2 5-piece buckets, mac, tteokbokki, gochujang grilled chicken, sauces
    Belinda T.

I couldn't really tell if the viral Coqodaq is worth the money, but I heard the chicken was actually good, so we decided to try it out one night when we didn't feel like going out. We ordered two 5-piece buckets of chicken for $29 each, which is quite expensive because it was one wing, one drumette, one drumstick, and a couple chunks of chicken thigh (can't remember if there was breast). We also ordered the mac ($14), spicy tteokbokki ($10), and a gochujang grilled chicken bowl ($26). Without a doubt, the chicken is good, fried crispy with juicy meat inside. The batter was slightly too greasy and heavy for me personally, but it felt pretty normal for Korean fried chicken. The mac had a nice cheese flavor from the Gruyère, and the tteokbokki was fairly spicy. I loved the green sauce that came with the chicken. However, the price truly is ridiculous and I didn't find it good enough to be worth the cost.

I really wanted to love this place. The space is stunning, the service was genuinely great, attentive without being overbearing, and the original fried chicken? Legitimately delicious. Perfectly crispy, clean, not greasy at all. The chicken alone is worth talking about. But here's the thing. The sides completely derailed the meal for me. The egg custard tasted like burnt scrambled eggs, and I kept waiting for something to pull the meal together and it just never did. Everything felt disconnected, like the chicken and each individual side were from two different restaurants that had never met. Korean fried chicken is such a specific experience and the banchan is supposed to ground it and make it cohesive. This missed that mark pretty significantly. With this much hype, I expected the whole meal to land, not just one component. When the best thing you can say is "the chicken was great," that's a problem for a place billing itself as a full dining experience. Would I come back just to eat the chicken at the bar and skip the extras? Maybe. But as a full sit-down dinner it felt off balance and honestly a little disappointing given what it could be.

Very good! Grabbed a resy a day before (we got lucky) and was excited to finally try it! The chicken was delish and we loved the ambience and service. The sides were okay and we later realized they never served us the cold noodles (lol) oh well. We did end up taking food home and I would say it doesn't look like a lot of food but we didn't leave hungry at all. I also loved the frozen yogurt at the end - nice touch. Would recommend you stop in at least 1x!! A must try!!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and our waitress was awesome. Definitely a vibe here. The food didn't disappoint. The hash browns and the fried chicken were definitely my favorites. Super flavorful and reminded me a bit of what it was like experiencing McNuggets for the first time. The dessert reminded me of Pinkberry. All-in-all a great first experience.

Solid upscale spot for Korean fried chicken haha! We ordered the Bucket List and it was perfect for 4 people. It came with refillable banchan, a little different from the usual Korean spots but everything tasted prety good. The staff were super friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu and sauces. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, and they also have outdoor seating during the summer. Oh and a nice touch they have a bunch of luxury hand soaps in the front for you to wash your hands lol. Will be back to try out their caviar nuggets

5 stars, 10/10, exceeded expectations across the board. The food was delicious, the drinks were bomb and the vibe was immaculate. We sat at the bar and May took great care of us. It's always an A+ experience when the food and the vibes match the price tag, can't wait to return! OMG THE SAUCES HOW COULD I FORGET. If you order chicken, each person gets their own little condiment rack of 4 sauces and it was so fun to try them all, elite business move.

$24 lunch special for the chicken a rice. Decent deal but definitely a premium! The fried chicken is great though. Tons of flavors and a new twist in Korean. The ice cream is a bit too tarty for me - but enjoyed the chicken. It's a very premium price for a fun experience. More fun for drinks here!

The cold noodles were amazing after walking all around new york. The noodles were thin and had a good al dente chew and the vinaigrette carefully combined italian pasta with korean soba. By far, my favorite part of this meal. The chicken pieces were hearty and big. I can tell they did a wet batter then a dry batter, which is a little untraditional for korean fried chicken. I enjoyed the mini squeeze bottles for trying every sauce. The variety gave us 8 different combinations with the two flavors that we ordered. Lastly, the sinks upon entrance were magnificent. The luxury soap and diffused ring light mirrors gave a preview for the elevated experience to follow. Personally, I found a new favorite luxury soap I will be purchasing for my next holiday gifting season.

Fried chicken and champagne...enough said. But I will say more. If you ever wonder how Korean fried chicken would taste when elevated to fine dining, you can find out at Coqodaq. Chardonnay champagne does pair well with fried chicken. 2 glasses down and I was still thinking about a third. Our servers were super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Sinks in the front with 8 types of hand soaps were dope. Loved our experience.

Great spot to grab brunch with a group of people and try a little bit of everything! For the fried chicken - we tried all the flavors but original (paired with all the fun side sauces ofc) was definitely the best. Side note - I had also had some much fun washing my hands multiple times with all the luxury soaps at the front lol

Yummy and fancy fried chicken. It started to get a little salty the more we ate but they had a nice crunch to it and were fried fresh. The service was great too, super attentive.

Outstanding experience all around! Went for dinner with friends on a recent trip, and it was a highlight of our culinary adventures. The vibe was club-like (complete with a DJ), and the space was visually stunning, very sleek, everything eye-catching--a parlay with the Merovingian would've seemed like a perfectly natural occurrence. It was quite loud, so conversation was a bit tricky, but still easy to have fun with the group. The food was excellent. Chicken was moist, tender, and coated with a beautiful crust that shattered perfectly with a bite. We had to try the caviar nuggets, of course, which proved to be a most worthy indulgence. Cocktails were excellent as well (the egg cocktail is a great visual and quite tasty). And I must say, I'm not a huge champagne fan, but the selection is incredible, it does pair strikingly well with the chicken, and they are amazing in walking you through the options--and, again speaking as one who doesn't love champagne, they will find at least one you'll enjoy! Service was excellent as well. Attentive and extremely helpful with all aspects of the menu. Will definitely return...a few times!

For $64 per person, you get a Korean fried chicken experience that feels way fancier than it has any right to be (in the best way). The chicken is phenomenal--shatteringly crisp, juicy, perfectly seasoned and somehow gluten-free, so you leave feeling satisfied but not sluggish (or as guilty lol) Before the main event, they ease you in with a warm chicken consommé that feels like a cozy. The banchan lineup totally complements the star of the show: bright pickled daikon (elite palate cleanser status) and a fresh salad to balance the fry factor. Pro tip: don't be like me and order the Caesar. It's delicious, yes but you already get a salad with the set. The cold noodles were the sleeper hit of the night. I was not emotionally prepared for how good they were and absolutely would've accepted a second bowl without hesitation. They wrap it all up with a swirl of soft serve drizzled in passion fruit syrup--light, tangy, and not overly sweet. Bonus: the wine and sparkling list is extensive because obviously you cannot eat fried chicken without bubbly. Only heads up: this place is overly lit. As in packed, buzzy, borderline chaotic. There was a group filming content near us. If you're going, expect a scene. The chicken is probably worth the chaos though, remember to get reservations.

The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer.
