I didn't order worms in my stomach but that's what I got! UNWASHED PRODUCE!! I ordered a Cobb salad a few weeks ago and got violently ill with the worst type of food poisoning I've ever had. I was down for the count for an entire weekend, and thought it was over because I started feeling human again. Unbenounced to me it wasn't just food poisoning, there was round worm larva on my lettuce. For those of you who are lucky enough to be unfamiliar with having parasites in your stomach, this larva comes from vegetables that aren't washed properly. They then grow into literal worms and garnish all of your nutrients, resulting in pain and discomfort, drowsiness, and extreme cramping. I ended up in the ER and stayed for three days, and on aggressive medicines to kill these critters. I called Copperhead and asked to speak with the owner, and was told they would call me right away. A week passes, I get it, busy bar- I'll be patient. I check back in with the staff and get a call from the owner less than an hour afterwards. "I thought someone else was handling this." No apologies, or concern for my well being and it left me feeling very rushed off the phone. He asked me what I wanted from him, I asked for my medical bill from the hospital to be covered ($300) missed work to be covered ($200, which is a giant decrease because I missed well over a weeks worth of work in total) and my disgusting meal to be refunded. What I got back was "if it was a real problem, we would've had more complaints." (Mind you, round worms grow at different speeds; anyone who's had a salad from there should be checked asap .) He told me his insurance company would be in contact. It's been another week and nothing. These people won't admit their fault, or apologize for something so blantantly disgusting that's sending customers to the hospital. read more

We have been coming to Copperhead for a few weeks on the revaluate, everyday Saturday. We enjoy the service/ food we came one weekend on a Sunday. this Was such a big mistake. The hostess asked us how many kid menus in which I replied two and she never brought crayons. When she at us she said she's was going to get crayons-10 minutes layer I went to the hostess desk and asked for crayons. I quickly placed my children's order since they are both two as well as our drink orders. awhile later our drinks finally came. In the meantim the manager came to apologize about the Waite for the kids meals.( the restaurant was empty!! ) the kids meals were personally delivered by the manager hot and looked delicious! In the meantime the adult entrees came out- I ordered the steakhouse salad(medium). The steak came out rare and ice cold. It looked so gross!!! Again the manager and offered to pay for the rare salad. At this point I was over the family dinner at Copperhead and just wanted to leave. My family was enjoying their dinner whole I was irritated. overall the service was lowsy and I won't be going back for a long time. we paid almost 100.00 for a "family dinner" when copperhead couldn't accommodate a "family" meal!! read more

Dinner here with my family tonight. Typically I am big fan of the Copperhead admittedly have only ever dined at the Bethlehem location. The appetizers delivered were incorrect, the main course was delivered without the accompanying sides and condiments for which we had to ask for multiple times. The flavor of food was subpar. Overall just a disappointing meal tonight. read more

This is a sports bar, so if you are looking for high end this is not the place. With that being said Copperhead has some great food, drinks, and specials. I personally love their wing Wednesday, I get the Thai chili sauce and love it! They have great drinks and specials at happy hour. My current favorite for the summer months is their white sangria which is a peach! So yummy! read more

Was deciding between here and another place. Checked out both menus and draft lists. Copperhead won by far and we were not disappointed. Happy hour extended on Mondays. SCORE! We enjoyed cheap (but very tasty) appetizers and good meals. Everyone on staff was on top of their game. read more

I have loved the food at copperhead and have been a great customer for years. I felt extremely uncomfortable eating there with my fiancé yesterday. Many of the people eating there came In respectfully With masks on and removed them once they got to their tables. This quickly changed when two large groups of people came in with no masks on and MAGA hats, at first I ignored it, but they kept walking by very close to our table since we were seated near the bathroom. Not one of the employees said anything to them. I eventually said something our very kind waitress since this was making me very uncomfortable, she said she could do nothing since the groups walking around the place with no masks were the managers friends. I then noticed the manager go over to the table and shake hands with the people that weren't wearing masks. My fiancé and I finished our meal quickly and got out of there. I guess the rules don't apply to people wearing MAGA hats... makes me wonder if they are really taking any extra precautions as they say they are due to covid. The copperhead Grill has returned to 30 years ago when Food used to be delicious and service was awesome! We had the best experience here ever! Our server Amanda was knowledgeable, friendly and more accommodating than we could've ever asked for. We will be asking her for her again the next time we come! P.S. Kaesea was our waitress. I cannot write how great she was. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients and made great suggestions. My husband I were looking for a good meal and an atmosphere where we could have a conversation. Without yelling over everyone. It was just that and more. In town for the second time in two months for family matters and this was my fourth time eating (and drinking) here since it was recommended by family. If you know Allentown, you know you are hard pressed for decent options. This place boasts many large projection screens showing all sports and little dials at each table so you can tune the audio to whichever game is your flavor. The service is really good. Hillary and Anna are great! The food is very good and a great value overall (Fillet @ 21.00). Four stars for inconsistent Fillet cooking when requesting medium. We stopped here for dinner at 6pm on a Saturday. We were expecting a much longer wait than the 15-20 we waited. While it was very similar to another sports bar type restaurant, the food was delicious. Our waiter was fantastic. Instead of being annoyed with our 9 year ordering for himself, our waiter took his time and made sure to ask our son questions to make sure he got the order correct. This review is just for service at the bar. I can't speak to the food or food service. A friend and I went for a few beers on a Thursday around 8 or 9pm. It wasn't that busy and there were two bartenders. We placed our order for drinks and eventually were told that the keg had kicked and they were going to replace it. I would have preferred to just order another beer, but she was gone before I could say anything. After about 5 minutes (10 minutes since we sat down) we got our beers with the warning "the beers are overflowing so your glasses are all wet." I've been in enough bars to know that a good bar will comp your beer if you had to wait for a keg to be changed and then your first beer is 1/3 head. Instead, she didn't even bother to wipe them off or offer napkins. I walked to the end of the bar for some napkins and we wiped our glasses down ourselves. That was the last time we saw a bartender. Our glasses sat empty and pushed away from us (international sign for 'more beer please') for well over 5 minutes, but neither bartender came over to us. Luckily our tab was placed in front right after we ordered our beers so we knew how much we owed. We put some money down and left. For me, a good bartender makes or breaks a bar-going experience. These girls seemed to have no real idea what they were doing. I probably won't go back if I'm looking to have a few beers. The wings that the guy next to me ordered smelled great, though. read more

