My friend from the tint shop down the street recommended me this place! Great rec! I've always passed this place for decades! I usually get my tires from the mechanic I've been going to for decades as well, but along with Costco, Sam's, Walmart, discount tires, and America's tires, they were all charging $$$! When my friend called for a quote. This place quoted me $150 less than everyone else. Mind you, I don't need the top of the line tires as my car is a 2013 with 210k miles. Also those other places take at least 1+ hours or more because they do more than tires. Cordobes does solely tires and I was in and out of there within 30 mins! read more

Awesome tire shop. Joe the owner was very nice and curtious. Came in this morning for a left driver tire flat caused by a damn screw. Joe and his assaistant fixed it. You know it kinda hard to fix a Tesla run flat tire with foam. They did it and also fixed my previous tire because it leaked slowly. Reasonable price and great service. I recommend this tire shop 100%. read more

So happy to have found this tire shop down the street from where I live. It's hard to find an honest shop with reasonable prices. There's plenty of parking and the outdoor waiting area is shady, it's a nice lot, very homey. There was a young guy working by himself, he was knowledgeable and efficient. I called around and was quoted absurd prices from other tire shops for used tires. This shop got the job done and saved me $65. This is my new go to. I highly recommend them. read more

Shoutout to John!!! Read the reviews about this shop and they all praised John and I see why!! Stand up guy!! I got quoted an arm and a leg at another shop to do an inspection AND they told me that it'll take 2 HOURS. I ended up finding John's shop and took my car there. He finished inspection in less than 25 minutes and charged HALF the price the other shop was asking for!! I can vouch for John, he'll take care of you! read more

This is quite a long overdue review. I came here a few times for a nail in my tire and Joe was more than helpful to accommodate me. Quick, efficient and honest is what this place gives. I came back just recently and got all four of my tires replaced on my Audi and asked Joe if he could help me. Excellent service, nice people, and it was really fast. I needed a patch on my tire and called and they said they could accommodate me. The person that worked on my car was cordial and the person that did the billing was nice as well. Outdoor seating while you wait for your car to be fixed. I asked the person to give me a receipt and mentioned it was for tax so he made sure to add ALL the information so it's legit. read more

I got an alignment at this place and I had to come back the next follow week because it wasn't driving straight. I hate that I had to come back out of my way just to get an alignment again. You pay for what you get right? $45 I had a low air pressure warning light on and I asked them if they can at least take the warning light out. They were charging me $30 Went to House of Wheels down the street from this place and asked if they can remove the air light warning and they did it for FREE! I wouldn't recommend coming here for an alignment. Yes, it's cheap $45 but you'll eventually come back again for an alignment and it's a waste of time. HOUSE OF WHEELS charges $60 They are more advanced than this place technology wise read more

Came here on a Saturday to get an alignment and paid $40 to have it done. While I was here, I decided to have them rotate my tires as well. Worst mistake ever. As the guy was rotating my tire, he left the tire balancing on the floor which later fell on the floor face first. I had an appointment to meet up with someone so I was in a rush to leave. Later when I got home, I discovered the paint was chipped when the wheel was dropped. I also noticed that the paint on all four wheels around the lug nuts were also chipped. I'm sure this was caused by carelessly using an impact to torque down the wheels. I was pretty excited to have my car worked on here for such a great price but after discovering how my wheels were damaged, I'm going to have to take my business elsewhere. I called around to several places to get my alignment done around the 626 area. Joe was very helpful over the phone and gave me a quote (best price after calling 10 different places). He also gave me an honest approximation of what was the best time to come in so I wouldn't have to wait around, which I appreciated. When I arrived, he was able to work on my car immediately and I was out in a timely manner. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here for alignment and tires. Joe is a very polite nice and very professional, i was searching a good repair shop in the area to change the brake pads for my bmw 428i. Joe helped me with his supplier with the quality brand and brought over to his shop and he changed and replaced everything for me only for a hour labor fee. which only cost less than 50!!! plus the brake pads about 45. . so total less than 100. for a bmw brake service!! guess how much if that goes to the dealer ? 700 up!! and he also help me with a tired repaired. about 25!. too bad i wish his shop can do the engine oil change , but he mainly does tires repair. and alignment, otherwise will be a perfect dedicated mechanic for my car lifetime!. .. now my front brakes pads needs to be replaced. I've scheduled with him again, and always got me in and out quick! Fully support !!! deserve 5 stars totally worth it! read more

I brought my car to get an axel worked on and as soon as I drove off my ABS warning light came on. Went back right away and he said he got the wrong part, human error. He insisted the car was safe to drive and to come back when he found the right part. There was something definitely wrong with the brakes. At random they would make some weird noises and the ABS light would come back on. The brakes would act up but the light would turn off and the brakes worked again. This usually happened at slow speeds but I didn't know if it could happen at normal or higher speeds. It was more than 3 weeks of me taking it back for him to try to fix it again and again. He kept trying different things and ordering different parts that took days to find. I wanted to leave my car with him but he wouldn't keep it until I finally put my foot down. I left my car there and told him I'm not picking it up till it's finally fixed. Behold, the next day it was fixed. It was the bearings. I really don't feel like he took me as a priority and he made errors because he was rushing. I kept asking to leave my car there. I felt like "out of sight, out of mind" and he needed to spend more time with the car. He was hard to get a hold of when I was constantly following up on these hard to find parts. He's the owner and he didn't delegate anything to the other mechanics when he wasn't available. Oh, he was being friendly and gave me some of my money back but it's funny how when I stopped being nice and understanding that he finally fixed it. read more

Went to one place and called another to patch my tire. Supposedly my tire had lining inside which made it a run flat tire. The other 2 places I went to previously said they could not patch the tire. I called Cordobes and explained the unique situation with my tire and they said to bring it in and they will check it out. 15 minutes later everything was all patched and done. I saved $200 from buying a brand new tire that had 15000 miles on it. Still running without any issues 2 months after the job. Definitely come here first for all your patching needs. read more

I am so happy that I found this place! To be honest whether they like it or not they have became my extended family because I am here ALL THE TIME. After my godfather passed away who owned a mechanic/tire shop that handled all my car issues I couldn't find a place that I trusted that wouldn't try charging me an arm and a leg for anytime of service. I've gotten my tires patched and even bought new tires. Joe is very honest and straight to the point and gives the best opinion and advice and won't make you get something you don't really need. Established in 1975.

Back in 1975 Jose Lopez decided to take a risk and open a tire business in El monte ca back in 1975. To his surprise it did really well and became an established business in El monte ca. With the economy well and booming back in the day it was en exciting time for him and now after many years and about three times as many tire shops now as there was back then his son took over in 2000 to continue the business in this tougher and more competetive industry. He got my alignment back to spec , my car feels like new!! Wait wasn't too bad considering I had no appointment and I was out within an hour. Huge bonus that he is low car friendly, will definitely be coming back.
