Wildly inconsistent on all counts. Sandwiches never the same, it is like they just change how they do it every day. Sometimes good, sometimes terrible. Seems like there are always new faces in here, and it definitely affects the quality of service. This also affects that sometimes the place is clean, sometimes a borderline dump site. Every time I come here I'm disappointed in the people serving me and the customer service I received when I brought up an issue. Twice I've had to come back because they forgot pickles on a Cubano, instead of remaking the sandwich or giving me credit they handed me a cup of pickles for me to put on myself, then when I point out there's no mustard, they pointed me to where I can get them myself. After this happened 3 times I asked the General Manager to call me and he hasn't. Overall, if the Manager is going to hire these people who don't even know the ingredients of the sandwiches they make he shouldn't be a coward about talking to the people bringing money into their store. A great variety of sandwiches, and it's true that as they say, they make them freaky fast! A good thing to be aware of is you can't customize your sandwich in the way you can at Subway. For example, you cannot have them hold the salami and double the ham. The meat selections on the sandwiches are as is. The only thing you can customize, is withholding a type of meat. I don't like spicy sandwiches, so I always have them hold the capicola. They will not provide extra salami in Lou of the capicola. If I wanted more of another meat, I would have to pay for it. That's just something to be aware of when you order. If you go to the favorites menu, there is double the meat to begin with so the sandwiches are very filling. The store is very clean, the sandwiches are delicious, and if you're stuck at home, they will deliver them for two bucks. Not a bad deal! Love this place. read more

These sandwiches are generally much better than the subway counterparts, but the new wheat bread is just terrible. It tastes like cardboard! The rest of my Italian sandwich is good. I have not ate at jimmy johns for a while probably 6 months although the sandwich was great the service was not that good. about 5 people in line no greeting when I ordered, my order was to go they sat my sandwich on counter without a bag gave other peoples orders out before me. yelled out number #9, I personally like a name to make sure it was mine another guy stood up too I guess he ordered number #9 too so we both reached for it no bag was provided I mentioned my number #9 was to go the counterperson put a bag on counter no napkin and proceeded to next customer still not sure If I had my order or the other guys and i'm sure if he did too ..although I was in store before him. I left not feeling all that good about my experience there ..what happened to customers personal name instead of a number felt like I was at DMV . also no masks on any employee I had mine at least for 2 more weeks this was Spokane Valley store on Sullivan. I will never order from this Jimmy Johns again. Even if I did, they probably can't deliver that far. I was having a guys night, friends all ordered Pizza, I felt like a delicious sub from Jimmy Johns, that Gargantuan is great. Found the nearest one and tried to place an order, said I was outside the delivery range. Pull up my maps and punch in address to address, 1.9 miles. With traffic at 6 pm it was estimated drive time of 6 minutes. 6. I said to myself this can't be right, surely if I call they'll get it straightened out and deliver me myself delicious sandwich. To my surprise, I was told I was too far away. Too far away. What. I politely asked, "oh are you guys on bikes" I could understand, 2 miles could be a bit much for a bicycle. The answer was "Oh no we have cars, but we have a lot of delivers and can't drive out that far,". I asked if there was anything they could do for me, "You could come pick up your sandwich". He was right, I could have just come and got a sandwich, it only would have 6 minutes there and 6 minutes back. I get it. What I can't get over is the terrible customer service and delivery range. I love Jimmy Johns sandwiches, just not the one on Sullivan. I'd say don't order from this one however if you do, chances are you can't get a sandwich anyways. The food a Jimmy John's is average, I personally had a bad experience there. The only vegetable they had was lettuce, tomato and onions. For that and the price they offer your better off going to Quiznos or Subway. The customer service is average they don't try to make a memorable experience for you, they just treat you like your a dollar sign. I will.NOT be going back! read more

I live in Phoenix but was born and raised in Spokane so I come home quite often to see family. I'm not a fan of airport food so I stop at this location every single time on my way to the airport to grab a sandwich to eat later on the plane. The catch is I always leave for the airport at 9:30am and according to their normal hours they aren't supposed to be open. I've been making this stop for a few years now and I have yet to be turned away. The employees are always more than gracious to serve me even though they technically aren't open. They always say if we're here we might as well open the doors! I just wanted to say thank you to the employees of this particular location because they are always happy, kind and willing to help. Had a Jimmy John's driver in a white import on duty about 20 min ago ride my ass for half a street about an inch away from my back bumper.I was already going 40mph in a 35. I slowed down to keep make him slow down and he flipped me off and yelled profanity at me. I've ordered from them 14 times in the past 90 days and tonight I placed an order through the app and requested extra turkey. I called the store immediately after placing the order and requested that the extra turkey be wrapped up on the side as I wanted to give it to my dog who just had surgery. I was told by them that they could not do that. i stated they did it for me last week and I was told still that they said couldn't. So I said I'd like to cancel my order and then I was told to have a good night. My unfortunate experience at this JJ location... I absolutely love Jimmy John's but unfortunately this particular franchise owner doesn't want to treat her customers with common courtesy. I asked the simple question of whether the bacon was crispy or not (because sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't). If the bacon is crispy I get it on my sandwich. If it's not crispy then I get a sandwich without bacon. Very simple. For some reason this question was stretching it too far for this particular location b/c I was hung up on twice and then treated very rudely by the owner of all people! I was promised the bacon is always crispy (in a very rude way) so ordered my sammy w/ the bacon and received anything but crispy bacon. I then called to try and sort the issue out with the owner before I took to leaving a negative comment about her location and to everyone I know and she proceeded to tell me I'm just being a pain in the butt and she doesn't care if I come back. I said OK that's all I needed to know. Surprising she can treat customers like this and still be in business. I'm glad not all JJ franchise owners are like this. I order from this Jimmy John's location A LOT. I work close, and it is convenient. I have never had a bad experience until today, and because of this experience and how I was handled/treated, I will NOT be ordering again. I ordered online, a sandwich and a cookie. The delivery was fast and the driver was courteous as usual. I opened the bag and my cookie package was ripped completely open already (no idea where it has been or what had been touching it). Obviously I won't be eating that. So I grab my sandwich and open it. They delivered the completely WRONG sandwich. Not even close to what I ordered. So I called them up and spoke to a very nice gentleman who listened to me, confirmed what I ordered, had me confirm some things on my receipt, asked what was wrong with the sandwich, what was on it, etc. He told me that they could absolutely run me out a new one, he just needed his managers approval and that I would be on hold for just a moment. Eventually the manager comes on the line and says "yea this is the manager on duty" and then sat there. I said "did your employee let you know about our previous conversation? Do you know what is going on or do I need to repeat myself". He confirmed he knew, but then verified my order and other information AGAIN, asks what was wrong with my sandwich AGAIN then tells me "well I can offer you some customer credit". Um, NO. You don't ask what the customer would prefer, when YOU (the company) messed the order up? I sure didn't make my sandwich incorrectly. What good is that customer credit going to do me now? My lunch is almost over, and I am hungry. I said "No. I would prefer my sandwich that I ordered be delivered correctly so I can eat it". He said OK, and we hung up. Well, the delivery took a bit long (which I can understand, they are busy). This cookie was still in its package (yay) HOWEVER my (correct) sandwich was very obviously thrown together quickly (it was really sloppy), and they still managed to leave an item off of it.
