Clean and tables very far apart during Covid, can eat outside or inside. Staff is very attentive. More of an upscale place, lunch was affordable, but if you need a cheaper place to eat I would not suggest this restaurant, if you are low on funds suggest waffle house in Milford by Meijer (great hashbrowns). Samantha's salad (name of salad)is delicious. Cod sandwich my husband loved. It is huge. The black bean dip I ate as a meal and was fantastic. Came with these delicious chips. The chips were handmade I think. We go here when feel like something different but do not feel like driving to Anderson. Tip: do not order steak tips, also go early in the day it can get crowded. Perfect for lunch. The outdoor dining would be nice in the evening. We Tipped higher due to Covid. Take a mask. Do not have to wear while eating but must walk in with it, if nervous about Covid the tables are extremely far apart or you could eat outside, may be able to order takeout here, but not sure. read more

There were about 15 of us that ate at Copper Blue for dinner...everyone said it was FABULOUS!! Everyone gives it two thumbs up, and wanted to give 10 stars, but it only goes to 5. :) A few things we ordered: White Chicken Chili Burger + Fries-Really Good!; Chicken Thumbs-Delicious!; Black Bean Burger + Sweet Potato Fries-Everything was really good about the Black Bean Burger, and the Sweet Potato Fries were a fabulous first!; Turkey BLT + salad w/ White Balsamic Vinaigrette-The sandwich was so good, with the thick pieces of turkey and maple bacon! The staff were very friendly; a few stopped and talked to us for a while. We will definitely be back to celebrate some birthdays!! Thanks for the great experience and food. read more

I've been here a few times but just wrote my first review of Copper B in July. As I mentioned in my July review the service here always seems very slow. No reason for it. Plenty of staff on hand and while I'm sure they get crowded there never seems to be a wait. I've taken away all of my stars because of the experience I had yesterday. My family runs a small non profit organization where we raise money for local Milford families in financial need d/t a medical issue. We are planning an upcoming event & we've been hitting all the great local spots asking if they would like to participate. At each stop, we make sure purchase a couple of drinks each. We've spent more money patronizing local spots than we'll raise! We asked to speak to someone about being a stop in our pub crawl. We were told we would be speaking to Jamie and he would be out in just a minute. Several times the waitress came over to us and said, "sorry, he'll be up in a minute. He's easily distracted." After 2 drinks and a whole lot of waisted time we left. I'm not leaving this review because they aren't participating in our event; they didn't say no. They don't even know about it. I'm writing this review because I found out Jamie is a co-owner and his total lack of customer service is way more than disappointing. There was one other couple in the restaraunt. It's not like they were packed. He just simply couldn't be bothered to talk to us. Good to know. So all the great places in Milford are participating- the Governor, Padrinos, By Gollys, etc. Everyone we have talked to has said yes. But Jamie couldn't be bothered to even come talk to customers who requested to speak to him. When people ask me why Copper Blue didn't participate this is the story I will share. We live within walking distance of this place and in fact I drive past here to and from work every day. Going forward, I will continue to walk PAST Copper Blue as well as driving right by. We eat out several times a week and 95% of the time we support local small businesses in our neighborhood. Copper Blue you will no longer be supported by us. read more

Side items missing from order... Asked for my chopped steak to be cooked medium rare. The HAMBURGER they gave me was way beyond well done. It was chewy and rubbery, dry and inedible. The vegetables in the veggie rice bowel were raw but supposed to be grilled. The ahi tuna was lackluster, at best and served with very underripe avocado. Overall, a huge disappointment. read more

The food is good. The food will keep people coming back. But the atmosphere? Oh man, they need to do a tear-down and rebuild. The whole look and feel is trying hard to be hip, but it's forced. The name sounds cool, but the logo is terrible. The interior design feels calculated. I can feel the chain restaurant mentality literally seeping from the walls. Luckily for them all of that is an easy fix (and they should do it). What's harder is getting the food right. In that case, I was pleased with the menu options and it is obvious that they are trying new things. The soup of the day was carrot ginger. Thank goodness they let you sample their soups, because I had no idea what that would taste like (turns out, not something I like). I got the bacon burger with bleu cheese. It was really good, and I definitely recommend it. The service was fast and very friendly and the waitress answered all my questions. I just hope they get a complete redesign soon. read more

