Ok, we love fresh food and were interested in trying this place as it seemed like even the kiddo would appreciate the "pick your own stuff" like Blaze, etc. I got the Cobb salad, hubby got the build your own and 11 year old got the kids chicken noodle soup. Mine was pretty straight..only complaint was some pretty brown/black avacado on it. I liked the salad though and appreciated how well it was mixed there. My daughter is a bit spoiled when it comes to flavors but we had to scramble and try to grab every condiment in the place to get SOME flavor going on with the chicken bone broth. My husband liked the flavor ok in his (he had the beef broth and some of the flavored noodles) but got really annoyed by the "upcharge" for everything he asked for. I guess just be prepared for that with the you build. The seating is a mess when it's a busy time of day. We had to make our seating area and stuff was pretty dirty. FYI the rest of my family suggested 2 stars but I gave an extra because the salad was good. Don't know if we will go back. read more

I think I have to try this place again at a later time. It's too new and perhaps there are some kinks that need ironing out. We ordered three salads but weren't given the option of choosing what size we wanted. (Didn't know well enough to ask...so that is our fault) My salad with tuna was ok, daughter's salad that she made herself was ok. Husband ordered the Cobb salad...not ok. Chicken with lettuce and ranch yogurt dressing and that's all. I think by the time his salad was pushed through, the manager stepped away from the line and didn't expedite it to their specifications. I was already on my way to table and didn't notice his salad was sadly lacking. I did notice once we sat down and by then he was picking at it and was too amused/annoyed to do anything about it. The food was very good, I enjoyed it with my friends and we really like the food. It was quick and was able to sit and eat. But before we were able to sit and eat we had to get our drinks. At the time I was very thirsty. It look so good, I got my cup and set my food down, as I'm looking at the amazing drinks and trying everyone of them, I tried the honey lemonade... It was just awful, my mouth was stuck with the taste of it and no other drink tasted good. Looks can be deceiving and I never thought I would have ever tasted something so nasty. I think it should be removed. That drink and the other ones get this "L". also we were only suppose to spend $10 but spent about 15 for a drink and a bowl which was their special. I went here today and was very excited about it. I did a make your own salad bowl with broccoli, pickled onions, pickled cabbage, and diced peppers. The woman making my salad did not even ask if I wanted avocado, cheese, nuts, or any other topping. I didn't, so it was fine, but she should have asked. I got the Greek yogurt Caesar dressing which was out of this world. I also added chicken. I was surprised to see that for a simple salad, it was over $10. The woman checking me out did not give me my receipt and walked away as soon as she handed back my card. It was a great salad, but pricey for what it was and 4/5 service. My husband and I had lunch yesterday for a second time. It is a great addition for faster food on Westnedge. It is fast even if there is a line. A major plus is everybody is very pleasant even if you want to change your order because you ordered the wrong bowl size. I always get a green bowl. The greens are a combination and are fresh. My husband has had bone bowls. Yesterday my spicy Ginger Steak was very good, I would order dressing on the side next time. I am always trying to save calories. My husband's Chicken Rice Noodle bowl was good also but needed more flavor, he thought miso, so I gave him my extra miso dressing. We were then both happy. read more

When the staff at CoreLife had a computer error they did a terrible job at dealing with the very long line of people waiting for their food. By the time they gave my family our food the broth in my children's soup was cold and didn't taste good. My grains and greens bowl was missing grains as well. I had to wait at least 10-15 minutes after my food was ready to eat just because they had a problem with ringing up my order. The staff did nothing for my inconvenience. This is my favorite "fast food" place in Portage. I eat here once or twice a week usually and it always tastes so fresh! I get the Southwest Chicken Bowl and the Beet Lemonade is AMAZING!!! Only downfall is, if you order online and pull up to the window to pick up sometimes it will take them 5-10 minutes past the "pick up time" to get you your food which is a bummer. read more

I love this place! Everything is so fresh and healthy. I've gotten a few bowls in the last few weeks trying to try a variety. So far my favorites are the Southwest chicken and the BBQ Ranch chicken bowls. I also tried the spicy Poke bowl which wasn't my favorite but was still tasty. The chicken is fresh from the grill and very juicy. The slice of bread they give is a nice touch and the drinks are good as well. The spicy chicken bowl was pretty good. It was mostly kale with chicken. The falafel was very good. I would try a falafel entree next time. The drinks were tasty! I was so excited to see Kzoo finally get a solid healthy restaurant and really want it to succeed, but there needs to be some serious changes. I strongly advise to pre-order through the app (if it is working - I've had numerous issues with it) because you are almost guaranteed to be there waiting in line for at least 20-30 minutes. I don't know who in the heck is managing this place but they should be fired. I feel sorry for the staff because they all seem confused as to what they should be doing. I understand that people can be picky and indecisive but that's no excuse for how painstakingly slow the line moves. One employee promptly decided to take their break right in the middle of making my bowl and no one ever came to replace them..mind you this was in the middle of dinner rush.
