This was my favorite place to eat in pismo beach. The rad rainbow bowl, jackfruit bowl and burrito/wrap, chia pudding, and smoothies were all super fresh, packed with goodness, and delicious. I am so so so grateful for finding a health conscious cafe while on the road. The people working there were so warm, helpful and friendly. I was able to add things to my bowl and they gave me honest feedback on all of my questions. If I lived nearby I'd eat there all the time. The price was more than reasonable for the high quality fresh ingredients and quantity was generous too. Omg omg omg I can't rave about this place enough!!! It's truly a gem!!!

High on the Hog Cakes, added fried eggs for $4.00 for 2, ate the other one before I took the picture

Food is delicious, very generous portions. Got the High on the Hog Cakes, a latte and hubs got their Breakfast Quesadilla. Service was at a great pace, not rushed not too slow. Very kind staff. We sat outside so we could people watch. We went on a Saturday afternoon, the street parking was packed! We had walked down to the beach and back, a nice easy stroll. Definitely worth being away from the waterfront.

Happy we chose Honeymoon Cafe as our first stop on our baby moon. The menu options were salivating and reasonably priced. It was a small wait in line to order at the counter, and they had plenty of open seating. The server brought our order out to the table pretty quickly, and they even brought us extra salsa, no charge. While the OJ was fresh and tasty, the chilaquiles lacked a little sabor (hence the reason for extra salsa). We liked what we ordered, but the portion sizes were small and there wasn't much "umph" to the singular dishes. Overall, the artsy vibe and quality of ingredients is what made this place a pleasant experience.

The perfect morning starts with a fresh breakfast at Honeymoon Cafe. I absolutely adore the outdoor patio and general ambiance of this cafe. Walk up and order up front, the staff are the friendliest and bring out the your plates. I ordered a Lox Bagel with an Egg and my friend ordered their hearty Oats reset bowl with a side of bacon. The coffee here is a must, what a treat it is to sit outside and enjoy breakfast with great views. Highly recommend checking out this beloved local spot.

Honeymoon cafe is wonderful! The staff here are incredible. Great service from start to finish! The honey graham latte is my favorite latte I've ever had! It was made to perfection. The breakfast burrito was good and I loved the wellness shot & smoothie. What a great environment and business. Loved the outdoor seating too, it fit our big party just perfectly!

Some of the best hummus I have ever had - my boyfriend agreed too! Such a cute atmosphere and was perfect for a little breakfast date. Honeymoon is a cute cafe that offers vegan and gluten-free options made with local ingredients to serve healthy and wholesome meals. Staff is very friendly and helpful with the menu. The breakfast potatoes were okay, but the Zen Garden Toast was great! I always appreciate any restaurant that offers and labels plant-based options and would definitely stop by again if I were to visit Pismo in the future.

We were driving from Pismo to Oxnard and needed a quick breakfast. The Hotel we had stayed at was great, but the breakfast there was not. So, we drove up the road and there was the Honeymoon! I actually had looked the previous day at breakfast spots in Pismo, and the Honeymoon came up. We ate inside, and we both ordered omelettes. My partner ordered cheddar with veggies - I asked for goat cheese and mushrooms - and also asked to have it cooked in butter (vs oil). I've been using butter since I began making omelettes as a short order cook in 1973. There's no going back. The omelette was very good - I was a little surprised to see the mushrooms inside and the goat cheese evenly on top....but it worked! My partner also thought her's was delicious. For the sides, she had the potatoes and I had the toast. I asked for the toast to be dark as you can see in the picture....I like it just like that! My partner was a little disappointed with the potatoes - again, a 'picture is worth a thousand words'. Out of the entire stack of potatoes, maybe ten were suitable for eating - the rest were crumbling, burnt pieces of potato! No matter!! The omelettes are what really mattered! My toast was fine - when you go, think about ordering toast, instead of potatoes.

