Some of my best workouts happen at CorePower! The staff is super friendly and always have your best interest in mind. The instructors are motivating and supportive at the same time. It's an environment where I always feel welcomed. They even do free community classes on Sundays! I reserve my classes through ClassPass and this is a spot I regularly visit! read more

I've practiced yoga for nearly two decades, but what happened at CorePower last Monday was the most humiliating experience I've ever had in a studio. After class, a young man aggressively confronted me about snoring during class. I have sleep apnea--something I've developed as I've gotten older--and had checked in with the instructor several times before about occasionally falling asleep. I was never told it was an issue. This man accused me of disrespecting the class, mocked me, and claimed others were pointing and laughing. I was visibly shaken and embarrassed. Even worse, two employees witnessed this confrontation--one even walked into the room while it was happening--and did absolutely nothing. No one intervened. No one checked in. The fact that CorePower allowed a guest to confront another guest in such an aggressive way, with staff present and silent, is incredibly irresponsible. If my snoring truly disrupted class, it should've been addressed professionally and privately by the instructor--not left to some self-appointed "defender of sacred space" to humiliate me. If you're looking for a supportive space and happen to be human--tired, imperfect, or not conventionally fit--just know that you might not find kindness here. read more

Such an insanely awesome session, like I have never felt inner peace like this before. This studio is so clean, calm, nourishing and welcoming atmosphere. As a nervous first timer, I was on edge first walking into the door but it was such a smooth transition and I got a rental yoga mat as a newcomer to use for free and it was a just so wonderful to relax with Shauna as the instructor. It was a long session (75 minutes) on Sunday evening at 4pm and it was worth every single second, I've never felt so at peace and relaxed. read more

I have been attending classes here for only 3 weeks but WOW!!! The location is peaceful and calm inside, with beautiful bathrooms that also have showers and a dressing area. The teachers are all wonderful. They are kind and patient with my newbie questions. During classes, they push you hard and continue to praise your efforts. I have never been to a gym or a studio for fitness classes that makes you feel like you belong without judgement. This place is going to be my new fitness home and I am already spreading the word for people to come try out a class! read more

I love this studio and instructors! I have been going here for years. The teachers are excellent. The studio is clean and well stocked with everything you need: mats, clothing, towels, etc and they have several shower stalls that each have shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They have mouth wash and hair dryers. The locker room is big and so you have plenty of room to comfortably change before and after class. I really look forward to going to class, I travel a lot, and so I do drop ins at their other locations. Always a great workout, stretch and for relaxation. I love the community, I have so much fun, and I love making new friends! They also have free community classes from time to time which is great if it fits your schedule ( like last weekend I had two classes for the price of one!) Have fun! read more

I joined with the unlimited plan earlier this year as a way of getting back to a regular practice as Covid restrictions were easing. I love having the option to do a solid vinyasa class, a power yoga class and get blood pumping in the sculpt class. The focus on core strength has been really helpful, and I feel a lot strong after the months of going here consistently. Staff is really nice, teachers are overall high quality. Much like any studio, you're bound to find your favorite teacher by trying different classes. Locker room and showers are also very clean. I often stop by the Bay Area CorePower locations, and I feel like this one is more friendly and approachable. If you're in fair oaks and looking for a studio, I definitely recommend! read more

Fraudulent billing happening for months. emailed and called several times. No one replies. They are just out to take your money. Corporate is a joke: Website instructions to cancel will lead you nowhere the categories don't exist. Buyer beware you will be fighting fraudulent charges for classes you never took. Find another studio. Or just plan to pay forever wether you go or not. I haven't lived in a Ali for MONTHS. There are several lovely yoga studios around who are wonderful to deal with and deserve your money. Karma should go to good yoga people, not money grubbing corporate greed that doesn't care. I've been going to Core Power for many years, all over the country and was very disappointed at this location. The studio seemed dirty and the staff at the counter were unprofessional and into their phones and own conversations. Class was ok, but I've experienced a much higher quality at all levels, at other locations. Very disappointing. I will not return. read more

