Great food ...tried the Churro French toast and it was amazing. Service was friendly well worth the wait.

Came here with a group for breakfast and the service was fast and friendly. She separated our checks which was very appreciated and was extremely accommodating to some guests coming later than others. I ordered the Southerner Benny. The gravy was yummy but the biscuit was a little too filling for me with how heavy the rest of the dish was - I'm sure people love it but it just wasn't for me. The cheesy hash browns were amazing, I mean who doesn't like cheesy hash browns.... This place is a classic family restaurant style/atmosphere but with more food options/variety. This was my first time and I can't wait to come again!

Excellent food, I especially love their scrambled eggs special, the eggs are always so incredibly fluffy, bacon is nice and thick, their sourdough toast is perfect, and they have options for fruit or various different types of potatoes, can't go wrong!! At peak times they can be busy and there can be await, however, it's not usually very long if you read a few emails while waiting the time flies and the weight is usually not as long as they suggest.

Have been wanting to come here for a while- Enjoyed my meal! Lots of great options to choose from. You can get fruit or potatoes AND toast or a pancake with your omelet which I thought was great! Not super cheap but it's a lot of food. Also tried the banana bread latte which was okay but kind of watered down. All the workers were very friendly! I would come again!

Super family style breakfast, brunch or lunch joint near downtown Waukesha. Food was really great. Will return. (Try the Sante Fe Cooparito The Coop Club or the El Toro Omelet).

Delicious breakfast spot with a bomb burrito option! We waited about 25min for a table for 4 on Mother's Day morning, which wasn't bad at all. Service was fast and friendly. They have a kid menu, but it's not listed online that I could see.

There's plenty of parking and easy access in to restaurant. They are always busy and there was a 10-15 minute wait which was accurate. As soon as we walked in the NOISE smacks you right in the face and ears. The restaurant was spacious and clean with a nice menu but the NOISE makes it almost unbearable. My wife ordered the Crème brûlée French toast which looked good but was extremely sweet and quickly turned mushy. She would not order it again. My mother in law ordered French toast and bacon. The bacon was hard and difficult for her to eat and the French toast was average. I ordered a BLT, added an egg to make it a BELT, and then added cheese to make it a BELTCH sandwich with crispy fries and a cup of chicken dumpling soup which came with the meal. I even told the waitress that I hate soggy limp fries. Because I lost my smell and taste 5 months ago I asked my wife to try the soup, and when she took 2 spoons I knew she liked it and she told me it tasted good. My sandwich was nice and thick, full of good food and the lettuce was very fresh but they were hot house tomatoes. My fries arrived COLD and SOGGY . I would order it again, however, I doubt we will ever return to the restaurant. The WOMENs restroom is under construction so they have to share with the men and I would think that a restaurant that size with only one functioning restroom is a health code violation. While waiting in line to use the men's restroom, a very nice lady told me that it's been under construction for a very long time. I noticed that there were 4 men inside of the restroom standing around TALKING and NO WORK was being done. They made sure to try to keep the door closed every time someone walked by. I sure hope that they are not being paid by the hour. If you try out the restaurant, Take ear plugs and schedule extra time for your visit. The restaurant is average at best,

I stopped at The Coop for my birthday breakfast. The service was impeccable. The server was so kind and really explained items on the menu even brought out my French toast with a candle on it. The food here was extremely delicious. Such a home-cooked feel. Would definitely go back.

We met up with some friends the morning after a wedding to enjoy some breakfast, we were seated right away. The menu is large enough, there is something for everyone. Our server was so friendly as we were all a little undecisive at first. I enjoyed a delicious creme brulee latte and the breakfast tacos. Others enjoyed some of the skillets and coffees. We thought the food was delicious and a good amount for the price. I would love to stop by another time and try more!

We were seated almost immediately and were given menus to review. There are six pages of food options which is almost overwhelming, not including the specials, which was options of fish choices - cod cooked three different ways with a side choice. My spouse chose breaded and I chose baked. Each with a baked potato, which was baked with sea salt on the skin. Keira, our server took out order and in five minutes showed up with a bowl of German potato salad in warm bacon dressing, coleslaw, baked apples in a sweet sauce and a bread basked with butter. She dove into the options as a bonus which was not expected. Our dinners were delivered by a kitchen runner and also includes green beans almandine ( over done beans) and tartar sauce for the fish. Our server checked back with us for satisfactory taste and when we were full, came back and skied if we wanted dessert, even when we could not eat all of our food brought to the table. BTW, Keira also asked us if we wanted more fish or potatoes which was the same price. Service was great, food taste was adequate and we were satisfied completely

We had drinks at the bar while waiting for a table, and the bartenders were kind, helpful, and made delicious cocktails. We closed out our tab at the bar before being seated on the front patio. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. We knew what we wanted to order right away, but after our order was taken and waters were brought out, our server essentially never returned to our table. We initially received only two of the three meals we ordered and eventually had to go inside to ask about the third. No one came by to check on our meals, refill our waters, or ask if we wanted additional drinks or dessert. We had planned to order wine and cocktails with dinner, but never had the opportunity because our server did not return. By the time we were waiting for the third meal, our waters were empty, and after we had all finished eating, we sat for quite some time before eventually having to go back inside to ask someone for boxes and the check. What was most disappointing was that there was no acknowledgment or apology for the lack of service. Instead, a staff member joked, "You should get a job here," referring to how we had stacked our own plates while waiting for someone to return to the table. The food remains excellent, and the bartenders were wonderful, which makes the experience even more disappointing. This used to be a place we looked forward to going, but the level of service has unfortunately declined significantly.

During nice weather you can grab a seat outside and look over the water. They even provide pontoon rides during the warmer months (great way to enjoy a drink while you wait for your table). In the last several years they have gone through some significant renovations, especially with the outside seating areas. There is the restaurant on the first floor, and an event space on the second floor. Made 6:30 reservations for Wednesday for 4, and got right in. Had a table by the large windows that look for the patio and lake. Very pretty spot. Got greeted immediately by our server, who did a great job the entire evening. (thanks Laura). Got us water, took our drink order, along with an order for Onion Rings. The onion rings didn't take long, and they were excellent. Crispy with an interesting texture, hot, and served with a side of ranch (could have used more of that). The drinks were good, with the exception of one glass of a beer flight which was super flat, and was happily replaced by the server. For entrees we got: BLT, Blacked Fish Tacos (with extra bacon), Pesto Encrusted Salmon, and Salmon Power Salad. A note about the Pesto "Encrusted" Salmon. It's not really "encrusted", more like a scoop of pesto placed on top of the Salmon, and they finished under a broiler? Good but not what was expected. Didn't take that long for the food to arrive. It was all very good. The tacos were fresh, great flavor and hot. The fries that came with it, were NOT as not as I would like. Both grilled salmon entrees were also very good. The Power Bowl was excellent, with lots of fresh greens and other yummy add ins (goat cheese, blueberries, etc) A very good evening, with the exception of a couple of small hiccups.
