Stopped in Saturday for brunch. Walking in I noticed how large this space is. They have physical menu's for food and drink menu's on the wall by the cashier. I got a chai tea, pumpkin soup and veggie hummus wrap (half of one). My only confusion was I did not know I was supposed to tell them I was dining in so my food came packed to go. This made me feel a bit unwelcome to stay and eat but I did anyway. I love that pumpkin soup it maybe the best I have ever had. Rich and with a good seasoning it had little chunks of other veggies in it. The carrot in it I liked a lot. The hummus wrap was also rather delightful. It had a ton of roasted red pepper hummus. Copper Rock rocks! We've been to 5 coffee shops on college and this is our favorite. The atmosphere is good, and it seems clean :). The only downside is people sitting there for hours alone on their laptops taking up a booth so you and your family can't sit there. We regularly get coffee here but haven't tried their baked goods (full disclosure)..... JK, my wife just reminded me that their scones are also great..... o, and also their chipotle turkey avocado sandwich... ok yes, everything here is good. read more

Daughter and I stopped in for a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Benini 1/2 and the cup of clam chowder. I would give the atmosphere a 5 stars. Line a bit slow but we weren't in a rush. Awesome young lady at the cash register as she was very friendly. Nice gallery, plenty of seating, and good atmosphere. Plenty of families here. WiFi solid. Food came out in good time. Chowder and sandwich together. I would have liked chowder first before my sandwich. Chowder was pretty bland. I would give it 2 1/2 out of 5. Texture so so. When I compare to my Gold Standard it is maybe half way there. I wouldn't recommend it. Sandwich was alright. A bit sloppy and lacking in flavor. I had to ask the guy for a spoon. He didn't bring any napkins or utensils. Maybe we have to grab on our own. I suppose though my expectations were a little higher based off Yelp rating. I would definitely come here for coffee and chill/visit for friends. Probably skip the lunch though. read more

Stumbled upon the Copper Rock on a break at a work conference. Spacious place that had some different seasonal drink specials. There was a lavender infused coffee drink and a frozen rose lemonade which had an appealing floral flavor. I love when places step out of the box with unique flavors! One of the best coffee places in A-Town. And with fantastic gelato and food as well! Sometimes the chai can be a bit grainy, since I think it's made from a powder mix, but it's usually pretty tasty. I have often had some of the quiche which has never been bad. Breakfast pastries are fantastic too. I don't really have any complaints. read more

Love this place! When I had pneumonia, the Harvest Chai is what helped me through. And I'm a sucker for their chocolate chai frappe. Best drink for the heat we had a couple weeks ago in Wisconsin. Great sandwiches too! And the baristas are so nice! Helpful too when you order an Americano not realizing it's not a special 4th of July drink and just strong espresso. This is a nice coffee shop in downtown Appleton. My first visit here I was surprised by how big it was on the inside. There are a lot of tables to sit at. You place your order at the bar and then if you get food they give you a number and bring it out to you. Coffee- All the coffee blends I have had have been delicious. They have a bar where you can add cream and sugar. Food- The food is all typical coffeehouse food but they also have quiche that is delicious. All the baked goods are tasty as well. Service- I have been here a few times and the service is always really, really slow. Not sure how they can improve on the speed of service but even getting a black coffee on a Saturday morning takes 15-20 minutes. The staff is fantastic though so it makes up for the long wait. This is one of my favorite coffee shops and I will continue to come here. Just be ready for a wait if you plan on coming. read more