This is my third yoga class with CorePower yoga and the first time at this location. I am taking full advantage of my free week off and I had three days in Sacramento so I thought I should come check out this location. Studio is very nice, rooms are medium size and everything is clean and neat. I took a C2 with Sabrina. The class was good! She explained the movements really well and even someone like me with only 2 yoga class experience can understand and follow without a problem. She even taught us exercises to achieve a head stand. I couldn't do it but I will keep working on it! Haha These classes are really addicting. This 3rd class I took really helped with all the sores muscles I had after my first two classes. Absolutely love this CorePower location! I usually go to the location in SF, but I thought I would take a class while I was visiting family in Sac. I have to say that the staff here are much more attentive, offering a boutique and intimate feel. The instructors are extremely helpful and will adjust your posture accordingly during the session. Started my 1 week free trial here while visiting for a weekend and I was definitely nervous coming into my first ever yoga class. The instructors/staff were super welcoming and gave great tips going in and also stayed for a while after class to answer questions/get feedback. The ambiance was so calming and I didn't feel intimidated at all. I did the CP1 class and I loved it! ' The studio was very clean and the bathrooms all the essentials--lockers, clean showers, toiletries. Was the perfect atmosphere to freshen up after class! I signed up for an unlimited plan and am so glad I did. I NEVER stick with an exercise program and am going on 2 months. The teachers are so great! I knew nothing about yoga and they made me feel welcome at any level class. The classes are hard, I've never sweat so much! But if you just keep showing up it REALLY pays off. I have herniated discs in my neck and arthritis and was concerned it would limit me BUT I can happily say it's made it so much better! You won't be sorry for giving it a try read more

Loved this studio...signed up for the hefty $150/month membership fee. Showed up for the 4 pm class at 4:03 and was told that I could not join the class even though I'm a regular here and know how to set up. So membership is being cancelled and I won't recommend this studio to anyone. read more

The studio manager, Tamara, left such a positive impression on me, it was important that I write this review to show my gratitude. The studio has a wonderful feel to it! I felt welcome, it felt clean, organized and modern. We did the C- 1 class and the room was warm and cozy. This was my first time trying yoga in a slightly warmer than usual room and it was a really cool experience. I'll be working on my endurance and look forward to returning for an even warmer and challenging experience. Tamara taught to the perfect level of our experience yet challenged our group at the same time. Her descriptions of the poses were so helpful that I found insight to how I could engage muscles in a better and safer way than I had been doing over the years. That's important to me! I have been a corepower member in other cities and a major proponent of the company and couldn't wait for the new Fair Oaks studio to open. Let me tell you, it has not disappointed. First of all, each instructor is unique, amazing and inspiring in their own way and are completely knowledgeable of yoga postures and strive to incorporate different aspects of yoga and meditation into their classes. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere each time you step through the door and feels like a sanctuary from all the chaos we can encounter in our daily lives. The studio itself is new and beautiful and boasts a luxurious-type dressing room with lockers, bathrooms and showers. Whether you are new to yoga, or a seasoned yogi, this is the place for you. I've been practicing yoga for 6 years in the Sacramento area and was excited to try Corepower as its very conveniently located. I signed up in December and hung in till May but finally canceled. Yes, the studio is brand new and very clean. The teachers are well trained and friendly- in a professional manner. The downside for me was experiencing what happens to yoga when it's corporatized. They have taken the heart of yoga and reduced it to a business venture here. Their classes are structured in such a way that the creativity of teachers is stifled and classes all have a very predictable flow that gets boring after a while. The rule of silence in the studio impedes any chance of building community, which is an key part of a successful yoga studio and also hard to swallow when I'm forking over 150$ a month to be reminded to be quiet. In short I felt like a yoga drone being taught by yoga robots. If you're brand new to yoga, if you travel alot or if you enjoy structure and routine and just want to skim the surface of what yoga can offer this is your place, providing you can afford it. As for me I need a more heartfelt, genuine experience and did not find it here. read more

