    Fried cheese!!

My cousin invited us to the comedy club located in Doral city Center and we had dinner at Copper Blues Rock Pub. Here you find all the classic pub items with a Latin twist. So we ordered their fried cheese, a margarita pizza, and a cheeseburger with fries. The food was underwhelming everything tasted like it came frozen and they popped it in the microwave. The staff here were really nice and the live music was really rocking.

My ladyfriend and I extended our Sunday Funday with a quick stop here. Located in the 2nd floor of Doral CityCenter, we were drawn in by the lively salsa and reggaeton. We posted up by the bar and enjoyed her usual Pinot Grigio (I had a few sips). The sound system & DJ were great and the nitrogen blasts almost got us back to our younger days of clubbing. There's also a TV (football sundays) over the bar and a great dance floor.

I was taken here for my birthday and unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The service was poor the waitress barely came by our table. The food wasn't great either. I ordered the steak sandwich, which is made with churrasco, but the meat was tough and chewy. I ended up eating just the meat because I was starving, but I left the bread. The one highlight was the drinks, and they were actually pretty good. Also, I've heard they do events and line dancing, so maybe that's when the place really shines. But as far as a sit-down dinner goes, it's not somewhere I'd return. Also worth noting: they automatically add an 18% gratuity, which might explain the lack of attention from the staff.

Came here without knowing about their "You Had Me at Brunch" event on Sundays. The environment was lively, with a DJ playing all types of music including old school hip hop, rap, reggaeton, salsa and bachata.

It was my first time here and if I had to describe it in just one word it would be -LOUD. Now, depending what you're looking for, this can be good or bad. I came with my bestie and was looking for a fun but quieter place, as I was hoping to be able to carry a conversation comfortably. If that's what you seek, go elsewhere. This place is a very fun vibe! Packed! Intensely loud. This is a place that is excellent for a fun group gatherings to drink and possibly dance a bit without talking too deeply. The waitresses were all really pretty and sweet. Their outfits are quite skimpy, so perhaps not a place I'd take my kids or minors. Food was decent. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich but the chicken came out grilled. Weird. But I didn't mind as I actually prefer grilled chicken over breaded/fried/crispy anyway, so it worked out. Overall, it was a good time and I'd return for the right occasion :)

During a girl's night out, we stopped in at Copper's a couple of months ago to have a couple of drinks and listen to music. The ambiance was lively, loud, and lots of happy people. There is indoor and outdoor seating, whichever you prefer. We sat inside. The decor was really cool with pink/blue lighting. Comfortable seating. We loved the live music! Everyone was dancing! The food smelled so good, but we had already eaten. We ordered drinks and those were very good. We just wanted to cut loose and have fun. The crowd was a mix of all ages. There is a parking garage right around the corner, a short walk away. Copper's is on the second floor. There are large elevators to take you there. You can walk around upstairs and look at the CityPlace view. We will go back again.

Good place for a quick bite to eat. The drinks are also pretty good. Usually pretty packed on the weekend and they have live entertainment.

Ask the Community - Copper Blues Rock Pub & Kitchen

Do they take reservations for brunch? Also do they have music during brunch?

Any recommendations for a brunch place with a great Dj and party vibe?

This place is best at night for the live music.

    Can kids go?

Kids can go, but be aware the servers wear minimal clothing; little shorts and tiny shirts! I wouldn't take my kiddos! Loved the place but would personally say it's for adults!

    Are kids allowed?

Not a night that's for sure.

Can you make a reservation for a large brunch party?

    Yes you can.

Are there drinks specials for brunch?

They have $69 Patron and Corona Bucket Special and $25 bottlomless mimosas!!

Is there a DJ during brunch ? If so what kind of music is played?

Every type it's slot of fun and gets really crowded.

On Saturday night is it a live band? if so till what time? what music is played after the band plays?

Hi. Yes there's always a live band. They usually stay until around midnight or so. After that the DJ will begin his set.

Planning on going with a group total of 4 including myself wanted to know if anybody can give tips on how reserving a table works or would it be better to just walk in and order drinks?