LOVE this place. I recently moved to Colorado but seriously miss this restaurant. Anytime I come home for a visit, I have to stop here. I usually get the cranberry chopped salad, but have gotten other items and have never been disappointed. You also get rolls before your meal - who doesn't love delicious rolls with their meal? Oh where do I begin...Waitress came up and asked what we wanted to drink without giving her name (a blonde lady with tattoos), asked if we were ready to order without even giving us time to look at the menu. We took a few minutes to look it over, everything sounded great and was reasonably priced. She took our order and left, we sat in the breezy cool air shivering, while the sun set. Yep, the sun was setting. We got there at 7:30 and the sun started to set before we even got our food. It took over an hour to get our food, and when we finally got our food which was not brought by our waitress, we were sadly disappointed by it. My burger I had ordered medium was hard as a hockey puck, my mashed potatoes must have been sitting in the fridge because they weren't even close to being warm. My girlfriend got the blt with the dried out chicken and the bread was that kind of bread that is so crispy it rips the roof of your mouth open, oh and the fries were extremely over seasoned. Oh, I forgot to mention we had ticks crawling up our legs, clearly not the restaurant's fault but just thought I throw that in there with our delightful experience. We had high hopes for this place as we were in pinch and wanted some yummy food and this place has 4 stars, miraculously! Overall, screw this restaurant and our rude waitress who was the most unprofessional, un-personable person ever. Definitely could use either new management, new chefs or a new waitress. We tried Copper Blue on a whim looking for a dinner spot on south East side of Cincinnati. We came at 7:15pm in told 30 minute wait and were seated within 5 minutes- pure luck as they were packed. As we walked thru all good food looked and smelled good. Emma greeted us after we arrived and took our drink order - Bacardi and diet nice pour!! And explained the soup and specials of the day I ordered Frisco melt added cheddar cheese with a cranberry salad and my husband had the tenderloinn medallions on jasmine rice with FRESH smashed potatoes and broccoli . Fresh warm rolls and soft butter was brought out- yummy! We ended night with the carrot cake YUMMY- great job making it Emma!! We spoke with Brian the owner, very friendly and genuinely wanted our feedback. Brian just purchased the restaurant January 1, 2020. He is the reason we will drive down again!! We really used to enjoy this place but it has really gone downhill ever since the restaurant changed owners. Every aspect of our last meal we got from there was questionable. The grilled chicken sandwiches were so overcooked it could barely be chewed, the salad dressing was literal oil with no flavoring, and the fries were over cooked, not to mentioned the smallest order of fries we have ever received from a restaurant. Great menu and great staff made this a good choice when we decided to go somewhere we had never been. Pricing was very good. Entrees came with a choice of salads instead of the usual side salad. I had the blacken meatloaf. Meatloaf is always hit or miss but this was a good portion and it had great flavor. They were very busy but they handled the crowd very well. This is a cute little restaurant, very colorful inside. The staff is very nice and our server was great. I feel like the menu was a little overwhelming as there were so many different options and varieties to choose from. I went with the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was pretty good although I was not a total fan of the chicken being ground chicken. I also tried the smashed potatoes and the mamas classic salad which were very good! The food comes out very fast and we were in and out pretty quickly. The space in the restaurant is a little tight but all In all it was a nice place to try. read more

Sorry to say this was not our best dining experience. My salad was super tiny and the cranberry, mixed greens salad consisted of very few cranberries and iceberg lettuce only. The cranberry salad I make myself at home is way better. The staff was friendly and somewhat attentive, our wait time was acceptable but the atmosphere was dark and uninspiring. Open the curtains and blinds! Unfortunately the place also smelled like they had just bombed for cockroaches which definitely left me feeling sick. My daughter's favorite place to eat. She loves their buffalo mac and cheese without the Buffalo seasoning or breadcrumbs, and their dinner rolls are delicious. My husband likes the ahi tuna appetizer, and had enjoyed many items on the menu. I've enjoyed the wedge salad, the taco salad, the salmon, and more. Food was good, service was very slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to just take a drink order. When the waiter came back with the drinks, I asked if anyone was taking care of our table and he said he was. Ordered chili with onions and cheese and one of the employees came up to our table after a few minutes and asked if we wanted onions and cheese, we said yes. When the chili came out there was no onions and cheese. We had to ask again for it. The young man who waited on us said they were "transitioning " but didn't explain what that meant. Service was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. When our dinners were served, the food was hot and well plated. Dinner was relaxing and our meals were delicious. Copper Blue is one of my favorite eating spots in the Cinci area. I travel here for work a couple times a year and discovered this Gem three trips ago. I ate there for three nights in a row because I had previously almost always been disappointed in my dinner options. The food was delicious; there was one problem though. My husband is allergic to onions, so he asked for no onions. We received the burger with onions, no big deal, sent it back because he can't eat onions. There was a small plate under the plate we sent as well. They sent the burger (exact same) to our table (with a new waitress) Onions were sticking out the side of the burger and it was the same stack of plates with the little plate under it. When he stated hey I can't have onions and this is the same plate. They said they had scraped the onions off. He then had to point the onions out in order for them to fix it. This is really poor customer service and I say this as a waitress. My husband has also been both a cook and a waiter. Neither of us would have done this. I really hope they can improve upon this in the future because it kind of ruined our dinner to have to insist on replacing the burger. Mistakes happen but don't try to gaslight a customer into thinking it's a new burger. If he hadn't seen the onions we would of had to use his epipen. read more

Stopped in for lunch. I work close by and had been here before. It was my wife's first visit. I had the cod sandwich and my wife the chicken thumb salad. For me, the place didn't disappoint as it was every bit as good as every prior visit. For my wife, it was total enjoyment. Needless to say, we will be back together in the future! Hmmm...I'll give this restaurant a solid...meh. It wasn't bad...it wasn't great. The location of this place is like a black hole for restaurants. I remember going here when it was Shoney's back in like 1990. There have been probably 10 different restaurants in this space since then, and a whole lot of vacancy. But, tonight, the wife and I were out and saw there was a new place...it looked kinda neat. So, we gave it a try. I got "The ultimate bacon cheeseburger" and fries. The cheeseburger tasted almost EXACTLY like the bacon cheeseburger at Outback....like...EXACTLY. The fries...a little too thick. The wife got the BBQ Chicken flatbread...and she hated it. The "Flatbread" was more like a hard flat taco than actual flat bread. She was not a fan. She did try the sweet potato tots...and somewhat liked those. All in all, the place was okay. The service was really good. The people were nice. The space is pretty small. We showed up at about 7 on a Friday night and had to wait about 20 mins for a table....not too bad. The menu was also very very limited. There were maybe a total of 15 things on the menu...if that. All in all, it wasn't a bad restaurant...just...not a great one. Hope it works out for em. read more
