This was by far the BEST MOVE I have ever made. I've moved across the US 3 times and numerous moves in between! Let's start with Crystal who set up the move! Crystal was patient, kind, remembered things that I did not. Her attention to detail was impeccable! Her understanding of what needed to be done. Crystal cared and Crystal was amazing! Marcus was great! He followed up before , during and after the move! He actually came by to deliver pizza to the crew and that was such a kind thing to see! Keep up the great work! THE CREW- WOW! Terrance and his crew were so helpful and ice and funny! Working together like a symphony in perfect harmony. Great communication and always with a smile and a laugh. Whatever you do, do not use these movers. We have moved many times and these were the worst movers ever. First they forgot to pack half or our kitchen and it took them 10 days to return my call. After paying for the packing we had to go and pack ourselves so the new owners could move in. They promised they would repack everything we just shoved into boxes so we could empty the house. They all they did was put our boxes into their boxes without repacking. Their truck broke down on the way to us and they had to rent some trucks, they then managed to break many things along with our 85" tv. I paid extra for full replacement insurance and now he is refusing to honor it and told me I had to pay the deductible before he would send me anything. I'm not surprised to see that they have apparently closed. I paid for a full valuation for my full service move and not only did they not provide the paid for coverage, they didn't even give me legally require $.60 / lb for damaged items , I'm fact, they denied me even submitting a claim, stating their claims department wasn't staffed - then allowing the 90 day duration for claims submitting, to pass. I made seven attempts to contact them to file a claim, and received no reply - defrauding me. Stay away if you value your belonging - 0/10 read more

Title: Dishonest, Unreliable, and Unapologetic - Avoid Copperstate Moving for out-of-state Moving. We hired Copperstate Moving for our out-of-state move from Arizona to North Carolina, but we were misled from the start. We were promised a dedicated truck due to a medical necessity (I have severe asthma), and that assurance was critical to our decision. Tyler stated that we had enough in our house to warrant our own truck. After initially quoting $30,000, they lowered the price to $18,000 and guaranteed our own truck--a promise they broke. Just two days before pickup, they changed the delivery window from 5-7 days to "14+ days" and said our belongings would be stored until they could create a schedule. Amy said that, according to the contract, they had 21 days from the earliest delivery date we provided, which did not include weekends or holidays. Then we were told it could take up to three weeks and that we wouldn't have a dedicated truck--unless we paid an additional $8,000. We were left without our belongings for over a month, living on bar stools and mattresses. No one took responsibility. No one apologized. We were repeatedly told, "You should have known." Had we "known," we would have made a different decision. Yes, we should have known. Copperstate should have told us all of this upfront instead of piece by piece. This was a classic bait-and-switch. Each time we called, we got a different story. If you value your time, health, and sanity, avoid using Copperstate Moving. Use PODS or U-Haul instead. You'll thank yourself later. read more

The absolute WORST moving company ever. Movers complained the entire time, took personal calls throughout the time working, and then charged me for those calls saying they were here! On top of that, the movers used no protective equipment on any pieces of furniture and have damages on almost all pieces of furniture moved! I filed a claim through the company and they told me I will get a max of 100 dollars. I tried to fight that saying the damages to my couch will cost around 300 alone, and that doesn't count fixing any of the other damages done to my furniture. When I tried to fight it they said that is all I am getting and if I choose to not take it they are done with me. I said it costs more to fix the damages they caused and they side fine and hung up on me. Now they are refusing to take any more calls! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT EVER GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY EVER. They worked efficiently together to get my move completed very close to the price quote they provided over the phone. Even though we had complicated move with multiple stops/deliveries, they handle them like professionals. Thank you Copperstae Moving for hiring such excellent workers. We hired copperstate to load our truck for us on June 4th. We provided wrap, packing blankets, and tie-down materials (ropes and ratchets) so they could adequately protect our items and secure them in the truck. The loaders (Richard and two others), neglected to wrap several of our furniture items. As a result, all of them were damaged with scratching and multiple chunks missing from the wood and other finishes. They did not use all of the packing blankets and wrap, so they had plenty of material and chose to be neglectful. They also did not secure our items well, and as a result, SO many things fell over in the truck (we had four ratchets and both ropes leftover, so again they had plenty of materials). Our items were damaged due to their neglect. Emmy and Tyler are the sales reps we talked with as well, and communicating with them was often difficult. I