I've been to Copper Blues a handful of times now and it's safe to say I'm always even more surprised with how good their food and service is! The first time I visited I was here for brunch so I figured it would be mediocre. WRONG. Even during a jam packed Sunday afternoon, the servers were on top of it and the food was phenomenal. I will forewarn you, if you're not into crowded spots, I'd advise you go somewhere else for brunch. This is a party atmosphere on Sundays. The last time I went I visited for dinner on a weekday and it was much less crowded, but still a good amount of people. The Truffle Mushroom Pizza is sooo good 2. The Mariquitas with the sauce... my favorite! 2. The portion of the chicken nachos is large - it was OK 3. We purchased a bottle of Pinot Grigio at $30 - Good enough price 4. The restaurant itself was super well decorated and seemed fairly clean 5. The host was nice and helpful! 6. The food arrived immediately Negatives: 1. Our server literally look FOREVER to deliver everything - I never received water until our food came. - Our bottle of wine took at least 15 to 20 minutes (felt like an hour) to arrive to our table. By the time we got it, our food arrived with it. Barely had time to enjoy it - My friend ordered the beyond burger, said it wasn't good (I didn't try it) - The fries were extremely salty To top of the lack of attention the server gave our table.... I was a bartender in the past, I understand the importance of a good tip, if earned and I am more than willing to give 20%+... we were charged an automatic 18% tip on our tab "for our convenience" (it was 3 of us) she definitely didn't earn the $18 of tip left. although the food was good, I would not return. Love CityPlace Doral, problem is the parking, it surprises me that in the 21 Century a development was built with such poor parking venue. So I've come here before during a Saturday night, but I ended up leaving due to the music just being way too loud, it was almost impossible to have conversation. I came for a friends birthday brunch in which we reserved three tables. In order to reserve, you have to guarantee to spend $150 per table reserved. Considering that it was going to be 15-17 of us, that was no problem. We couldn't be seated once we arrived because with it being such a big party, at least half had to be there in order to sit down. Only took about 15 minutes for everyone to get there so we sat down pretty quickly. We arrived at about 11:30am, so the place wasn't so packed. It starts to get crazy packed at about 1pm so I would suggest getting there early or reserving a table in advanced. Instantly, we started ordering the unlimited mimosas $20 per person. Not everyone ordered food, but I went ahead and ordered the eggs benedict on a waffle, with chorizo and traditional hollandaise. I wanted to change it up from a regular eggs benny and I honestly don't regret it. The taste of the waffle almost made me feel like I was eating it regular with syrup because it tasted a little sweet to me which was awesome. The combination of the chorizo was also super delicious. It also came with house potatoes so you can already guess that I was extremely full after that. My friends also ordered chicken and waffles and the avocado toast, both looked super delicious! The DJ playing the music was spot on with the mix, I was dancing the entire time! The champagne kept coming so our mimosas never stopped lol. This spacious second floor spot is very open but oh so packed and this was at 12 noon people. The music was ridiculous. It was like you were at a club, just in the day. Every song played people were dancing or jumping in the air. The DJ was fire! Women rule!! At certain times you would hear sirens and smoke coming from the booth and you would see the waitresses with sparklers go on stage and pour out free shots to people by the stage. Crowd was loose! LOL So we had 4 tables reserved but it still wasn't enough seating for all of us but I didn't mind standing. Some of us ordered food which looked amazing..Some of the popular dishes I saw coming out were their chicken and waffles and the avocado toast. Sadly my friends told me the chicken lacked seasoning and the flavor was just bland but the waffles were good. Getting a drink at the bar was a little irritating due to the crowding so be prepare to wait a little but it's worth it. I don't care for Mimosas but they do have a special price for an all you can drink option, saw that on almost every table. Being that it was early I decided I wanted a refreshing lite drink. They had a drink and brunch menu on the table and one drink caught my eye. It was called La Belle. It had Rosé, peach snaps, ginger beer, lemon, and simple syrup. It was delicious and refreshing and I loved the blueberries garnished on top. So as time went by and the music blasting and with all the dancing I noticed my drink had left me a little tipsy. If you want to go to a lit and fun brunch, come to this place! My sister and I came for their first Sunday brunch and they started off with a bang! This restaurant is in the Doral City Place so it's up and coming! They've been open since December but their first brunch wasn't until February. When we got there, we were early so they weren't even open yet but there wasn't much of crowd. They have some small tables outside mostly for parties of 2, as well as some cocktail tables for 4 people with high chairs. These were mostly already reserved because for brunch you can make reservations which is great! Inside, it's pretty spacious with multiple high tables for 4-6 people as well as the bar plus another bar by the window for seating. They also have about 5-6 booths along the back for parties of about 8 people that could be reserved for parties. We actually saw a baby shower being held there! Their brunch menu is pretty limited but we got the loaded tator tots to start off and I got the breakfast burrito which could easily feed 2 people and my sister got the steak and eggs which she also took half home. The mimosas were really good with freshly squeezed orange juice which made them taste delicious! The staff was on point! The only thing that bugged me was that they would come every like 5 minutes to see if I was done with my food when I had barely touched it. I went for a friends bday brunch on a Sunday , it was pretty packed. I order the eggs Benedict which were great and I had the unlimited mimosas. I don't really have any complaints other than the waitress wasn't always around when needed. I'm guessing because place was so busy. Some of the guests at our table had a few issues with the charges they got, my tab was fine I didn't have any issues there. Nice spot for some drinks and live music! We were at the Improv in Doral and wanted a spot where we can have drinks and catch some live music. Copper Blues seemed ideal as there was a spill out from the Improv. They have a stellar bar with plenty of space on one side of the Pub and another smaller yet specious on the other near the stage. The stage as is quite ample and the cover band that was playing was really good, they were mainly playing early 90's rock hits which was up my ally. After a short wait for a table we were seated. The place was packed and popping. The waiters seemed very busy and drinks took a little longer than normal but everything was in order. The ambience was great, aside for the delay the customer service was good and it seemed like a great location for drinks and a good time. I wouldn't mind coming back. read more

