn't have had to pay for unnecessary repairs for a fuel pump that was over. $1000 -- basically I gave them $1000 for NOTHING read more

Beware!!!! Service department is rude. I waited almost 1 hour after they looked at my car to check out. Ignore the coupons in the value pack. I called them because of the coupon but they add a bunch of extra limitations on it so that it cannot be used. My truck was in the garage for ten minutes and I was there almost two hours. When I called back to discuss I was spoken to by a very negative and arrogant service rep!!! Not all women are idiots. I was raised by a mechanic and only go to a dealer when it is my last resort. I never write reviews, not even a little. But there is no way I'm not warning people about shopping here for a car especially if they are trading in something. Everything was going fine with the test drive and customer service and then we sat down. Waited a while, around half an hour which I don't mind too much because when it comes to buying a car I know it's not a 5-minute process. The salesman comes back with a trade in value of around 50% of kbb value of my car without any extras. I asked him if this was the best trade in price they would give and he replied yes. I told him that this was insulting and walked out. They were saying something about the bank loaning money for the car. Have not received a follow-up call or message. I've bought 4 cars in my life, Lance was the worst salesman I have ever dealt with. He epitomized everything bad you hear about a used car salesman. I took the car I eventually bought for a test drive and he brazenly lied to my face about several sounds coming from the undercarriage. (another dealership confirmed) He then offered to hand write a customer satisfaction clause in the sales contract but began arguing angrily with me when I asked him to word it to a legal standard, raising his voice in childish frustration, openly in front of other customers and causing a scene SNL would have written onto their show. He sold me the car without an inspection sticker telling me to get one myself and send them them the receipt, "they didn't have an inspection station on the lot yet". When I called weeks later to ask why the paperwork for the Certified Warranty hadn't been submitted to GM the sales manager hung up the phone (-after I finally blocked my Caller ID so that he would answer). Lance began several unsolicited and harassing phone calls BS'ing me about the warranty, I had to call his supervisor to stop him. As an EMT, if I were assessing his mental status at a scene I'd suspect a history of psychiatric problems. My impression was that he's a problem employee, one that Copeland dumped on their Brockton dealership. Copeland sucks, Brockton Massachusetts sucks, and if you buy a car there you'll get what you pay for. read more