at times had to ask the same question four times before actually getting an answer. I had to follow up several at times as well after receiving no response at all. The contract also states in bold that CREDIT CARDS incure a 5% fee. They refused to remove that 5% for a debit card and later backtracked after we signed that ALL CARDS include a fee. They quoted us two hours and two people, but three people showed up and said they were quoted for three hours, and we had to hash it out with them to make sure we wouldn't be charged more (we signed two people two hours). Just so many communication issues that made me think that Emmy and Tyler were only in it for their sales commission for booking a move. It has been a very frustrating process for us, and when we presented the damage to them and told them that our movers were straight up lazy and didn't wrap our furniture despite being provided more than enough materials, they said they weren't responsible and dismissed my concerns. We would not recommend these guys. You shouldn't have to babysit your items or loaders. See pictures for just some of the damage and neglect. Move from AZ to CO with them. Was supposed to be a single truck only with our stuff and was a semi with other furniture on it. They were over 3 hours late for the move, played insanely loud music, super unprofessional, were late delivering our items, destroyed much of our furniture they were paid to pack, including shattering our 75" TV. Can't get any money back from them. Also over paid by $100 and still have not received the money back. Really bad experience. The Google reviews have to be fake because this place is a nightmare. MAYBE they are a decent moving service, but I wouldn't know as the agent that was supposed to call me was: 1) late in letting me know they were going to be late (about 1 1/4 hours later, they text me saying they're on a phone call), and 2) didn't even respond to my reply to their text. This is my 5th move across the United States. I have used national and local vendors. I am so upset about the handling of my move from Arizona to Florida by Copperstate Moving. I requested my furniture to be moved to the facility and subsequently moved to Florida. I have been faithfully paying for storage. I even received a double bill for my storage. My contract says moving initiation July 7 and the representative said, the week of July 21. I have been calling for updates since July 7 to no avail. What a disaster! I have never been treated so badly by a company. They picked up our belongings on 10/24/2025 and moved them into storage at their facility only to. I called and scheduled delI very to our new home for 11/23. we went to our new home on 11/23 but the movers never showed up. I began calling, texting, and emailing with no response. on Monday 11/24 we once again went to our home and onc again they didn't show up. I finally drove to their facility around 10:30 only to find a note taped to the door indicating that the landlord "retook" the property because Copperstate defaulted on their lease payments. It was a fiasco to finally get possession of our belongings which finally happened on 12/4 when the property manager granted access to someone workers to go in and remove them. In the meantime, I spent over $2,500 in temporary housing including hosting out of town guests in an Airbnb. I still haven't been compensated for my direct costs our for our stress, aggravation, and inconvenience. I would run from this company. read more

The moving process was good until afterwards when my newer 8ft ladder did not make it off the truck. The office has confirmed they have my ladder and even sent me a photo of my ladder. I moved on 2/13 and still have not received my ladder back from the moving company. I have been trying for well over 3 months to get my ladder back. I have emailed and called numerous times. I paid my moving bill in full with cash on the day of my move and tipped the two movers. It wasn't until a few days later that I noticed the ladder was missing. It is $150 to replace this ladder. I don't see a "0" rating, which is what they deserve for the way they treated our valuables in addition to us, as their clients. We spent over $19,000 on our move from AZ to OR, and as the truck was being loaded they called and asked for an additional $3000 to expedite delivery, when we declined our moving time line went from 3 days to 1 week, to 2 weeks, to 3 weeks, to a month. Of course, they won't let you look in the delivered truck until totally paid...by cashiers check. When the doors were opened we knew there was a problem. It was not the original packing job. Several antique furniture pieces were just that...in pieces. After several calls and back and forth regarding missing items in addition to the broken furniture, we were advised to sign the online release form and we would receive a settlement in the amount of $1500. Before you hire Copperstate read the negative reviews!!! I hired them for a simple move and was given an estimate. Come moving day we actually had significantly less furniture and fewer boxes than originally expected (we decided to replace some things and took several extra loads in advance). Despite this the move took an hour longer than expected. However when I looked over the contract I realized I had been billed for labor during the hour of travel! I paid $410 for them to drive from one house to the other!!! They also irreparably broke about $600 worth of our belongings and the "claims department" aka the owner will not return our calls about this OR the double billing. Absolutely Horrible experience. They did not send enough movers or a truck appropriate for the size of my house despite a 1 hour call during booking to discuss the size and rooms in my home. We ended up needing two trips and while the guys were nice, it took over 12 hours to complete a move of a 3300 sqft house two blocks to another house. Very frustrating. During the move they broke a massage chair. They have still not fixed it. They won't let me talk to a manager, won't reply to my calls and keep leaving me on hold. