I had an unexpected great experience here! The reviews were mixed, so I wasn't sure what to expect, and they blew me away. We came here on a weeknight and were seated promptly in a comfy booth. Our waitress was very professional and awesome the whole way through. I had the Diablo chicken which was 2 impressively sized thick chicken breasts. It wasn't too spicy, just perfect. I opted for the soup of the night which was kale and chorizo, YUM, and a wedge salad. My friend had the steak special of the night with house salad and mushrooms. The steak was huge! There was so much food we both ate about half and took the rest home. Great food, great value, great service. The owner even came out to check on us! I highly recommend giving them a try! read more

Came in for the wings for wing week. Ordered them with an old fashioned. The old fashioned was horrible and the wings looked like rubber and microwaved. Everyone at table turned them down as they didn't look like they were done. Normally food here is pretty good but I recommend NOT getting the wings read more

We have been long time supporters of Copper Blue since it was established by its original owners, Margo and Tim. Eventually sold a few years ago and the same quality and service continued. However, this past year changes made to menu with higher prices and smaller portions. Fries changed, daily soup specials missing now and then, not the same quality soups, and we hear patrons complaining about the changes. To the new owners be careful, patrons are fickle, maybe add other items to the menu, but don't change or remove what has worked. read more

Don't ask for a Manhattan which is on the menu. I told the waitress to stir not shake the Woodford Reserve...... I looked back and the bartender was shaking the hell out of it. The plastic cup should've tipped me off. The bartender who looked barely of age apparently didn't even have a bar spoon. Drives me nuts. I asked for a remake. Straight bourbon no Vermouth. SMH. Drives me bonkers..... Bartenders DO NOT Shake Whiskey/ Bourbon cocktails. I had the BBQ Salmon and it was good along with the steamed carrots. This is a great locally owned restaurant to go to. Too many good items on the menu to choose from. The fish and chips is my personal favorite, but don't get me started- there are many more that I like as well. There is both inside and outside seating in season. Found this little place on the way to a concert! It was a very fun hometown atmosphere. If I went back I would sit at the bar I think because it was very cute up there. I was really excited about Buffalo chicken dip but it was a little runny and the chips were kind of burnt so that was a bummer. The service was amazing and the servers were so nice. I just wasn't overwhelmed by the food! I probably got the wrong thing because it has great reviews for that. But I would come again and it was fun to try somewhere new! read more

Had lunch there today! Plenty of parking, this location is not downtown it's on SR 28 heading towards 275 on the edge of Milford. The inside is clean and plenty of tables to sit at. The servers are uniformed, friendly and knowledgeable. At the time 70's music plays in the room. We both ordered the fried cod, one as a meal (1 piece) (( you can get 2)). And one as a sandwich. The meal came with bread and a order of Sweet potato tots and a nice salad. The sandwich came with sweet potato tots. The meal was very good for both of us. The server was great. The sweat potato tots had cinnamon and chipotle in the batter. It grows on you. I will put a pic of both on their sight. Good meal! read more

This used to be our 'go-to' place and we went often and loved it. In the last year, it seems that they are skimping on ingredients, and I suspect not using the quality of ingredients they used to. I keep giving them chance after chance, but keep walking away disappointed. Examples are: the dressing on the cranberry chopped salad is different - not as good. The turkey BLT sandwich doesn't have as much turkey and it seems like they have either changed the mayo mix or they are putting less on the sandwich. The fish sandwich used to be a premium fish, but it doesn't taste like the same premium fish we used to get. All disappointments. When Margo ran the place it was FABULOUS. Now it's just not. Sorry guys, but you need to go back to how you used to make food. If you do, we will be back. read more

Although yelp said this restaurant was closed on Mondays, it was definitely open. Good selection of draft beers, and the service is excellent. The fish sandwich is amazing! I would eat this every day if I could. read more

EXCELLENT! Copper Blue is a genuine Milford, OH treasure. We have grown to know most of the staff and certainly the owners Margo and Tim. What a lovely couple. So positive and that shows in the staff....they operate like a family doing what they love. The food is great, Tim's fish and chips is the absolute best we have ever had and that includes the UK!! The meatloaf was a discovery of my son-in-law. I have to agree with him that it is terrific. Burgers are big and beautiful and their grilled cheese is out of bounds good. My wife couldn't live without the soups and cranberry chopped salad. There is more to say but it is making me hungry just thinking about this gem. Congratulations Margo and Tim, we are certainly glad to have you as friends and your great restaurant so close. read more