Nice little cafe in downtown Pismo, perfect for brunch! We ordered a couple of plates which were tasty and made to order. The food came out very fast. We also got their chia seed pudding which was super flavorful! Service was super friendly. They allow dogs on the outside seating. Plenty of parking nearby as well.

Such a good place, very big menu, we all order something different and everything was delicious, we also try a few drinks and the coffee is just perfect, also the staff is very friendly and helpful, they treat us all very nicely, the place was clean and pretty, all their decorations are very pretty. They also have a little area for selling stuff.

Came in on a weekday morning. Busy place since it's a definite area favorite. The staff are super nice & accommodating. Their menu is definitely different in a good way. Very creative dishes to choose from. All of their drinks are house made & high quality. Love their orange juice & their coffee. Atmosphere is very laid back.

This little cafe was recommended for breakfast. Very busy with long lines. Sometimes that's a good sign. There are few tables for the amount of customers that visit, in my opinion. Furthermore, the tables are not assigned by the restaurant so people flock to them even before they order their food. I ordered the French toast. My daughter had the oatmeal bowl and my wife had the salmon and eggs. My daughter and I found that our meals lacked flavor. My wife liked her salmon and eggs. I honestly wasn't impressed with either the experience or the meal. I would have to give it another try, perhaps next time.

This place was a perfect stop for our road trip up north! Right off the freeway and plenty of parking during the week. My girlfriend and I both got the B.L.A.T. sandwich on sourdough. I got the green salad and she got the pasta salad and both dishes were DELICIOUS! I also got the mocha chai charged drink, so good! The vibe is precious and welcoming with a lot of goodies and gifts you can buy. The staff is very willing to help and ask questions if needed! Definitely recommend!!

Having cruised around the night prior, little did I know that this was a business that I drove by. I found it interesting that for metered parking, you have to pay on Sundays but during the week it's free. Definitely knew it was a good spot, by the packed outdoor area and the line coming outside. It took maybe 15-20 minutes to make it up front. I ordered an East Coast Latte along with a breakfast quesadilla which was gigantic and flavorful. Nothing like sitting outside knowing you're breathing in ocean water and being able to take it easy in the morning. I really enjoyed the iced coffee which had vermont maple syrup along with two shots of espresso. Definitely a great overall dining experience.

An Unforgettable Birthday Dinner with Breathtaking Ocean Views!…read more We came to Ventana Grill in Pismo Beach for a Sunday night dinner date to celebrate my wife's birthday. This place definitely gets packed, so I highly recommend reserving a table in advance. We were lucky enough to get a window seat, and the outdoor patio views of the ocean are simply amazing! On top of that, the staff here has definitely become even more friendly--our server, Zach, was super efficient and attentive throughout our meal. The food was incredible from start to finish: * Mahi Mahi Fish Ceviche: We started with this alongside fresh tortilla chips, and it was honestly one of the best ceviches we've ever had. * Clam Chowder Soup: This special clam chowder came served with Parmesan cheese bread, which was absolute perfection. Again, hands down one of the best soups we've tasted! * Molcajete Surtido: For our main dish, we ordered this classic feast loaded with grilled colossal shrimp, arrachera steak, chicken breast, chorizo, spring onion, jalapeño peppers, nopalitos, avocado, pork rinds, molcajete salsa, queso fresco, and corn tortillas, served with a side of rice and beans. All the meats were so tender and flavorful, and the rice and beans were really nice. We were so full that we didn't even get to touch the tortillas! To top off a wonderful evening, they brought out a complimentary ice cream with a candle to celebrate my wife's birthday, which was such a thoughtful and sweet touch. Whether you're planning a special date night or a family outing, we definitely recommend Ventana Grill!

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our waiter, Chris, went above and beyond by turning on both big-screen TVs: one showing the World Cup and the other showing the Spurs and Knicks basketball game, which definitely made the guys in our party happy! Everyone enjoyed their food, the SeaVenture dish didn't come out to the table hot, the sauce was warm. The restaurant has a beautiful ocean view; unfortunately, the weather was overcast the weekend we visited, so we didn't get the full experience of the view.
