This time I stopped by on a weekday, in the AM, and the wait time was cut significantly. My first visit I was there for a minimum of 2 hours, this time I waited 15 mins tops. The shop only charges 10 bucks to change your jewelry, but where you really pay is for the jewelry. I decided on a dainty, solid stud, and it was nearly 200 bucks. Dang!! I mean, look, they are listed on the Association of Piercing Professionals (something like that), so I know it's wise to visit them for all of my piercing needs. But sheesh lol. It will be awhile before I get new jewelry, I'll say that much, but regardless I am happy with my new stud and I'm happy with the service.

I lost one, so I decided to get a new set and wanted someone out the jewelry back in for me, as it is difficult for me to get the backing for these piercings, Anyway, I stopped in, was greeted, and informed to fill out a form on my phone. After filling it out, I was taken to the glass case where the earrings were and the ones I wanted only have one left, so I picked out a different pair (they sell the earrings individually). I was told to wait for the piercer to help me. After a short wait, someone came out for me and we went to the back. I got settled on the piercing / tattoo bed and was walked through the process. My piercer was nice and since we were just putting new ones in, it was a quick process. I went back to the front to get rung up for the jewelry and service (they do charge $10 for each piercing change). The reason why I gave them a 2 is because one of my tragus swelled up very badly. Not sure why it would had swelled up like that, as I did not get pierced, so I am not sure if they did not clean the jewelry properly or practice correct hand hygiene. I had to carefully clean it, as it was so inflamed and hurt so badly for days. Overall, it would had been a 1, but the experience up to afterwards was pleasant.

The day I got my piercing it looks pretty nice and she did a great job. My objective was to go for 2Pac style kind of nose piercing.

He explained their full process and showed me their starter jewelry. Once I picked out what I wanted, he took me to their piercing area in the back which looked clean, sterile, and well-organized. The room would look just like a doctor's office if it wasn't for the fun decor. The piercing itself kind of turned into a breathing/meditation session. Sin gave me a squish ball to squeeze and then his voice became calm and soothing. He gently advised me to take 2 deep breaths as he went forward with each piercing and these were not too painful. I was at a 3 on a scale of 1-10. Afterwards, Sin went over the after-care instructions. Despite my mistake with the scheduling, I never felt rushed during my appointment. It is obvious that Sin is knowledgeable and takes great care with the whole process and that safety and cleanliness are important to him. The gal at the front register was friendly and helpful as well. I felt like the pricing for the multiple piercings and starter jewelry was fair. I appreciated receiving a follow-up text the next day and so far, everything seems to be healing well. If you want to get your ears pierced, don't go to the mall like I did before. Known Tommy since college so I finally paid her a visit to get a new nose ring and my partner got her nostril re-pierced (after having it pierced off and on god knows how many times). Tommy specializes is good quality gold jewelery and piercings. She is very knowledgeable on possible piercing issues/reactions if your previous piercing was done incorrectly and will try to find the best possible solution for her clients.
