Since moving to Medford 11/24, I have become a regular at the Coram Diner now. I've been back too many times I can count because of the service and the food is very consistent! Any dish I ordered was made perfectly and especially the fish, always fresh! They serve Blintzes but they're not on the menu and I'm not sure why? Very few diners have Blintzes and these are delicious! Now as I'm writing this update I'm getting hungry so now I know where I'm going for lunch! read more

What do I love about this diner? It happens to be one of the best diners on Long Island corn restaurant and diner located at 383 Middle Country Rd., Coram, NY. You will not be disappointed. Lowkey wack, but hey, I went at like 2 a.m., so props for being open that late. I went on a weekday after the Nuggets lost to the Timberwolves (thanks to Westbrook). The vibes were off--I had a lot of money on that game, so maybe that clouded my judgment a bit. Got breakfast food, and it was just like any diner food--nothing special, nothing terrible, just there. Not worth writing home about, but it filled the void. What was cool, though, was their retro CD machine that had all the old songs. I cant believe i have never been to this diner before and i live just 10mins away. The service was excellent. Our waiter was super friendly and the food came out fast! Typically diner feel, nice and clean. Standard breakfast food. Huge selection on the menu. The waffle was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was nice and crispy. My only complaint was that the toast was overly burnt for my liking but overall we enjoyed our meal and will be back! read more

The servers/wait staff are always either rude, or so distracted from talking to each other, that they rarely make it over to the table to check on you. Wanted to stay local tonight for dinner. Me and my husband both had dinner specials, which came with an appetizer; he had spinach pie, he didn't care for and I had chicken wings, which were basically boiled with BBQ sauce drizzled on top. It also came with soup, we passed on due to summer heat, who wants hot soup. And also salad, he had Greek, I had Garden, both basic. For dinner, I had the Chicken Aruba, which I've had in other Diners, but this was really excellent!!! My husband had a chicken stir fry, and he added steak. He enjoyed it. Both meals also came with dessert, he ordered apple pie, I ordered a vanilla/chocolate layer cake; we took dessert to go. Layer cake was delicious, very moist and the apple pie was average. Server was pleasant, great service. I would give this rating 3.5 stars if I could. read more

This place has been around for ages. Great breakfasts. Try the homemade corned beef hash. It's excellent. Wonderful dinner choices. Dinner specials (there are always lots of them) often include a small glass of wine, a delicious appetizer of spanakopita, a cup of soup, a salad an entree and a dessert. All for a very low price ($20-22) Service is always good and the owners are almost always there to greet and seat. We are lucky to have this little gem nearby. read more

I have been here a few times with my husband, the food is delicious, some dishes come with a greek salad that is so tasty and fresh, side salads are usually small, but not here, they are big , you can even feed 2 people with it. Chicken parmigiana was really good, the servers are so nice and the lady at the counter is so professional. As long as you can cook eggs like a champ, then you're a quality diner in my book. Despite the stars average, I can't say anything was bad about my experience at Coram Diner. On the contrary, things were actually pretty darn good (4 star good). I was having a little brunch-esque-timed meal with the lady and her friends this morning when we strolled in. 11am was the right time to grab a booth as the host (probably owner) at the front quickly sat us. Honestly, the parking lot is pretty petite so I'm not sure how the diner would ever be full anyways. Either way, we got a spot and sat, ready to break the fast. The menu shows the usual diner grub, though I was pretty impressed by the list of omelette choices (gyro omelette?). Despite the interesting oddities, I stuck with a classic in the Western variety (with American cheese). Not over-cooked nor under. Quite perfect in egg consistency with nicely-sized pieces of ham and peppers. A side of decent home fries did the trick along with a little buttered wheat toast. One factor I'll say that probably pushed things into the four star range was the friendly waitress. She was mostly on point and had that diner-waitress edge ya might see in the movies from someone in the Midwest. It made for a slightly better breakfast (even if my girlfriend's chums had tiny errors in their orders). Overall, Coram Diner did its job of supplying a meal worthy of a return trip. Yeah I know I just had eggs, but they were good eggs! (Apparently the French toast is worthy of a try too). So next time around when an omelette is on our minds, we'll consider Coram Diner a possibility. read more

Stopped in for brunch with my brother after a visit to Calverton cemetery. I went with an avocado wrap, which included chopped turkey, bacon, mesclun greens and plenty of creamy avocado. I took mayo on the side. The flour wrap came lightly toasted which was a great touch, adding another layer of crispness to the multi-textured sandwich. It was dee-lish and I would order again. My brother had an omelette with side of bacon. The bacon hit the perfect crunchy-tender spot and was plentiful. Omelette very good. We both had home fries and agreed they were in urgent need of plenty of salt and pepper, which we applied. Otherwise they were nicely brown and crispy on top. A picture is worth a thousand words. Not only was the chicken so burnt it wasn't edible. A simple request such as "PITA ON THE SIDE PLEASE" was totally ignored. So the very few pieces of chicken that weren't burnt to a crisp, were dry as shoe leather because the pita soaked up all the juice. This "meal" comes with mozzarella cheese on top, I didn't want mozzarella cheese, so I asked for extra spinach instead. I received less than an 1/8 of a cup of spinach. This isn't the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time I've thrown my delivery order from here in the garbage . I give up this time. I'll never order from here again. We took a ride to Port Jefferson today. It was a gorgeous Day. And the second time since the Pandemic that we have gone out to eat. We passed the Coram Diner on Middle Country Road and 112 on our way Back Home and decided to stop got Dinner. This Diner is one of the best Diners I have ever been to . Wow,Wow....The Food was excellent. And we had so much Food. It started with Spinach Pie followed by Soup and a Greek Salad (by the way the Salad was excellent). For the main Course I ordered Stuffed Mushrooms the stuffing was crabmeat stuffing, Sweet-potato and String Beans on the side. My Husband had baked Scrod with Rice, Pees and Mushroom Veggies and a Baked Potato on the side. It came with a small glass of Wine (your choice red,rose,or white. And dessert (Your choice). I picked Rice pudding my Husband picked Carrot cake. We took everything after the Salad home it was so much food we could not eat any more. Shhhh......I think it is a hidden treasure. Glad they finally do delivery due to COVID but they are doing it completely backwards. Does not offer contactless delivery. We've ordered 3x in the last two months and each time we have provided a card number over the phone. We've also provided instructions to leave the bags if food outside the door after ringing the doorbell to minimize contact between us and the diner employee. Each time they ring the bell and will not leave. We say that's ok please leave the food and they cannot leave because they need a signature for the credit card receipt. I am not a fan of diners. I have been living in Coram for five years. A friend introduced the Coram Diner to me in November 2021 and I was there again in January 2022. The food and service is excellent!! The diner is very clean and that is so important to me. I am looking forward to eating there again. Recommended are the Reuben Sandwich with all its sides and the Grilled Chicken Pannini with roasted red peppers, honey mustard, etc... I recommend the Coram Diner!! GREAT JOB!! read more

On Wednesday I went to this local diner for a 12:30pm lunch. The waitress sat the 2 of us in the quiet end of the diner as requested. When she showed up to take our order, I ordered Pepsi & he ordered tea; he told her that he didn't want to waste her time & he ordered a grilled cheese on the spot. Now, I was still browsing the menu. She returned with the drinks AND a grilled cheese sandwich. Let's talk about the sandwich. It looked like they slapped 2 slices of cheese on 2 slices of barely toasted bread! Totally unacceptable. But, the recipient doesn't have standards so he didn't mind.
