I recently purchased a wall mounted faucet for my bathroom remodeling...First, they tried to discount my plumber they didn't even know and have me use their plumbers...Second, I bought a MOEN product and needed the rough rather quickly...so Abrahim (beware) called to make sure the rough I was buying from them supported the fixture that I was buying from them...because the model numbers changed...My plumber installed the rough and then a few days later tried the fixture...unfortunately, it didn't work....after hours of tech support to MOEN we were instructed that it should work (that only the model number changed not the part). When I called CGP besides the rudeness from Abrahim, I was also told it should work...And that he could send his plumber out (because he assumed my plumber didn't know what he was doing) for an additional 150.00/hour to look at it for us...He also told us to call MOEN (as this wasn't his fault) and we had to spend hours doing all the ground work only to discover that the model HAD CHANGED and that it won't fit...(they gave us the wrong part) but can make it work...So needless to say by this time I was completely upset , and (MOEN and CGP) finally realized that the product does not match and they have to send additional parts to make it work...This has delayed my installation and cost me many more hours of installation charges which they have absolutely no intention of reimbursement...This was an expensive faucet and should not have to be rigged to work!!!! I think every company is only as good as how they handle problems...So I would stay very far away from this store...( update...my plumber was to come back 4 days later to make sure the parts would be here...well guess what?...we still don't have the additional parts so more money and time out of my pocket...terrible customer service and satisfaction from my point of view....Oh, and I do have the right company...as I am sure they will try to say this is another company using their name! read more

They tried to double bill us, When they removed a toilet to do work they wanted to charge us to put the toilet back in. It took them almost 2 months to give us the camera work. All have incredible amounts of problems. My one consistent working toilet is the 40 year american standard. The plumber who installed the toilet did not empty the tank and emptied water all over my wood floors. I also bought a few kitchen plumbing items from them (Grohe) that were a waste of money. I contacted Coral Gables Plumbing on June 12, 2013, to repair a water leak in my bathroom and possibly another place, because my water meter showed excessive water consumption. "Mario" came and supposedly changed the flapper in my toilet. However, he said he couldn't be sure that the problem was fixed until I received my next water bill (two months later). Mario stayed at my house for 140 minutes and charged me $260, not payable by credit card. I called the company again on June 24 and told them that there was still a leak in the bathroom. "Jaime" told me that he would send Mario back to my place on June 27, before 12 noon. Around 1:00 pm, I called the company and explained the situation to "Maria." Maria told me that Mario would come, but she couldn't tell me a time She was quite rude on the phone. While I was talking to her, she interrupted me to say "bye-bye" and hung up on me. I waited until 6:00 pm, but nobody came or called. The following Monday, July 1, I received a call from somebody who identified herself as Gail. Gail told me that she wanted to schedule Mario to come back sometime that week. I suggested Friday, after 12:00 noon. Mario called me in the late afternoon on Friday to say that he couldn't come because he was "calling it a day." He told me to call the office on Monday to make another appointment. Then he said I should find another plumber! My bathroom has now been leaking for over four weeks, and I have to find a new plumber because Coral Gables Pluming just took my money and didn't solve the problem. We made an appointment on a Tuesday morning for the next afternoon between the hours of 2-4. At 4 on Wednesday they called and said they weren't coming, that all along we were only a fill in(we were ever told this) and would reschedule for the first appointment on Friday morning(not even Thursday). This is an update to my prior review. Brandon called first thing this a.m. to apologize for missing the appointment yesterday - said he had a plumbing emergency and offered to come out today at 3. He showed up right on time, we walked the job and I am very impressed with his knowledge and experience in residential pipelining repair (trench less). He is writing up a proposal and was upfront in telling me that the earliest they can schedule the work is early March, but once they start, they will work until finished, approx. 4 days. So, I am encouraged and hope to be able to provide a rave review next month. Stay tuned. HERE IS HOW THE STORY ENDED: They did the job (a big job), start to finish in 14 days, as promised. The workers were very professional and kept the work areas unusually clean. The quality of the work was excellent. Bottom line: CG Plumbing is excellent for this type of problem (re-lining/replacing deteriorated cast iron sewer drains under the foundation). They are not cheap, but they do great work and by using the re-lining process we avoided having to destroy/re-do the floors and interior of our home. So, their "trench less" re-lining process ended up costing far less than a traditional "dig up the entire pipe" repair/replacement. I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

Promises, promises, promises........DO NOT HIRE a plumber from CG plumbing! Promised I would be the first job after a quick routine morning inspection. Promised the plumber would arrive between 10 am and noon. As noon approached I called to check on the status. The dispatcher Promised the plumber was wrapping up and would be on his way very soon. 2 hours passed, no plumber. I called back to be told that the plumber he said would be on his way was still wrapping things up and Promised he would arrive shortly. I asked to speak to the manager. I was told he was out of the office and was transferred to his voice mail. I left a message and asked that he call me back. A hour later , a knock on the door, could it be.....yes, sort of. They sent me a different plumber. Nice guy but SLOW. Something that should have taken less than a hour to fix took almost 2.5 hours. SLOW, SLOWER, SLOWEST. Clock was ticking and he took his sweet time going back and forth to his truck to get who knows what. Never heard back from the manager. He sure promised the world when we first met him and scheduled our appointment. Perhaps I should send him MY bill for time lost from work Ended up taking a whole day off! Days after Hurricane Irma, a fence broke breaking an outside water valve. As a result, I could not turn water on inside my entire house. Called Brandon at Coral Gables Plumbing and hours later, Jose, his employee showed up. Jose was fantastic and clearly, knew his stuff. When I was remodeling my 2nd bathroom, I couldn't find the shower fixtures in the configuration I wanted. Everywhere I was told it would need to be ordered and I didn't have the time to wait. Tried CG Plumbing for the first time, and I couldn't be more pleased. Abraham was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Guided us through tbe choices, and their showroom has working fixtures to help you decide what you want. You actually see the shower heads working! We had a great experience. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I called to make an service appointment to have two toliet flappers and the seal replaced. At the time of the initial service call, I gave them the model numbers of each of the toliets and I had already purchased on hand from Home Depot Kohler toliet flappers (seal not stocked). The ended up charging me $215! The guy comes without the seals, has to go back to the office to get the seals as they aren't stocked on the truck. They were going to try and charge me additional time. After the guy leaves, I notice that the toliet now won't fill correctly. Which was never an issue before he started the job. In addition, the handle on the other toliet was damaged by them when he stripped the plastic bolt with a wrench. They return two days later, wanting to charge me an additional hour of labor and the part. The part I was willing to pay for. The additional hour charge was ridiculous as they should have fixed the problem on the first service call. Mind you it doesn't take 1 hour to replace two flappers. Be careful with these guys... they charge an addional $40 service call fee on top of their labor. Parts are marked up an additional 25% over Kohler Customer Service Parts. Very unhappy with the service and costs. read more