I absolutely loved my trial period here. Every instructor was great, very knowledgeable, encouraging, and friendly. I had never tried hot yoga before and I suspected I'd either LOVE or HATE it. Much to my surprise I loved it. I have NEVER felt so relaxed, so at peace, so flexible and just happy... being. During my practice, I was able to let everything on my mind (phone calls to return, errands to run, the grocery list) just disappear and I do NOT do that easily. :) The studio is in immaculate shape. The amenities are fabulous. There are cleaning supplies for your mat, showers, toiletries, even feminine products all for complimentary use. You could practically eat off the bathroom floors they are so clean. The place just promotes calm and makes you feel good. The ONLY reason for the 3 star mark is that they are SO SO expensive I simply don't quite understand how many of us could afford that every month. I am the type that needs a variety of workouts each week, and I don't gravitate towards just 1 activity. That being said, my ideal wish is that I could pay maybe $60 per month and go to yoga twice a week. The other days I have Zumba, kickboxing, boot camp, and weight training. Plus I rest my body 2 days a week, so the $150 for unlimited just isn't something for me. I have a co-worker that's paying that and she goes probably 5-6 times per week, so for her that package is suitable. I just wish there was a bit more possible customization as I can't just justify both my monthly gym membership and a membership here that's so pricey. *One more note I need to mention: Yes, if you arrive late then you will not be allowed to enter class, however, and I may offend some folks, but I agree with that policy 100%! Yoga is about relaxation, and I think it's discourteous to expect your fellow yogi-mates to be ok with you interrupting class when they all arrived on time. Just my .02 read more

Got there at 5:45 AM for my 6AM class and the studio was closed, somehow they cancel the class that day without notice. That's zero nice! In other yoga studios they either send you an email or update the schedule on line in advance, or they just find a replacement to teach the yoga class. read more

I initially started coming in for yoga as part of my rehab for a tweaked back. In a weird way, I'm grateful that my injury forced me to make a long term commitment to yoga to get back to normal, b/c I'm shocked at how awesome yoga at CorePower is :). Erin and the other yoga teachers at CorePower do an amazing job leading even those new to yoga through a smooth, comfortable workout that makes you stronger, more flexible, more balanced and more healthy. Their different classes work really well for yoga newbies and are still challenging as you get more experienced. The facilities are immaculate, and as soon as I walk out the door of a class here I'm already looking forward to my next class. The studio looks brand new. The staff is energetic, fun, friendly and professional. I took Erin's 9 am class and she definitely knows what she is doing. The floors are immaculate. I've been to other studios where when someone fluffs out their mat, I got doused with dust. That couldn't happen at Core Power Yoga! The classes are worth the price. I'm still in my free trial period, but I'll definitely be signing up. There is plenty of free parking. They have yoga mats and towels for rent. Clean showers are available in the locker room. Really great studio. This was my first studio experience and I couldn't have loved it more. So far I've done the C1 and C1.5 classes both taught by Daniela. The workout was amazing and the energy throughout the sessions were super positive and uplifting. They play really cool music too combined with the heat to ramp up the intensity. I have been going to the Fair Oaks studio for quite awhile and overall, I love it. However, this past couple of months I noticed in the sculpt classes that some of the instructors adjust the temperature so that it is way hotter than 92, which is what I read the temperature is supposed to be in the classes. When it is hotter than that, more people sit down, and I feel unmotivated as I can't do as much as I can at 92 degrees. If I wanted to do HOT yoga, I would take the Hot Power Fusion class, or go specifically to a Hot Yoga studio. The high temps don't seem dependent on how full the class is. You can see the temp displayed on the side wall by the instructor's phone. Please advise if I am wrong about the 92 degrees. Also please advise if the temp is at the discretion of the instructor, and they can put "their" temp on your website, and I can plan accordingly, which classes to attend based on the temp chosen by the teacher. I love that there's a class almost every hour from morning til night. There is a schedule to fit everyone's schedule - especially for those who have careers. The ambiance is nice and stylish.