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They delivered a child's bunkbed from Scottsdale to Peoria (30 miles) for $652 then proceeded to take the biggest dump in my brand new construction home and not flush the toilet. Worst moving company. We made a reservation for help putting belongings in a U-Haul, we came from California on a very tight time frame. We scheduled for 9:45am on Saturday. When they didn't show up by 10 we called and spoke to a very rude woman who insisted our reservation was for 10 am. waited for 2 1/2 hours when we finally went with a different reliable moving company that showed up right away. Paid these folks about $10,000 over a couple moves & storage. They admit breaking an item worth just $108 and tell me my reimbursement will be $16 because it doesn't weigh that much. I was understanding about an item breaking and was nice to the moving guys, even tipped them thinking it's no big deal as I'm sure they'll reimburse me the $100. Cannot recommend a company that treats a good customer this way. Don't trust these guys with anything expensive or you'll find yourself getting pennies on the dollar if they break it. They charged us very high rates, this was a very expensive high end move from Los Angeles to Phoenix, convinced us they where the best for our situation, had 3 different crews walk of the job on the Los Angeles side. Driver left the trailer on side of street, another truck came to pick up in middle of the night. , overcharged for packing materials which were never used, and most used went of floors to protect wood floors. They "lost" a large Antique cabinet, how do they lose a piece of furniture? Broke a mirror top coffee table, broke a marble top console, broke a venetian glass antique mirror, failed to give us a bill of laden or inventory upon pick up, and we paid extra for full coverage but cannot file a claim due to their negligence, we could go on and on. Look at the way their VIP service packers packed our valuable China sets! PLEASE do not hire them, they are dishonest, they do NOT answer calls or return calls, They do not care about you or your belongings, they would not let us start to file a claim until they were paid in full, and we still have not been able to because they have not sent us our copy of the bill of laden. The person was very responsive and replied that they cant do phone estimate so we agreed to schedule an appointment which we did for next day. So far good but twist started next day. In Arizona's 105+ degrees at the end of June very HOT weather Copperstate Moving sent three men: Terron, Ethan, and Alfonso who were kind, respectful, careful and strong young men. In a word they were amazing. Watching them wrap, protect (especially my Grandma's curio cabinet), carry heavy objects like it was no big deal and even repair a desk and a table with loose/broken legs (I didn't know about that) was another reason that I was grateful that I choose Copperstate. Receiving some Tech help from one of the young men for these 70 y/o+ folks was beneficial in every way. Watching TV these days is more difficult for the non-techy old folks. Thanks a lot you guys. Well done!!! :-) On the Sales end, Crystal followed up without being annoying. We received several "we're here to help with your move" postcards once we sold our house. I got three quotes and Crystal was the only one who followed up. Yes, the only one. Congrats to her!!! Sales folks miss big opportunities by not making a second or third call at least until they are told no. In our case, it took a bit longer for me to make a decision but I'm glad she did her job well. If I could give a zero I would. The absolute worst moving company I have EVER dealt with and I have moved 9 times in 20 yrs with the military. The owner Crystal, lacks integrity, communication skills and does not do what she says she will do. This company loaded my household goods on 18 June 2023, I didn't receive my items until 16 July! I was told personally by Crystal in a text message that my items would arrive in 7-10 days, but the latest date being 7 July...During this time my items were loaded and off loaded on 4 different occasions causing severe damage to my washer and dryer and lost items. The only thing good about this company were the 4 guys loading my items onto the truck.,they did an awesome job however, they were supposed to arrive on 18 June 2023, I get a message 2 days prior stating they would be there on 19 June 2023 so when i called to let them know it was supposed to be 18 June 2023 they had to scramble to get a crew there. Items were loaded onto a box truck which was a surprise, because i was assuming it was being loaded onto the actual truck that would do the delivery like every other moving company has done in my last 9 moves, instead it was off loaded into the warehouse where it sat for 3 weeks until they got a driver and my delivery routed. (I found out later that the company only had 2 drivers). I spent the next 3 weeks getting nothing but the run a round from the owner trying to find out when my items would be delivered. She would never get back to me when she said she would. When talking to the operations