Hands down the best mozzarella sticks anywhere. Hand made and huge! Full of flavor, a must have every visit. I do also enjoy their steak fajitas. The guacamole and pico aren't house made from my estimation, however, they are serviceable and scratch the itch. My only negative here is the service. I was sitting at the bar and there were 3 bartenders, and it was difficult to get a drink and had to wait a while to get more tortillas.... Which in turn made my food turn cold. If the service was more attentive, I would rate it a 5. Three bartenders should easily handle a 24 seat bar and service bar easily. read more

One of the best places to watch a sporting event, especially a local college football game (go Lehigh!) In the area. The tons of the and giant projectors, including the one in the bathroom make it easy to keep up with the game. The beer selection is also great with tons of craft beer on tap. They also have huge 34 oz mugs. The wings were great, big and crunchy with several interesting sauces. The cheesesteak calzone was also excelent and immense. The jalapenos in it made it special. This place blew us away. We were visiting for the 4th of July 2013 and this was the only place we were able to find something to eat after 10pm. What a pleasant surprise, the food was GREAT. We had take out and everything was cooked perfectly. We had Jumbo Lump Crab cakes, mashed potatoes that melts in your mouth, buffalo wings, Filet Mignon, Chicken Penne Vodka, Steamed Broccoli, Sweet Corn and Crusted Baked Potato. The hostess and the Bartender were very helpful and pleasant. Pricey sports bar restaurant. There are huge projectors in the restaurant area. Tv's in the bar area. Lots going on everywhere you look. The music is pretty loud. Was getting to me after a while. You can control which projector you want to listen to at your table. There is Barely a seafood selection. Good service from wait staff. The booths have no privacy with walls. The first time I tried Copperhead Grille was back in 2011. It ended up being the last time. After a poor experience I never felt the need to give it another try. Tonight a friend I haven't seen in a while suggested Copperhead and insisted I'd love their wings. Well she was RIGHT! The wings were the perfect size. Flavor was on point. Wednesday night's are half priced wings which made it taste even better. The icing on the cake was when I placed a second order of the wings to-go and my server, Joshua, politely informed me that the half price special is only on dine in orders. I appreciated him being proactive in explaining the deal avoiding any possibility of a misunderstanding. I will certainly be back. read more

Copperhead is a pretty traditional modern sports bar in terms of decor. Menu selections, however, reveal a bit more variety than most sports bars - with options like panko-crusted tilapia. A pretty tasty chimichurri sauce is also available on several dishes, which I'd recommend (if you like chimichurri sauces). read more

I think this place is about average. Seemed more like a place to get a beer after work then a place for dining. Although I was able to get grilled salmon which turned out to be pretty good. Our original plan was going to another close by restaurant however there was an hour wait and no seats at the bar given that it was 6:30 pm on a Saturday, We took the short trip down the road to Copperhead. No wait time, bar half filled. We decided to sit at the bar. My wife had ordered the White Peach Sangria without seeing the actual menu. It was no where near a sangria, no fruit, more of a mixed cocktail with orange soda. The bartender explained the recipe had changed from before when they actually put fruit in the sangria. My brother and I had drafts. For entrees my brother had the pit beef sandwich which he said was good, my wife had the chicken quesadilla which was nothing special, just okay. I had the blackened fish tacos which weren't very good. Salt must have been the first ingredient in the blackened spice and the fish (Haddock) was basically sauteed not blackened and the texture was mushy. The taco was made with one flour tortilla which tore apart easily making eating it very messy. It would have been better to have two tortillas for each taco. It was dressed with a cilantro lime aioli and sriracha. Could not taste any lime or cilantro. All in, dinner was just okay. Would not be my first choice. I would say service by the two bartenders was efficient. read more

Went to Copperhead Grille on Airport Road for dinner on a week night a few weeks ago with a group of friends. The place was pleasant and fairly friendly - a typical sports bar. I ordered an Italian pasta dish, sorry, the name escapes me, but it was chicken with Marsala wine and sounded fabulous. When it arrived, it looked good, but tasted very bland. Couldn't taste any Marsala flavor at all (I love a similar dish at Carrabba's). Maybe they waved the cork over the dish while preparing? Very disappointing - edible, but no flavor. The overall experience that evening was fine, but I was annoyed that the server charged me for a Pepsi that someone else had purchased for me at the bar before we were even seated.