Hi Rhino, I recommend giving them a call and a heads up but then again it shouldn't be too bad given they have a lot of space. A table for 4 shouldn't be too hard. You can also let the hostess know you will be having a few drinks by the bar area…

    Is there an age limit?

    Yes 21 for brunch

Do they ID upon entry on sundays for brunch?

    Yes they do.

At what time and which days do they have live music?

    Weekends 7-9pm

Do they have different bands playing every night? What time?

Not sure if it's every night but I have been there twice during the week and they did have live music

The happy hour is with food menu too or just drinks?

there is a small HH food selection last time I was there.

    When is happy hour?

Hi Roxana our Happy Hour is everyday from 4-7PM.

A place that's family-friendly, date-night-friendly, and perfect for a group of friends to hang out and have a good time. Doral Yard is exactly that. It's a hodgepodge of several restaurant booths along with a central bar and plenty of seating options. Everyone can order from a different vendor, which I absolutely love. If you're in the mood for sushi, your kid is craving Spanish food, your significant other wants a burger and fries, and your parents are in the mood for pizza -- there are so many options for every palate. When I went, I ordered from Poke Kai. I had the Tuna Poke Burger -- crispy rice "buns," raw tuna, eel sauce, scallions, cilantro sauce, spicy mayo, Kai salad, avocado, and sesame seeds. So good! My son ordered two sushi rolls: Mauloa Roll - salmon, cucumber, scallion, crab, fried shallots, and unagi mayo. Moana Tuna Roll - tuna, cream cheese, scallion, crab, tempura flakes, togarashi mayo, and lemon zest. My partner ordered from another vendor called YIP. He had miso soup and Peking duck bao. Of course, I also had to try the drinks from the bar (The Bar at The Yard). I ordered: NOT A PEAR IN THE WORLD ($16) - Patrón Reposado tequila, lime juice, Chile Ancho Reyes, prickly pear syrup, and Firewater Tincture bitters. WATERMELON SUGAR ($14) - Hendrick's gin, lime juice, mint, fresh watermelon juice, and simple syrup. Both drinks were super refreshing -- and one definitely had a spicy kick! If you haven't been to Doral Yard yet, please check it out. You will not be disappointed.

My own birthday was celebrated there on karaoke night, and it was one of the most amazing and unforgettable nights. We also celebrated my niece's graduation on karaoke night, and it was another incredible evening filled with friends, family, laughter, and great memories. Seeing an employee post something so negative about an event that so many of us genuinely enjoy is disappointing. From the outside looking in, it seems like there's been a big shift in whoever is running these events. I recently attended both karaoke night and ladies' night, and the atmosphere was completely different from what many of us have come to love. FYI, karaoke night *brings people together*. I can't think of a single time we've gone and not had a great night. That's why this post doesn't reflect what 9 Feet Under has always represented to so many of us. If you work there and karaoke night is that terrible *for you*, maybe it's worth asking yourself why that is. Or perhaps this isn't the right environment for you. But please don't portray an event that has created so many positive memories for so many people as something negative, because that's simply not the experience the rest of us have had. Now you've lost customers!!

There was already a crowd outside waiting for the next seating, and once inside, the intimate setup immediately stood out. With only about a dozen tables, a tiny bar, and the rest of the room dedicated to the stage, it feels exclusive without being pretentious. We sat at the VIP table tucked off to the side. At first, I wondered if the view would be limited, but it ended up being one of the coolest seats in the house. Watching the performers through the side curtains gave everything a romantic, vintage feel, while looking out across the room made it feel like you were hosting the evening. A special shout-out to our server, Arlene. She was hilarious, quick-witted, attentive, and timed everything perfectly. She even brought dessert out at just the right moment so we could enjoy it while finishing the show without feeling rushed. The only disappointment was that the grill was down that evening, so most of the beef entrées weren't available. Thankfully, I had planned on ordering the salmon anyway, and it was cooked perfectly. Just know that if you're coming specifically for a steak, you may want to confirm availability first. The passion fruit cheesecake was much sweeter than I expected, but still delicious.