manager he told me i would have a 22 June 2023 delivery and the driver was 22 hrs , then to be told by the owner he was mistaken and She was working to get me routed and i was a priority. LIES! I was never a priority, She NEVER returned a single text without me prompting her, or followed up with me when she said she would. I finally got a delivery date from the operations Manager of 13 July but guess what? that never happened, it actually turned out to be 16 July....2 days short of a month of this crappy company not delivering my items when all along I was told it would be 7-10 days..this company is a joke and a sham so buyer be aware...everything they say they will do on the website, prepare for the opposite..very stressful, very unprofessional. I made a complaint through BBB as well, only to have them not respond to them either....go figure, not a surprise! They have you by the balls when they have your items and there isn't much you can do. I inquired about having another moving company come get my household goods out of their warehouse because this was unacceptable how long it was taking, only to be told I would be charged for storage that I did not authorize and had no idea it would even go into storage, the other moving company would have to unwrap all my items and re wrap them using their own blankets etc. Save some stress and heartache, look else where for your moving needs, this company is not equipped especially only having 2 drivers at this point. I usually don't write or say anything under emotional distress. I gave myself some time to analyze the situation. And perhaps to allow the same courtesy to the company we hired to provide a service for us. We hired Copperstate movers back in May for Client of ours Move from Los Angeles to Phoenix. Worst decision ever, everything started very well in the beginning, everything was a schedule to start packing and loading on a Tuesday morning, A crew of five people supposed to arrive between 730 and 8 A.m.. Two guys showed up at 11, no packing materials. At 12:30 another person showed up with packing supplies, then he left to get more packing materials because his truck wash very small, not even a commercial vehicle. He came at 2 o'clock. They proceeded by taking a lunch break at that time, and then they never returned. 4 workers showed up the following day, two left early, the other 2 kept asking if I was going to tip them, and who was going to be paying them. At this point our clients where getting very agitated and concerned, because they had to turn over the house to the new owners in 2 days. I called Copper state office several times trying to resolve the issues. Crystal (Owner/Manager/unknown) assured me that everything was going to be OK. She was trying to get different crews to continue the packing. By Wednesday afternoon, a different crew showed up, at this point everything was in complete chaos. No inventory was taking place, we were told the truck, had the inventory numbers and the Packers weren't make a list of things. The truck arrived Wednesday afternoon, he had the inventory sheets, but it was too late at that point. Also he announced that he could not wait for the packers and guys loading because he had another engagement, he was told he be loaded Wednesday afternoon so now we had to find another driver. In the meantime Crystal is totally calm and telling me that everything was going to be OK, that her partner Marcus was flying there to make things better, which never happened, she didn't even call us to tell us that he changed his mind. Thursday, 7 o'clock in the evening they finished loading up the truck, the truck driver left the trailer in the street to be picked up by a different truck and driver that evening. I finally was able to leave California 3 o'clock Friday morning. Everything was self-explanatory for the packers, we color tagged every item, yellow to go to the new residence, red to go to storage. They were items with red tags, inside of yellow tag boxes, and vice versa. They were stacks of plates wrapped into sheets of paper nothing between them. I always have faith that things will get better, but somehow this company and its people managed to make things worse by the minute, several valuable items were broken. And the biggest piece of furniture that happens to be an heirloom is completely lost. That's one of the reasons I waited so long to write this review, hoping that they call me and say we found it". And we cannot even claim it in the insurance that they sold us, because we don't have a bill of laden, as one had never been completed at the time of pick up, they have promised us they would "create one 6 weeks after the fact but we still have not received anything from them, therefor we cannot file a claim. We had them take a large portion of the furnishings, boxes, et to their storage facility but however at this point our clients don't want anything to do with this company. We then hired another company to remove the items from their possession, and I personally went there and I was greeted with a very unfriendly and threatening attitude, we were checking everything since we did not have an inventory from them, just our own list we and given them to get them. As there warehouse guys where bring our items to the loading dock I had noticed several boxes with broken items, mainly WATERFORD CRiSTAL vases and other delicate items. I questioned the warehouse help and then was called to the office where Crystal had some of the broken items, and she proceeded by telling me they were not covered by insurance because I was kicking the boxes, which I responded I never kicked any boxes.