Stay away!!! I had an appointment for 1pm. Showed up five minutes early. At 1:15 the lady at the front desk came over and told us that it could be another hour until we were seen. We decided to wait, while waiting, I get a call from the woman in the dealership asking if I was still coming. I had already been there for 30+ minutes. At 1:45 we finally got the okay to test drive a black 2015 Ford Explorer. It wasn't in awful condition but it did have rust. I took a right out of the dealership parking lot and all was going good. About a mile down the road this noise starts. A piece from the undercarriage started dragging and eventually broke off while I was bringing the car back to the dealership. The clips that held it on were clearly rusted and in awful shape. They said that mechanics must have missed that in the garage. They also play the game. I called and a woman answered and as soon as she heard I was a female she said "you wouldn't believe the interest we've had on this vehicle" and "have you heard of our March madness deal". First off I don't think anyone's looking at that vehicle and I hope no one ends up getting sucked in....... read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions that I had with Russell Grant (salesman), Jason Pappas (general manager) and Steve (business manager). I was seriously looking to buy a new car for my wife for Christmas and had actually spent a few days tire kicking at quite a few dealers. I had narrowed our vehicle preferences down to either a Ford Explorer or a Chevrolet Impala, depending on whether my wife preferred an SUV type vehicle (Explorer) or a full size sedan (Impala). I am not the type of person to buy on a first visit. I like to view what's available, visit a lot of dealerships, get a feel for the people at the dealership, etc. I was impressed when Jason came out to speak to me after my first visit and test drive of an Impala at Copeland, but did not put any hard pressure on to make a deal immediately. He made it known that he wanted to sell me a car, but he did it without being too pushy. Copeland Chevrolet was actually one of the last dealerships that I actually visited, but my initial impression was favorable enough that I put them on my short list for round 2 of my vehicle shopping, which was the point at which I had already been approved by my bank for financing at a nice, low rate (3.24 percent) and ready to actually drag my wife around in order for her to test drive the vehicles and make the final decision. Our decision day came (Thursday, December 10th) and my wife and I started hitting the various dealers on my short list. She actually drove the Impala first, was suitably impressed and showed a preference toward the highest trim level (2LTZ). We then headed to the Ford dealership that had an Explorer that was on my short list, went into the showroom for assistance and waited and waited and waited and waited. We couldn't find a soul in sales. Some lady in a second floor office window kept looking at us, but obviously didn't summon anyone to help us. We then went to Copeland Chevrolet and she test drove the vehicle that we ultimately bought, but we didn't buy immediately. We decided to try that Ford dealer one last time, found someone willing to put a dealer plate on the Explorer, she test drove it and.................her personal preference went to the Explorer by a slight margin. Truth be told, she really enjoyed both vehicles. Now came time to chat with the manager at the Ford dealership. The salesman I had dealt with in previous days was supposed to be there from noon time on, but was a no-show. OK, things happen and we are now talking with the manager anyway. He's higher in authority, so I figure this is better. Well, any thoughts of a deal quickly blew up when he openly questioned my veracity when I told him that I had offers from other Ford dealerships on the same vehicle/option package that were clearly $700 to $750 lower than his. Rather than sharpen his pencil and do some extra math, he opts to sit and argue with me on whether or not these other Ford dealerships really offered the prices that I mentioned. It may have been a negotiating tactic on his part, but it just rubbed me the wrong way. My wife and I then started down the road toward Ford dealer #2 with the offer currently sitting at $750 lower than Ford dealer #1. I get five minutes down the road while my wife and I are both flabbergasted at what we perceived as disrespectful conduct by the manager at Ford dealer #1. Already a bit incensed at how we were treated, I then started explaining to my wife that I was also a bit miffed at how Ford treats veterans with incentives. Ford only gives a veteran discount if you are active duty, retired or within a few months of actual discharge date. Chevrolet was not pulling that crap. Their discount worked to the benefit of all veterans, even old goats like me that got discharged over thirty years ago. At that point, my wife says that her preference for the Explorer wasn't that much over the Impala, so let's skip Ford and start negotiations with the Chevrolet dealers. Agreed!! We decided to return to Copeland Chevrolet at this point for a couple of reasons. First, they had put much more effort into "selling" us versus a couple of other Chevrolet dealers whom I will also not name. It's not that these other Chevrolet dealers had done a poor job, it is just that Russell (salesman) and Jason (general manager) definitely made a more concerted effort to answer questions, supply test drives, evaluate our needs/wants than any of the others, whereas at other dealerships I was made to feel like a pain in the neck for bothering someone who had their face planted to their IPhone screen. As I told my wife, since we have now settled on going with an Impala, I felt that Copeland earned the right to have first crack at my dollars. Negotiations were tough, but friendly. Negotiations with Copeland was just like any other new car I've bought (this is my sixth new vehicle). They want to maximize their profit and I wanted to minimize it. In the end, I think both Copeland and I are very happy at the final number read more

I would like to share a story about a salesperson that cost himself 3 sales. My salesperson Robert Fuller supposedly there product knowledge king decided not to follow the steps to selling a car. I approached a sales mgr and let him know I was interested in the new Malibu. I was assigned Robert Fuller. I was taken to the area where they had Malibu. I liked a sporty black one. Still no offer of a test drive. We proceed to his desk where he took info down mind you still no test drive. He asked me about my trade and I would be willing to trade it if I got $2000 because I could sell it for that. I admitted to Robert I had been ill the last 2 years and my credit took a hit. Mind you he went to the desk and most likely the desk mgr was too lazy to run my credit. The finance mgrs are tied up so he would have to get back to me. I let Robert know I could pay cash if I had to. 2 days later no call no follow up. So after spending 10 years in the car industry I decided to call a sales mgr. I told him my story he really to me was all about defending a lazy salesperson. Well to make a long story short I purchased a 2017 sporty Malibu. Oh and it gets better my dad recently passed and left me a nice inheritance. I paid cash and got a terrific deal and was treated like a king. It gets even better a few of my business associates In my network group wanted to buy Silverado. They are going in to the dealership I bout my Malibu at. Highly successful men that probably will buy 40000 trim level. So Robert lesson to be learned don't prejudge customers who had a bump in the road. You cost yourself with the 3 vehicles you could have had purchased. I know $500 dollars goes a long way in these tough times in the car industry. An apology would be nice. This was the second Chevy dealership I went to. The first was much closer to where I live, but I was less than thrilled by the service there...I was actually pretty put off, so I decided to drive a bit out of my way to try Copeland. I'm glad I did! Everything was great from the moment I walked in the door! They bent over backwards to earn my business. Their service was outstanding, and I never felt pressured. And to top it off, the numbers they gave me beat the other dealership significantly! They did extra things they didn't need to like transferring my plates for me so I could retain my Bronze Star plate on my new lease, letting me take the vehicle home so my wife could drive it and picking it up later, and delivering the vehicle to my home because my son was born on the day I was supposed to pick up the vehicle, 8 days early! Like I said, from start to finish, I couldn't be more pleased with the service. I would absolutely recommend to all friends/family. read more
