They alerted me to things I should do very soon, ie. an oil change and tire nail fix. Luckily I knew about those things and already had an appointment at a tire store the next day, but it's nice to know they do a general quick inspection to make sure things are good. When I got back for the pickup the mechanic was test driving the vehicle, also a sign of a good mechanic shop. The bill was exactly what I was quoted and I was happy with the price. I feel like it was a good value for getting done what I could not do myself. I think some of us, like myself, have a mechanic friend, but I chose to go here because I wanted it done right and I trust they do it right. The car i took in for service was a family van and we need it to work right and to be reliable. I don't know if everyone feels like I do that these days you always have to fight to get things done right or be prepared for something wrong or to cost extra or whatever but this was simple. I've kept up the maintenance and brought it in for an oil leak, oil change and to clean out the carburetor. I should have listened to my gut and walked out when they wanted a $1500 deposit before they even looked under the hood. Several months later and several THOUSAND dollars down the tube, I have a non-stock, electric radiator that doesn't fit, that bent the fan and caused smoke and sparks the second I drove 2 blocks from their shop, it drains my battery, to the point that now I can't drive it as it overheats or kills my battery and I still have the original oil leak. They promised me over and over again that they'd make it right. The owner went so far as stating he's a Christian but after three or four times trying to schedule it to come back in, he totally ghosted me. If you have a car you care about, avoid this place. I wish I had.

Before putting down a deposit or anything, I asked whether the clutch and clutch coil were included, and she said yes. I confirmed it a second time before going through with the purchase. My grandpa was on the phone and witnessed this. Then the next day, when they got the part, she called me and said I'd need to buy the clutch and clutch coil, and I was confused because she'd said it was included. I told her I'd confirmed with her, and she said she hadn't said it was included. We went back and forth, and in the end, I moved my car to a different shop. Overall, why would a shop buy a part that doesn't include the part that I told them was the main problem? Next time, before buying a part, make sure it's the part I told y'all I needed, so y'all don't have to lie about whether it was or wasn't included. I had to pay a restock fee of 355$. If you decide to go here, make sure EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING!!!!!!. Since they want to comment and say I didn't say anything about the clutch (which I knew was the main problem and the reason why I called them in the first place). I didn't know the A/C compressor or the clutch coil had issues, because I'd been having clutch problems for a while and knew it needed to be replaced. As I said, while on the phone, I confirmed with them that the AC compressor would come with the AC compressor, clutch, and clutch coil, and that the rest was already explained above. Comment for the owners: Don't say I didn't know I had an issue with my clutch, because that was the first thing I said on the phone when I called. Get your facts straight.