OH MY GOSH!!! We found this restaurant on Yelp and had to try it based on reviews - it was AWESOME! Really cute quaint restaurant and we got to meet the owner - she was so nice! Cicely our server went over the top with great service. We came on a Saturday evening around 6:00 and it was packed but we were seated right away. We both had the house salad - it was good and it was served with yummy rolls. I had the dill pickle soup - very good!!! I had the Santa Fe chicken - served with southwest smoky rice and a veggie skewer - SO GOOD! My husband had barbecue salmon and he loved it. We also had the grilled corn cakes - you have to get them! Then we sampled the desserts - the carrot cake - you have to have this! And the brownie of love - unbelievable. We have found our newest favorite restaurant - these guys definitely earned it! read more

Called before placing a take out order - the person who answered was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. They have gluten free buns as well although not listed. I ended up getting a grilled chicken sandwich which was pretty good. There wasn't a place to mark a note for online orders and the gluten free bun wasn't an option, so I had to call for them to make note. My sandwich was pretty good - seasoned chicken breast with cheese and lettuce, nothing fancy. There are probably better menu options but I had to keep it simple. None of the staff was wearing a mask, but maybe that's the norm here - I'm visiting from out of town. Overall pretty good and they have a nice sized patio. read more

Large menu with something for everyone! Friendly staff and fast service. Delicious food. I had the Jerk Chicken (loved the corn cakes!) and my mom had the Cod - which was very good and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend coming here. It has been open for a while despite the odd location, so don't take my word for it, the test of time has spoken. The ONLY thing, which does NOT take away from the food experience, is the decor. I get they're hoping to meld two styles but I'm just confused. They say they're a "grub shack" but the menu offers a selection of elevated and moderately priced items, you get black fabric napkins, and dim lighting. The walls feature beautiful naturescape pics but they're on top of these weird 90s-geometric-popouts painted in electric colors. I stopped in with very hungry teens for an early dinner. They ordered a basket of hand cut fries, they arrived quickly, served with three different types of sauces. They were very good and kids a little sad once they were all gone. A manager/ owner stopped by to give options to my vegan son, he choose penne pasta they tossed with olive oil and chunky roasted pepper salsa. He ordered smokey rice as a side...also a hit. I tried the cod sandwich and blue cheese slaw side, both very good. My other child had a burger, which she said was just alright. She rounded out her meal with a hot fudge pie topped with ice cream. It was tasty, and I got to sample a few bites. Overall, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was friendly and they made sure we were all taken care of and happy. Great experience here! I had bookmarked this place awhile ago after driving by, so we finally decided to check it out! First of all, the service was truly excellent, especially for a casual dining restaurant - props to them for that. Our waiter was attentive, helpful and brought me a sample of something I asked about without even asking for a sample. Onto the menu....they have a great variety of food, including, burgers, chicken sandwiches, unique salads, chicken entrees, steak, etc. In addition to sides, all entrees come with either soup or salad. That's awesome! And I'm not talking about just a basic house salad...they have 3 unique house salads, like the cranberry chopped salad. To start, we tried the beer cheese dip. It was a solid dip - you could really taste the beer flavor, but unfortunately it didn't match up to Dilly's beer cheese dip, which is my true love. I did really enjoy the grilled pretzel bread it's served with though! I wasn't too hungry, so I just got a bowl of the cheesy, onion and bacon soup after trying the sample. It was FANTASTIC. It was creamy and cheesy without being thick and heavy. They sold out while I was there if that's any indication. I also tried one of their fantastic salads. I think this place is great! Again, they have excellent service. It's a nice place to grab drinks and dinner after work, and they have happy hour until 6 or 7 (I can't remember exactly!). It's also great for families. Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The menu had a little bit of everything but at the same time not too much. Our server was great and extremely friendly. She informed us everything was made from scratch and you could tell. Prices were very reasonable and you got to sides with an entree. I chose the chicken chorizo soup and Sammy's salad with my meal with no up charge. Both of these items were terrific and I would recommend highly. For our meals, We got the the Carmela chicken and the pretzel bun cheese burger. The Carmela chicken was very unique and tasty, and the burger was given some care in its preparation. Again both were very good and very much enjoyed. We will definitely return, only thing lacking was a bit of unique atmosphere but the food did make up for it. Great spot in Milford! read more