I come often here either on Friday or Saturday and it is always a pleasure. They have live bands playing rock music from 80's in English and some Spanish rock. Mix crow of young and old. There is no dance floor persay but everyone stands up and dances everywhere. Great ambiance and truly fun place. The food is good, typical bar food and typical bar drinks. Place is very big and spacious, sits a lot of people. Menu selection is not that great. Service was horrendous. We were sat and the waitress didn't come to take our drink orders, then after she took our drink order, she took 15 min to bring them (the place was empty) and the tomato spinach dip was nasty. It tasted like sour cream and cream cheese mixed with spinach. Even though the first ingredient on the menu is bacon for the spinach dip, there was a dash of it as a garnish on top. Service was very very very bad. The table next to us got up and left because they had been sitting there for 30 min and NO ONE came to take their drink order. We deceived to leave after our app because we weren't willing to wait another 45 mins for a refill or our entrees. Side note for the manager: I understand you have young servers but don't let them make out with their boyfriends inside the restaurant even if they aren't on their shift. Well, Monica, the manager, was nice enough to invite us back for a redo of our first visit on her. She is very pleasant. I think my unpleasant first visit to this establishment had to do with just growing pans. Last night more than made up for that. Anyway, I was happy to come back because I definitely thought this Pub had potential. The music was fantastic last night and even on my first visit. Both bands were amazing. I ordered the Voodoo Child drink which had a splash of grapefruit in it and was just perfect for me. I also ordered a Bad Apple drink and that one was okay. It was a little weak for my liking. We ordered buffalo wings which were basically one of the best wings I've ever had! These wings were creative because they had very small chopped celery in the mix yes, topped on the wings. We also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. We had our choice of fries or chips and chose the fries. The grilled cheese sandwich was kind of disappointing. I am used to a flat and thinner bread and this one was more like a Publix sub roll. The wholr sandwich seemed to lack flavor. Neither one of us particularly liked it and the fries were cold. Not to worry, our server brought us out more buffalo wings. We also ordered the Pizookie cookie and Brownie dessert. These were both very good and had great flavor to them. Vanilla ice cream was top quality. I will be back here because I really like the wings and the drinks and the Pizookie. The bands were amazing. They sounded like they could be in concert. We danced and made new friends on the dance floor. It was so much fun! Our server, who I believe is named Haley., was very friendly and on top of her game. Whats the point of asking for ID at the door if youre gonna ID me again inside? Pretty pointless. Also the bartender, dont remember her name but she was the little tan lady with long black hair and big forehead. It all started with it being a party of 19 slowly but surely we can in in bundles- granted were a big party so it's understandable the service would take a while and it could be a bit messy so we were very understanding at first when nobody tended to the table for drinks until we had to call the manager who was one of our main servers when we arrived- the meal portions are not worth the price i had 2 eggo sized waffles and chicken for 16 dollars which left me still hungry, we ordered bottomless mimosas for most of the table so about 12-15 people expecting glasses we only got 2/3 bottles in ice and had to constantly call staff to bring bottles considering how large of a party we were- about 4/5 bottles would of made it easier along with the juice. It came to a point everybody was pouring and wed run out and have to wait for more bottles to come out for the rest of our table and we made it work but it was not very comfortable at all- we had to go to the bar to order shots individually when we got to the bar they told us to come back and order at the table- confusing for a large party. My main reason for this review was not just the disorganized staff and the lack of attention in terms of being ignored by staff until we had to designate a member of our party to talk to staff because it became entirely difficult and disorganized to get utensils, napkins etc. the biggest problem we had was with the champagne glasses - when they were brought out they were very foggy and dirty to the point we all made a decision to refuse the glasses and ask for plastic cups because it was simply a health hazard and the waitress (our first bottle girl we had) understood entirely. The owner gave us a bit of a tough time about using plastic cups we couldn't understand exactly why- we understand if we have to pay for them and we preferred it as a whole table compared to the glasses we saw. ( which were plastic not glass) we felt rushed to be given one single tab and at this point we just wanted to pay it and one member of our party paid and organized it all on his card compared to the separation by table even. Service was questionable and difficult and ultimately the biggest reason we wont come back, it can be overwhelming to have a large party but the lack of organization and having to track down staff made this not worth the visit at all. We would not have minded waiting longer for service if we didnt have to constantly track down staff for the simplest things like napkins and such- nobody checked on us until the food came out which was one time the entire 3 hours we were there. The vibes are nice but not coming back simply because of lack of organization, inconsistent menu prices to food quality and overall cleanliness- the glasses were a big problem. They looked so foggy that from 5 feet away they looked more white, foggy than clear. Don't recommend for large parties at all read more

I came here for a Miami New Times event last night. The place is brand spankin' new with modern industrial decor with soothing colors making it feel homey. It's located on the second floor in Doral City Place. Parking is accessible via adjacent garage. The place has two full bars with seating in the middle and a gorgeous Improv that will soon be opening. Along with TVs, there is a blend of different types of music, one arcade box, and shuffleboard for your entertainment. While we didn't order food, we did have a few drinks that was prepared by our awesome bartender, Jeanette. Our favorite was the Paloma and Bad hombres. We didn't care to much for the Luna Azul.
